Great food, small town diner atmosphere and personal service make this a great breakfast destination.

We have 2 small dogs, my husband and father in law were outside while me and my mother in law were shopping, the owner came outside and told my husband that our dogs were allowed in her cafe. Once we came outside he told me and we immediately went and had lunch. Boy I'm glad we did! The food was out of this world! Cafe was clean and inviting. Fast service. This is a must! Meh. It was okay. Food was decent, not bad at all, but not overwhelming. The service was...very "soup-Nazi"-esque. All of the waitresses were older women...like all grandma's. And the one we had was a little crabby. The hostess who seated us was kind of the same. They have a prime location and every table was full the entire time we were there, so maybe they don't feel the need to be super friendly. Parking is scarce, but we lucked out and someone was leaving so we parked right in front of the door. Not a horrible place, and would be fine if you happen to be in downtown and uh try, but I don't think I'd purposely seek it out. read more

Absolutely Horrible. If I could give this place a zero I so would!!!! I had NEVER experienced racism as I did there! I do not recommend, waitress (older lady) was absolutely rude. She kept taking HUGE sighs for any little thing I would ask her such as if I could have French toast as a substitute. To top it off she didn't like that I asked my mom what kind of cheese she wanted on her omelette and sighed and stormed off, rolled her eyes, threw her hands with the notepad, and said she would be back. Keep in mind there were only 3 other small parties there and 2 were leaving. Again, do not recommend would not like anyone else to experience that feeling. Went to the Farm cafe across the street and the staff actually treat you like a human being. read more

Great breakfast place. The food and service were excellent. Opens early, which is nice for us early riser.

None of the servers, cooks, or anything in-between wore masks or followed any safety precautions for the entire pandemic. To top it off, the eggs and hash browns were terrible. Not sure how you screw that up. Would give zero stars if possible. Go to Chik-Fil-A or IHOP. read more

We ended up here with hopes of getting g a nice late Sunday morning breakfast. We were sorely disappointed. 40+ minutes, from the time we sat down till the food was delivered, to get a grilled cheese sandwich and fries, a BLT and fries, and an omelet with toast. The good things is that the server tried to keep us from frustration and even apologized multiple times. I'd skip this joint for sure. read more

Went here for breakfast and we are glad we did! There was no wait, which we found odd because it's a cozy little cafe with great food! The cinnamon roll was AMAZING- I would compare Cinnabon to these rolls. That good. Breakfast had your traditional options and everything was wonderful. This place was recommended and was on one of the busiest streets in Branson. It was also raining so we werent trying to wait outside. Luckily they had a booth open. It was one of their last at bout 730a on a Tuesday morning. Out waitress was all business! There was no grass growing under her feet that day! She grabbed our drinks, dropped the menus and was off. The food was quick considering the amount of people that were there. My eggs and hash were good and the bacon was better than the last place. Crispy, as God intended. Though a little thin and 3 pieces. (the place back home gives you 4 big ones). My brother had the pancakes and he said they weren't good at all and had a slight fish taste..?? His wife was OK with hers as was the recipient of the to go oder we took back. The decor was nice and clean with a quait atmosphere. I felt the prices were reasonable to the food. The breakfast menu has good choices, their cinnamon rolls are amazing. The restaurant seating is thought, if you need to use the restroom you walk through their kitchen, which I thought was a bit uncomfortable. read more

It's genuine, home cooked, southern breakfast. Simple but delicious! My husband genuinely loved the chicken fried steak and the pancakes.

