I was having brunch with my boyfriend and while we were finishing up our food a homeless man walks into the establishment sits at our table and starts to use his hands to take our leftovers. No one noticed even though there were employees in the front. This was my first and last time going. They also didn't offer any compensation. I've eaten here twice in two days...one time for lunch, one time for breakfast. Def an upscale neighborhood diner. Food is very good...service is even better. First day I had a party melt with onion rings. As the server brought the food, she said "wait a minute, you ordered onion rings". She said start with those, I'll be right back with your rings....no discussion...a few minutes later she returned with a giant basket a fresh onion rings...delish!! Evidently the cook was having a bad night because the food was awful, country fried steak had gravy put on it like you would spread Mayo on a sandwich so very little gravy, eggs were over cooked and dry and it looked like half of an English muffin was subbed for a biscuit with zero gravy. French toast very oily and not tasty with zero powdered sugar and no syrup included and finally the roast beef dinner, beef was ok but there were practically no vegetables , just one little broccoli and one cauliflower and very little potatoes and very little gravy, perhaps they ran out. We've been coming to this Brandon's in particular for 6-7 years. I've gone to others and no one makes the pancakes, and menudo better than this one! Our only complaint is that it has certain smell at this location like the sewer or pipes or bad from the bathrooms. If they could fix that situation it would be 5 stars for sure! Our first time at this location we have ate at Brandons in Riverside they were pretty good had not been to one in a while like 4 yrs, and we tried this location WAS VERY VERY GOOD, and friendly, quick service everything was made perfect, coffee is OFF the HOOK!!!! Came here for breakfast on my birthday. Got here at 9:45 and it was busy. Took awhile for a waitress to come get our order. Food was amazing and good priced for big portions! Only issues were the restaurant is very hot. I could see the thermostat and it was set to 80! This sucked because they didn't bring that much water to our table and we got hot fast. This place is so nice and cute, I ate outside which I highly recommend when the weather is nice. I got a Machaca plate and it was super filling and yummy.
