As a local I have been coming here for as long as I can remember, and the food never disappoints! It is always fresh, tasteful, and the quantity is great for the price, you always get plenty of food (usually I always have leftovers). It's affordable and I love bringing my family here for some grub. The restaurant is always clean, so eating inside is a plus. The wait time is usually not that long, just depends on what you order or how busy they are like any other place. Today I went in for the first time ever. I tried getting help from the front to get ice. Because the soda machine was out of ice... I stood in front counter 3 feet apart from 6 employees that saw me asking for help and standing in front counter to get some ice. I must of been wainting for 6 to 7 minutes until an employee came out from the back to fill machine with ice. When food was ready, Yet again i had to wait to get ketchup and agai, to get yellow chillies. I have been doing custom service in a pet businesses for over 40 years and never experienced such a bad moment. Like this. Stopped by R Burgers on Van Buren for lunch and went straight for the signature R Burger--10/10. That char on the patty is legit, the avocado was perfectly ripe, and the cheese melted just right. I'm a huge onion fan and the purple onion added a sharp, fresh bite that tied it all together. With big chain burger spots all around, they don't even come close to the freshness here. I went through the drive thru and the girl working it was on her phone. It was definitely a personal call and not an emergency, she was gossiping. We went through the drive-through today Saturday around 3:30 pm. Not busy at all. Service was quick, easy ordering, fast turn around. Food was ready for us quickly. Staff was friendly and professional. I've never had these burgers before, but our friends here in Riverside recommended it. The burgers definitely did not disappoint. Mine burger was very tasty, juicy, excellent taste on the bacon. The fries were just ok. I like crunchy fries, the ones I got were more on the soggy side, not sure if they don't do crispy fries here. 4/20/24 I've been to a few places for club sandwiches. R Burgers have a great price plus it comes with French fries. Some places in Riverside don't add a side so I appreciate it's included in the price. Also the sandwich and fries came with ranch. Service was amazing, very helpful and nice. I asked a couple of questions and they didn't get rude so that was refreshing. I used the drive-thru which is great, I was the second car in line when I pulled up, but after I ordered there were quite a few cars behind me. I pulled up about 11:30 so it was almost the lunch rush. I made it out of the parking lot at 11:45 so that's fast service. Yay! read more
