A lovely spot for a quiet breakfast or lunch They keep it simple with the menu and service style yet provides a good experience Most their tables are outside what makes their patio dog friendly Great addition to uptown

Brass Bird Coffee & Kitchen just opened and it did not disappoint! It's exactly what we needed in the uptown area. I stopped by on Saturday, but they were closed. Just be aware they close around 3pm. I came back on Sunday morning and there was a line out the door. Expect a wait time of about 15-20 minutes if you're coming on the weekend. Don't worry because there's plenty of seating! Just be patient. The staff was friendly and very attentive. I appreciate that they offered menus and samples of their blueberry muffin while waiting in line. They were hustling! I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was delicious. Definitely a 10/10 and the salsa on the side was perfect. For my beverage, I went with a MudWtr latte. It's made with lion's mane, Chaga, reishi, chai spices, black tea, cocoa, maple, vanilla + steamed milk. This drink is cozy, earthy, and is giving elevated energy without the jitters. And don't even get me started on the pastry case! Endless choices such as croissants, muffins, quiche, cookies, cruffins, danishes... basically everything your morning sweet dreams are made of. I held back on ordering a sweet treat this visit. I was in the mood for a savory meal. There's limited parking available in the lot, but you can also find parking on the street or neighborhood. you're looking for a new hot spot, this is it!

Came in when they closed but they still allowed us to order cold brews and some pastries. I've tried the lucky llama in carpinteria but have never tried brass bird. I will say I am liking brass birds coffee better than lucky llama. Initially the cold brew had a slight almond, toffee and hint of coco note and also had a smoothness to it. The brown butter chocolate chip cookie was good, but they had some salt on it which I didn't like. But the cookie did taste good, it was also soft and chewy. To me the croissant was okay, but the wife seemed the like it. Next time I want to order the minted cold brew, because I'm curious if it's going to taste similar to Philz coffee.

Everything I look for in a cinnamon roll omg. Perfectly sweet with cream cheese frosting, moist inside but not drenched. It was delicious. The chicken pesto sandwich was just okay in my opinion, but I'd certainly come back here to try more items from the menu. Plenty of seating outside and some inside, with a pleasant atmosphere and kind staff.

New, fresh and great atmosphere. Seating inside and out. A great variety of menu items. Coffee, bakery, breakfast, and lunch. Weekend, so it was busy; line out the door. But, there was plenty of staff, friendly and quite efficient considering they have only been open for one week. We had coffee drinks and breakfast burrito to go. Both were delicious. When waiting I saw other food come out and will come back to try breakfast sandwich. I love a good breakfast sandwich and it really looked good. Stayed tuned, and give this new coffee, kitchen a try.

Yes! Brass Bird in SB. Cinnimon Roll Latte tastes just like what you imagine! And blueberry ricotta muffin. :-) I wanted to try so much more but i will be back plenty more times!! Its a busy place. I had to find street parking. And when i left the line was out the door. Cant wait to try a breakfast and lunch entree.

I was over the moon to hear Brass Bird was opening in Santa Barbara. Their carpinteria location is always a favorite of my family. There is a parking lot but fills quickly. Thankfully there is street parking all around. Despite the outside appearance there is a ton of seating inside and outside. The coffee drinks are fantastic! My vanilla oat latte was perfection as usual. The quiche is flavorful and comes with a small side salad. My boys inhaled their almond croissants. Last but not least, despite being open for only three days, the staff are so friendly and welcoming! Lots of helping hands and big smiles. Check this place out!

Food 10/10 Drinks 10/10 Ambience 10/10 Love the fire place featured and the decor is classic vibe! Plates are big and the Macha is ceremonial grade!!! Love me a good macha! Service 10/10!!! Found a new hang out spot!

The service and ambience were great. The problems were behind the kitchen door. My "soft-scrambled eggs with herbs and sourdough toast" (as listed on the menu) were disappointments. The eggs were hammered, and the bread was not toasted. It had been brushed with a little oil and briefly heated on the grill, meaning that when it got to me it was stiff on the outside and cold and very chewy on the inside. This isn't the cook having a bad day. These are choices.

    Fruit and cheese danish, DELICIOUS.

Brass Bird is a cute brunch spot in Santa Barbara. I tried the cinnamon roll, breakfast sandwich and burrito which were all very tasty! Would come back here again when I'm in the area.

This was my first stop of the morning and I was hungry and didn't want to wait too long anywhere else. Therefore, I stumbled upon this cafe which was not crowded. Their menu is diverse, they include dessert, lunch, alcoholic drinks, etc. I ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage: W/GRILLED POTATOES, MAC & CHEESE, SCRAMBLED EGG & SAUSAGE Very flavorful, unique and the mac & cheese was a new one to me. A high carb burrito to get me going while I continued to explore downtown SB. 5/5 I also ordered an orange juice, really delicious and fresh. 5/5 loved it. I sat facing the beach and it was very relaxing. I enjoyed my breakfast here and overall a nice experience.

He is not a big seafood guy, and when you're by the water, it feels like every restaurant usually specializes in seafood. Happy Cat Eats had a chicken sandwich that looked really appealing to him. After we got our food from the wharf, we drove over and sat at their outdoor tables while we waited for his order. The chicken sandwich was DELICIOUS. I actually liked it a little more than my own food and almost traded with him. Too bad he doesn't like clam chowder! The onion rings he ordered were just as good. The tempura batter was a 10/10. It wasn't oily at all, which is the key to a good tempura fry. We loved the weather, and all the tables had cover, which made it even better. It was a beautiful day made even better by their food.

My go to's are the Canon Capicola Club and The Goodland club. Highly recommend adding the Crispy Capicola to your sandwich. Such a great add on and gives it a nice crispy texture like potato chips. The sandwiches are more than filling and made with top quality ingredients. On my latest visit, I ordered the Smytty Burger. It was only $8.95 for their daily special. I asked for the chorizo aioli on the side, because I like to control spreads on my burger. Unfortunately, they still added the chorizo aioli on my burger and I was too hungry to let them know. I managed to scrape it off with a knife. The burger was good, but the buns were cold. It would have been nice if they had toasted them. Aside from the mishap, the burger did its thing and my tummy was satisfied. Overall, the sandwiches are what you come for! They're always delicious and prepared perfectly. Staff is always friendly here and the ambiance is casual and welcoming.

The coleslaw doesn't make the sandwich too soggy as the bread is thick enough to soak up any extra sauciness. Pastrami Dip: The au jus is rich and flavorful, infused with the essence of pastrami. I would say this is good to share as well if you run into parts of your sandwich that are bit harder. Corned Beef: A little bit tough for my personal taste but also a good pick if you prefer to have a meal that isn't as rich. Pastrami & Cheese: If plain pastrami on rye isn't enough for you, the cheese does make a huge difference. The pastrami is tender and juicy and the cheese just amplifies the overall flavor, adding to the overall mouthfeel. This one is the winner in my book! Service is fast and efficient. No frills. However, it's a good idea to know what you want beforehand because I completely missed that there was the option to buy a half instead of a full sandwich and if you don't specify you get a full sandwich. We had a lot of leftovers. The interior is cozy - I wouldn't bring a party of ten expecting to all be able to sit together. It's got more of an old-school vibe with it's layout and decor. There's a photo of Guy Fieri as Norton's was featured on Triple D. It's hard enough to get a good pastrami sandwich so Norton's is not one to miss!
