Great food! A very popular cafe and may have to wait for a table, but in opinion worth the wait.

We had breakfast at the Branson Cafe our last day here in Branson. We got there early so we were seated immediately. Our server was great, coffee cup never empty. As usual I ordered my blueberry pancake and I would rate it at 8 stars out of 10. My wife had eggs, bacon and hash browns - very filling. We got our food literally in a few minutes.When we come back to Branson our choice for a restaurant for breakfast will be the Branson Cafe. read more

Ok, the other diners were packed and the Branson Cafe had no one outside waiting so I yelped it and saw that most of the bad reviews were due to no social distancing or masks. This doesn't bother our group so we decided to give it a try. They also had a sign outside that said Today's Special- Meatloaf and homemade mashed potatoes with 1 side and roll- $7.99! All 4 of us love meatloaf so that's what we got. 3 of us with green beans and one of us with corn. The rolls were warm and delicious- also homemade. We all enjoyed our meals and are significantly stuffed! We saw them cutting the pies and putting the slices in the cooler. They were HUGE slices. The service was on par with the food- excellent! read more

Blueberry pancakes were HUGE and delicious Me-Ma's meatloaf was great. If I ordered this again I would hold the bbq sauce and smother in brown gravy. Either way is still great! read more

I went to the cafe around 12 pm and was surprised it wasn't very busy. I had biscuits and gravy which were very tasty. Service was very good,the waitress checked with me several times, and provided me with coffee refills. Food was one inexpensive. The place was pretty full by the time I left. read more

We were seated very quickly & our waitress was sweet. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with okra & mashed potatoes. Awesome! It is better than even the best reviews. Don't let a couple people having a bad stop you from trying this place. It was packed (4th of July) , but we were still seated quickly. The service is prompt which helps turn the tables, but they definitely don't rush you. Manage your expectations it is a very popular place located in a tourist destination....it's unrealistic to not expect a wait. The food is delicious and the portions are substantial. Well, this was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, we waited a couple minutes and were seated. The restaurant was half empty during what should've been the end of breakfast rush. I should've taken that as a sign. It took almost a solid 10 minutes to be given a menu and for our waitress to acknowledge us. A table was seated behind us and got their drinks before we even got menus. Our waitress finally came over with menus and took our drink order. No apology for the wait or anything. They have no flavored coffee creamer, nor flavored coffee. Ok, not super surprising in this area, but still a little disappointing. I order a double cheeseburger well-done with fries and a side of ranch. My food comes out and the meat on the burger is extremely bland. It also tastes like it was put on the cook top before it was hot, so the meat just soaked up all the grease. The only flavor of my burger was that of grease. Not to mention the fact that only one patty was partially cooked well-done. The rest was pink. My husband brought that to the attention of the waitress when I was in the restroom. She said- oh sorry about that- and didn't take it off the ticket or anything. My son's chicken strips also tasted grease soaked, so he didn't eat them at all. They sure did charge us full price for everything though. And the restrooms... you have to walk thru the entire kitchen to use the single restroom. It's a little weird, but the kitchen looked clean from what I saw. Overall, it was a bad experience and we won't be back. We come to Branson several times a year and this place definitely doesn't make the cut. read more

If you want breakfast, order before 11! They stop seeking Pancake, grits, and french toast after 11AM and we weren't told at the door. We weren't told until after we already been seated and we waited about 20 mins! The location is a small hole in the wall diner, right in the middle of The Landing strip/town. I'm giving it a 3 star because of the no certain breakfast items after 11AM and food was okay, it wasn't the worse I've had!. Their service was great and the price is fair. Food didn't sound good nor look super appetizing but it wasn't bad! We had a party of 10 and the kitchen was running behind, we got seated at 11:30am and our food came out about 12:20pm. The chicken and waffles was okay flavor wise. They down the chicken and waffles in a syrup so it is very sweet. The waffle looks like it's pre-packaged. It looks exactly like this Belgian waffle I buy at home for the kids. Chicken was a bit dry as well. The omelette a was confusing, I thought I could order a veggie omelette and add sausage but I had to pick 3 veggies instead, so essentially I just created my own omelette I guess? The omelette didn't look appetizing but it wasn't too bad. The cheese just got thrown on there, it wasn't evenly spread out, just a blob on top. The chicken fried steak was the smallest chicken fried steak I've even seen in my life! But it was okay as well. Definitely way better than the last place I had it at! The mash was instant mash. The cold cut triple decker sandwich wasn't bad, then again, you can't really mess up a sandwich! read more

Came in on a Thursday morning and were immediately greeted, seated, and offered drinks. Their cinnamon rolls are beautiful, huge, and delicious. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage were all delicious too. Highly recommend this restaurant est in 1910!! A great piece of history. read more

This place has been in Branson forever. They maintain the old time diner feel. Service was prompt and the food was very good. The chicken fry was fork tender and well seasoned. I lucked out and visited on Tuesday, their ham & beans with fried potatoes day. All I can say is this will become a regular stop for me on Tuesdays. I can't recall having a better tasting bowl of ham & beans anywhere, including my own! Daily specials $7.99 Mon - chicken & dumplings, mashed potatoes Tues - ham & beans, fried potatoes, cornbread Wed - meatloaf, mashed potatoes, veg, roll Thurs - pot roast Fri - spaghetti They have fried chicken, every day & another guest said it's the best in Branson. We'll definitely have to try it. Oh... I almost forgot to mention dessert! They usually have coconut cream & chocolate cream, plus a coconut they call Magnolia (similar to pecan, but with coconut instead of pecans). They also have cobblers. Saturday Lunch - my soup and salad were really sad. Potato soup was reheated and had a strange aftertaste. The salad had on the edge iceberg lettuce. Should have sent my food back but we had limited time due to street parking My husband had the pork tenderloin sandwich, it was OK. His side was a baked potato which was cold and had been sitting in the back kitchen for a while. This is the Place to go for breakfast close to the landing. I had the breakfast skillet and the wife had an egg with hash browns. To start off our server was top notch. She took care of everyone and makes it look effortless. She makes you fill like you are at home at grandmas. She isn't very old but she has lots of Love for her job. Visited the Branson Cafe today with my family, and most of us ordered the Mema's Broasted Chicken entree. This is the best fried chicken we've ever had, with thin, crispy skin, and hot, juicy, tender meat! We also tried a cinnamon roll, which is not only massive, but also was delicious! It's been more than a decade since we'd been here, since we live out of state, and the food was as good as we remembered. Our server was great, and the atmosphere has a lot of charm as a historic Branson eatery! We learned this restaurant is owned by three women, and one of the owners, Sandra, took time to chat with us about the history of the restaurant and some of Branson's history in general. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious homestyle food when visiting Branson. read more

The food was ok. The service was outstanding. The ambiance was good. The lighting and all the pictures were ok.

Service was great, even with a packed house. Jordin was an amazing waitress. Food was fresh and delicious. Even my over medium eggs came out perfect. The open kitchen is clean and efficient.
