Came here one morning with 9 others. I told the man at the register that we had a 8 or 9-person party and he stated that they don't do "large groups." A waitress ended up putting three tables together and we all got seated. This waitress had such great service. I wanted to do one check but my friends wanted every check split and she offered to do it without even looking annoyed! We all received our food hot and at the same time. Everyone enjoyed their meals and our waitress checked on us/our drinks a reasonable amount of times. I think I ended up tipping her double what my check came out to be. This is a small chain restaurant and literally it is a small restaurant. Be prepared to wait, seating is limited. I could see that the staff were working hard to keep things moving. I came here with my family for a Saturday breakfast and we all enjoyed what we ordered. I liked that the sodas were served in a huge coke cup so refills were not necessary. Nice . Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. They have a lot of signs posted . One says they do not use grub hub, post mates, and so on. We came here for lunch on a Wednesday after school with the kids. Both hostess was not so pleasant or welcoming. As we waited for our food, a woman next to us whips out her phone and cranks up the volume watching a video with F-bombs after F-bombs. Now for the food. My son's omelette was so over cooked that it was crusty on all side. He ended up eating only the fries. My Cheese Steak Sandwich was so bland that no amount of salt I put on did nothing so I ended up leaving 3/4 of the sandwich behind. My wife enjoyed the taquitos. I gave it two stars because Kids eat free on Sunday which is very nice of the owner otherwise I would have gave it a one star. But keep in mind that we came on a Wednesday. For what it is, a diner, I received exactly what I expected. Good food, fast service, assortment of options and best of all...pretty good coffee! They even brought me a to-go cup on my way out. The prices are more than reasonable and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The only reason that I did not give a perfect 5 star...the establishment is so small that seating can get pretty crowded. Other than that, I would highly recommend a visit! Prices have gone up here. Taco Tuesday tacos are now $2.49. I ordered a shredded beef burrito, with red sauce for $2 more. Total price was $16.11 I'll be going somewhere else from now on until Brandon's lower their prices. read more

It difficult to make this review. I usually love coming here. It was one of our favorite places to eat. I came to have dinner for my birthday and called and they said they had outdoor dining. I drive down and they say when I arrive that they only have indoor. They lie over the phone is what they told me. I asked to speak to a manager and the gentleman that had answered the phone said he was the manager. He was not phased that we were upset. If you advertise all day Sunday happy hour, atleast have a bar tender and not your food servers saying they can only give bottle beers. Not even a draft coors light. The decor is old school feeling. Everything's almost wooden. The waitresses are really nice and helpful. The inside is pretty tiny, but they have dining outside as well. Brandon's seems to be known for their breakfast. They have a pretty big menu and come with more than your average two sides. I got the vegetarian omelette with potatoes and on recommendation from the waitress, their "famous" pancakes. Drinks come in a huge glass too. My omelette was alright, nothing really totally special. I do love their homestyle potatoes though, I scarfed those down. The pancakes weren't special. Not really seeing how they are 'best' in town so to say. They are good enough that I finished those and the potatoes and left most of my omelette. Overall this place is good. I need to come and try other things. Come in for breakfast if you're in the area. We came to Brandon's this morning and felt like a Mexican breakfast! Mmm yum! So I ordered the Chilaquiles and was looking forward to them! They came out and one bite I was disappointed! Ice cold! I told my server and the first thing he asked me was if I wanted him to put them in the microwave?!?! WHAT???? No I wanted u to offer me HOT fresh chilaquiles not microwave them and make them more soggy! I gave a chip to the server and he was like it's HOT to me lol ok :-/ Update! I like the homey, intimate feel of this diner. All the servers were super friendly and I would come back just to experience their friendliness and warmth. I had Christina as my server and she welcomed me graciously and was so warm and compassionate. She refilled my water immediately, reading my mind. Came into the restaurant with my husband for breakfast. He used to love this place, but it has slowly changed for the worse. It was the worst omelette my husband ever had. Greasy, and very cold. My husband had to send it back. My breakfast croissant was terrible. They grilled the croissant until it was flat and nearly burnt tasting. I pushed through, took out the inside and left the croissant on the plate. Not a good experience at all. To top everything off, our eating experience was overpriced. In total, not including a tip. It came to $27.00, $30 with a tip. We didn't even want to leave a tip, but it wasn't the waiter's fault. Yuk!!! read more

Came here for breakfast, and expected more from this much vaunted diner. I was seated promptly, and given water and coffee right away by the friendly waitress. I ordered eggs over easy and sourdough toast. When the order came , the eggs were over hard, and one piece (of the two pieces) of toast was burnt. I sent back the eggs, and the toast grew cold while waiting for the properly cooked eggs. The new eggs came , and I ate the one good piece of toast. We have been eating at this Brandon's diner in Upland for over 10 years. We eat breakfast here almost every Saturday. Over the years our favorite has become the western omelette with biscuits and gravy. We have enjoyed the oatmeal and fruit, the bacon or Polish sausage with potatoes and eggs. I've only had one bad experience several several years ago with the meatloaf it was burnt. The manager at that time gave us our meal free and apologized over and over. The jalapeño bacon cheeseburger is great also, sometimes a little bit too spicy but always good. We have several servers who know us by name we enjoy eating at Brandon's. We also eat at the Brandon's in Rancho Sunday afternoons. Some of the servers and host are better than others but we always enjoy our visit. We really enjoy having Renée as our server! read more

Came here today around 11:30 am to enjoy some breakfast with my Honey. I ordered the Machaca Breakfast, & he asked for the Corned beef Hash with eggs. Everything was good! The only ONLY thing I'd say wasn't too great was the Corned Beef Hash! We felt as if it needed to be cooked through alittle more! I even jokingly told my Hun that it kind of resembled wet cat food lol He was so grossed out. Honestly tho , it was way too mushy.. kinda like a mashed potato kind of texture! EEEEK!
