    Cinnamon Roll
    Lindsay W.

This place is packed on a Sunday morning. Definitely plan for parking a block or so away. There is a line where your order and then grab a seat inside or outside. They have brunch options on the weekend too. We enjoyed the Iced strawberry matcha and cinnamon roll. Splitting the cinnamon roll is recommended; warm and with cream cheese frosting. I want to try the quiche next time and maybe come in on a weekday when it is a little less busy.

Extremely nice coffee shop located in upper state. They serve mud water. The service is quick and nice. They great you right when you walk in. I had the honey lavender latter with oat milk which was a treat. There is plenty of seating and parking. I can't wait to return to try more items on their menu!

I really enjoy the ambience here. It's a large, spacious café with comfortable booth seating and both indoor and outdoor options. The service was good as well. I ordered the mint cold brew with muddled mint. The coffee itself was excellent, but the drink was disappointing in terms of the mint component. There was very little mint, so it didn't really come across as a true muddled mint beverage. The flavor was still pleasant, just not as mint-forward as expected. Overall, this place has some of the best atmosphere of any coffee shop in Santa Barbara.

This place is great! Great vibes and atmosphere. This is the sister location to the restaurant in Carp. The patio is fantastic. It's definitely the spot for brunch. The food is delicious. The breakfast sandwich was amazing. The cinnamon roll was fantastic. It looks delicious as much as it tastes. There are many pastry, food, and coffee options available The staff are super friendly and helpful if you need any help. Park on the street. It's easier. A lovely spot for a quiet breakfast or lunch They keep it simple with the menu and service style yet provides a good experience Most their tables are outside what makes their patio dog friendly Great addition to uptown

Brass Bird Coffee & Kitchen just opened and it did not disappoint! It's exactly what we needed in the uptown area. I stopped by on Saturday, but they were closed. Just be aware they close around 3pm. I came back on Sunday morning and there was a line out the door. Expect a wait time of about 15-20 minutes if you're coming on the weekend. Don't worry because there's plenty of seating! Just be patient. The staff was friendly and very attentive. I appreciate that they offered menus and samples of their blueberry muffin while waiting in line. They were hustling! I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was delicious. Definitely a 10/10 and the salsa on the side was perfect. For my beverage, I went with a MudWtr latte. It's made with lion's mane, Chaga, reishi, chai spices, black tea, cocoa, maple, vanilla + steamed milk. This drink is cozy, earthy, and is giving elevated energy without the jitters. And don't even get me started on the pastry case! Endless choices such as croissants, muffins, quiche, cookies, cruffins, danishes... basically everything your morning sweet dreams are made of. I held back on ordering a sweet treat this visit. I was in the mood for a savory meal. There's limited parking available in the lot, but you can also find parking on the street or neighborhood. you're looking for a new hot spot, this is it!

New, fresh and great atmosphere. Seating inside and out. A great variety of menu items. Coffee, bakery, breakfast, and lunch. Weekend, so it was busy; line out the door. But, there was plenty of staff, friendly and quite efficient considering they have only been open for one week. We had coffee drinks and breakfast burrito to go. Both were delicious. When waiting I saw other food come out and will come back to try breakfast sandwich. I love a good breakfast sandwich and it really looked good. Stayed tuned, and give this new coffee, kitchen a try.

I was over the moon to hear Brass Bird was opening in Santa Barbara. Their carpinteria location is always a favorite of my family. There is a parking lot but fills quickly. Thankfully there is street parking all around. Despite the outside appearance there is a ton of seating inside and outside. The coffee drinks are fantastic! My vanilla oat latte was perfection as usual. The quiche is flavorful and comes with a small side salad. My boys inhaled their almond croissants. Last but not least, despite being open for only three days, the staff are so friendly and welcoming! Lots of helping hands and big smiles. Check this place out!

Yes! Brass Bird in SB. Cinnimon Roll Latte tastes just like what you imagine! And blueberry ricotta muffin. :-) I wanted to try so much more but i will be back plenty more times!! Its a busy place. I had to find street parking. And when i left the line was out the door. Cant wait to try a breakfast and lunch entree.

Came in when they closed but they still allowed us to order cold brews and some pastries. I've tried the lucky llama in carpinteria but have never tried brass bird. I will say I am liking brass birds coffee better than lucky llama. Initially the cold brew had a slight almond, toffee and hint of coco note and also had a smoothness to it. The brown butter chocolate chip cookie was good, but they had some salt on it which I didn't like. But the cookie did taste good, it was also soft and chewy. To me the croissant was okay, but the wife seemed the like it. Next time I want to order the minted cold brew, because I'm curious if it's going to taste similar to Philz coffee.