Ordered the Fried Cod with Mac N Cheese, side salad and roll. Our daughter got the Jalapeño Burger and Cottage cheese and my husband got the Triple Club Sandwich with fries. The cod was good but the Mac n cheese was awful. Mac n cheese was dry and roll was dry and cold. The Trie Club my husband enjoyed but it was nothing special. Fries weren't crisp. Our daughter enjoyed the Jalapeño Burger. Our waitress left a lot to be desired. Not ONE smile..not one. She took our drink order and then wanted to take our meal order. We weren't ready just yet and she seemed out off by us wanting to read the menu. She returned to take our order, came back and filled two of the three drinks at the table. our order came out of the kitchen pretty quickly. Still no smile. She delivered our food and was gone. She did not return again except to drop off our ticket. She never even stopped by to see how the food was. As you can see in the picture it was not that busy and there were 3 waitresses on shift. Honestly the worst experience we have ever had. The lady checking people in is rude. It took over an hour for our food to be delivered. We questioned and the waitress stated she didn't have any I trim over the kitchen. We waited an hour to be seated and then now we are at an hour for our food. Zero refills. This is an Old School Cafe. Its the kind you just want to check out and see if they do it like Grandma did. Everything was not perfect, small portions. I had the meatloaf, it didnt have the flavors I like. Brown gravy should not go on meatloaf. Cocoanut pie is said to have been Homemade, Texture was stiff. Meringue was ok, Crust was not good. Excellent cinnamon role to start and a really nice breakfast place, wanted to try the pie but it will have to wait. I had the ham and cheese omelet and a side of biscuits and gravy, omelet was very good and B&G was just ok...no sausage in the gravy. I normally don't like breakfast food but it was the perfect proportion and it was very tasty!!! Only reason I knocked off a star was because my friend found a shell and the service wasn't great. I hate knocking off stars for service- I usually care about the food, but with those two combined I think 4 stars is appropriate. I would eat here again though! I was so excited to have a cozy diner type breakfast in Branson. Their customer service was ok even with the busy tourist crowds. Coffee was great and appreciated the refills. Unfortunately, we both had the 2 eggs breakfast combo, and that was still not even close to decent. The eggs were extremely runny to almost raw after ordering medium hard. Toast (wheat and sourdough) was toasted properly with light butter, but the bread itself tasted like a processed brick. We ended up taking the bread to go and feed some ducks, but even the ducks wouldn't touch it. The saddest part was the hash browns. I'm guessing they were frozen shredded potatoes, then cooked. There wasn't much brown to them and cooked just enough to not be that raw in texture and taste. I asked to use the restroom there and was told to follow the yellow line through the kitchen. The kitchen facility was fairly clean, but cluttered. The bulk canned vegetables in racks and miscellaneous canned ingredients were pretty much a turn off. The only delightful dish that gave me hope was the freshly made cinnamon buns that one of the bakers was still taking off the baking sheet. They had a great aroma throughout the dining area. Overall, I would've liked to have a more home-cooked fresh taste and ingredients, but I guess with the tourist volume, it's just not that easy. read more

Can't say how the food is because they wouldn't serve my wife and I because of my service dog. I'm a disabled combat veteran and I've had my service dag for several years and this is the first time I've been refused service because of her. But it turned out for the best. Popped in for lunch around 2pm and there was still a crowd on saturday in september. The chicken fried steak was good. The dinner salad was a bowl of lettuce and some shredded cheese. Where were the tomatos and onions? They're found on the frito pie along w more lettuce. Just a different take on dishes in a different area. Service was friendly and helpful. We visited here twice during our visit to Branson. Good home cooked style meals with reasonable prices & fast, friendly service. On our first trip for lunch I ordered a tuna salad sandwich with homemade chips. It was excellent. My husband ordered the special- red beans and rice. It was very tasty with chunks of chicken. Our second trip was for breakfast. My veggie & cheese omelet with hash browns was very good. I loved the addition of zucchini. We would recommend stopping here for a quick meal! read more

Very crowded. Very unorganized. Rude waitstaff. Very abrupt and not pleasant. Menu was super limited. No offer or suggestions. No conversation from wait staff at all. All of them looked to hate their job and just trying to see who could be the most surly. Like it was a competition. No team work at all. the management was invisible. Could have been great with just one person running around like they care. Ordered coffee after about 10 mins waiting. Food order was taken about 10 more minutes past that. Now food. That didn't come out for about 45 mins. Kitchen was obviously backed up. Because it was not a complicated order and food was not overly warm. Just again very unorganized. Food was edible good flavor. After a liberal dosing of salt and pepper. Eggs cooked perfect biscuit fluffy and not dry. Potatoes were decent. Nicely seasoned. The sausage gravy was okay. Never brought the check went to front desk to pay and once again rude, surly, man I hate people, attitude. Paid the bill. Nothing stands out to recommend this place to anyone. Cafe was quaint but breakfast was ok and price reasonable, I ordered ham steak and eggs which I asked for soft scramble but they came out dry , basically right out the barn kitchen. Ham steak big as the plate and old school apple butter , I didn't taste others said it was good , I'll stick to jelly . And I left with one of their huge cinnamon rolls and coconut pie . This place is rather blah. The cafe is tiny and crammed. The waitress was rude. We stopped in at 11:30am because they advertise "breakfast all day" but when we sat down, they state no pancakes or French toast after 11. My daughter just wanted pancakes. The fountain drinks were flat. Food came out quickly, but the hash browns were greasy and didn't have any flavor. Grilled cheese was gross and nothing special - one piece of American cheese between 2 pieces of white bread. Omelette was ok. Everything needed salt. No refills on drinks and waitress seemed put out and was huffy when I politely requested some tea. I wouldn't eat here again. read more