    Chicken Pesto sandwich

Everything I look for in a cinnamon roll omg. Perfectly sweet with cream cheese frosting, moist inside but not drenched. It was delicious. The chicken pesto sandwich was just okay in my opinion, but I'd certainly come back here to try more items from the menu. Plenty of seating outside and some inside, with a pleasant atmosphere and kind staff.

Food 10/10 Drinks 10/10 Ambience 10/10 Love the fire place featured and the decor is classic vibe! Plates are big and the Macha is ceremonial grade!!! Love me a good macha! Service 10/10!!! Found a new hang out spot!

    Hard-scrambled eggs
    Carmen W.

The service and ambience were great. The problems were behind the kitchen door. My "soft-scrambled eggs with herbs and sourdough toast" (as listed on the menu) were disappointments. The eggs were hammered, and the bread was not toasted. It had been brushed with a little oil and briefly heated on the grill, meaning that when it got to me it was stiff on the outside and cold and very chewy on the inside. This isn't the cook having a bad day. These are choices.

    Fruit and cheese danish, DELICIOUS.

My date, a steak professional and strict carnivore, rated it "good." I, on the other hand, thought it was super delicious! The booth seating was comfortable, too. Service was great overall--except that we were given someone else's tab. Fortunately, the total was about the same as what our steak dinner would have cost, so I didn't realize there was a mistake until I got home. That's when things got a little frustrating. I tried calling the restaurant several times to correct the error, but no one ever picked up. By late morning the next day, I finally got through, and a woman told me the manager would call me at noon to help sort things out. Unfortunately, noon came and went, and I never heard from him. I'm curious whether my message actually got through and whether the manager will eventually call me. Fortunately, I'm local, so I'll stop by the restaurant on my evening walk and take care of it in person. Overall, I enjoyed the dinner and would happily go back--but if you need to reach them, don't rely on the phone!

My sister's dog enjoyed brunch from the comfort of his stroller My husband got his usual cold brew and I got a spring water. We shared the avocado toast with egg and bacon added, plus a side of potatoes. The avocado smash was good and the egg was cooked perfectly, but the bread was a little dense for me. Nuzz really enjoyed the bacon. The POTATOES though!! So good. Thinly sliced, thicker than a potato chip, perfectly salted and super crispy. The side portion was generous too. Our total was about $53 for the avocado toast with add-ons, potatoes, cold brew, water and tip. I'm glad we shared because that felt pretty steep for one breakfast! And for my IBS friends Two separate, private all-gender bathrooms with actual doors. No stalls. We love to see it. Overall, cute place, good food and a different brunch experience. Nothing was bad at all, but for the price, I probably wouldn't rush back.

SCORE 0 HEALTH HAZARD 10…read more This is our third time we've had issues with the staff. Today is our last time going here. There was only one person in line and 4 staff members behind the counter standing around talking to each other. Nobody greeted us or asked for our bakery order. When I said excuse me to a dirty blond girl she replied "WHAT!" and continued to joke with a co worker. When the cashier finished with their customer they walked away and even though they saw we were waiting to be helped. I looked around and saw nobody helping seated customers or us at the bakery counter. Finally, the dirty blonde ask what we need and my response was "WHAT" ?! At this point we should have left and gone to Lilac Patisserie however we proceeded to give her our order. I told another customer behind us that rudeness seems to be the norm, and she agreed. I paid for our bakery items and asked an older woman scrolling on her phone if we could have a bag for all of our boxed treats. She grabbed a handful of bags and threw them at me from across the counter. We were appalled and left. We found a place to sit on State street to eat our treats and my daughter said she didn't want her Meringue because the dirty blonde girl used the back of her ungloved hand to repeatedly wipe her nose. We threw all $50 worth of baked goods in the trash. Yes, I should have gone back and complained I'm had everything refunded but it was Mother's Day and we didn't want anything more to do with this establishment. It was also an epiphany that they don't treat everyone this way. It could be you next time. Please go somewhere else. We will never go to anywhere but Lilac Patisserie which is to the left as you exit Andersons, past the stop light. You will definitely get your money's worth and the staff is friendly, professional, and greet you immediately as you reach the counter.
