Extensive selection of beer and wine, really , pages and pages to choose from. Excellent food. Cheese and charcuterie selection is nice, delicious pizza's. Boom boom shrimp and seared scallops are both a favorite of mine. I've tried most everything on the menu and I have yet to dislike anything I've ordered. Friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff. Definitely the best dining option in Lenox. The place is small and I believe they do not take reservations for party's under 6 so come early if possible. read more

From what we were told Brava is open later than other places in Lennox and because it is a small, intimate restaurant it does fill up and can be loud from all the conversation around. This is my favorite restaurant. It's a tapas and wine bar. The wine list is terrific, and the staff give great recommendations. It's small, but somehow it's almost always possible to squeeze in and get a seat. The staff are friendly and warm, and are attentive about dietary issues such as being gluten-free. For those of us who eat gluten, the pizza is amazing. It's baked in a brick oven, leaving the crust with a delicious, smoky tang. The patatas bravas also stand out-- smoky, spicy potatoes that go very well with the delicious salads and marinated anchovies, always on the menu. read more

We stumbled across this gem while looking for a restaurant in the area that was OPEN ON MONDAY!! What a lucky find. We sat at the bar and found the staff helpful and encouraged us to try some wines that were unfamiliar. The tapas were outstanding. Each better than the first. Outrageous seared scallops!! The most unexpected flavor sensation was dessert, not your granny's bread pudding. Corn and bacon with whipped cream?? Try it if you're lucky enough to be there on a night it's served. Food menu is not extensive but it's familiarly creative. Beer menu is gigantic, tho' they were out of two beers we asked about, so perhaps looks are deceiving. From their delicious array of meats and cheeses (I personally loved the 'summer snow' sheep cheese) to their yummy raspberry mousse with fresh raspberries, their extensive menu is nothing short of spectacular for such a small restaurant. Last Thursday we were searching one night for late-night dining, and two large restaurants in Stockbridge had already closed their kitchens. We drove up to Lenox and found Brava, and we were delighted with the experience -- and the fact that the kitchen was open until at least midnight. The dining area is not large, and so on a busier night getting a seat might be a problem, but we got a table right away. When nothing else is open you are happy to get any food, but Brava's was so good that it would be worth going back for. Two of us got appetizers stuffed with beef and bacon, while I got a personal sized salami pizza, all delicious. And the selection of beer was extraordinary, with a nice variety of strengths and colors. Brava is well worth a visit no matter what time you arrive. read more

The best tapas I've had in a long time! The restaurant is small but lively. The food menu is divided into cold plates, hot plates, crostini and charcuterie. The wine and beer list is extensive so you are sure to find something to tickle your fancy. I loved the mushroom, goat cheese and fig jam crostini and the calamari was the best I've ever had. I finished with the grilled romaine, manchego and anchovies and from the first to the last bite my dinner was flavorful and bright. We have lived in the area for years and never realized this place was here. They have an amazing selection of beer and wine of which the staff is very knowledgable. The menu consists of platters, salads, tapas, small pizzas and deserts. There is a wide variety so there should be something for everyone. We had a cheese and meat platter which was excellent. We had order it with prosciutto but there was a problem with their meat slicer, so they asked us to select something else which we did. Later on, they got the slicer fixed, and brought us some prosciutto as well. We ordered a variety of tapas as well as a pesto pizza. All were excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive with several people made sure our needs were met. We plan on visiting again. read more

To say that I was pleasantly surprised by this phenomenal restaurant is an understatement. Coming from the NYC/NJ metro area, where there are enumerable food choices, it's hard to be incredibly impressed. But at Brava I was. We ordered Batatas Bravas, Meatballs, Mushroom Goat Cheese, Walnuts, Fig Jam Bruschetta (incredible), sea salt, butter and bread (surreal), the Kale Salad and Salami Cherry Pepper Pizza. Nearly every single tapas was out-of-bounds good. The pizza, though, wasn't the best. However, the other flavorful and perfectly prepared dishes certainly made up for it. If you're visiting the Berkshires, you should definitely make time to stop here. And if you live in the Berkshires, consider yourself lucky. read more

After reading some good reviews, we were excited to try Brava's for a late dinner and what sounded like a great beer selection. The place was crowded but we were greeted and seated right away. We made our selection from the tapas section. We started with antipasto which was amazing, but it went down hill from there. Another couple had arrived 15 min after us and ordered the same exact things we did -- this I know because the food should have gone to our table, not theirs. Not the customers fault, so of course we didn't say anything. The couple next to us finished what would have been our food before we finally got ours -- which was cold. Hot tomato sauce was poured over cold meatballs. We also got the potato dish, which it would have been nice if they mentioned it was extremely spicy. Couldn't even finish it -- even my boyfriend who loves hot foods. Then we were waiting for our pizza, the special they had for the night -- which surprisingly enough the table next to us again ordered the same thing. And again, were served before us. So we waited and waited and were ignored and ignored... we asked about our pizza and were told that they didn't bring it out because the table was too small. So we organized the plates, made room -- still no pizza. After waiting over an hour for this pizza, the waitress comes over to tell us they "burnt" our pizza and were now making us another. We declined the pizza and just asked for our check. The waitress did have plenty of time to catch up with some friends that came in, which apparently was more important than the customer. Really disappointed and never going back there again. And suggest you don't go there either. A really cute downtown in Lenox, so there are plenty of other places to choose from to eat -- we wish we had done just that. read more

Decent but not as great as decribed buy other reviewers. We ordered several plates such as: lamb chops with mint, the meat was moist but they weren't warm at all, patatas brava really good, bruschetta with mozzarella, tomato and basil: the mozzarella was not real mozzarella and the pesto sauce was too garlicky. I'm Italian and I'm very picky when it comes to mozzarella. This I can tell what they served is what we called in Italy Scamorza. We had a pizza Margherita too doughy and again the mozzarella wasn't real, but the crust was puffy and I liked it. Honestly that wasn't worth it $15 especially if one compares that with the one served at Babbo in Boston, which is as good as in Italy and costs $10. We also had marinated olive, yummy, bread and butter and a tomato soup that I really enjoy. I was positively surprised buy the list of their beers and wines. Overall the dinner was ok but not worth it $100! read more

Welcome to the neighborhood! Brava is a great place to chill out with friends. I loved the vibe. The staff are all so friendly and knowledgeable about the wine. It's fun to have people to chat with that really appreciate good wine. They have an impressive number of wines by the glass and beers on tap plus great food. The prices are really fair for such great food and drinks. I've been there twice since I found it last week. I loved the arugula, prosciutto, ricotta, mozz & onion pizza. I've also tried the Greek salad, grilled romaine and sampled many of the excellent cheeses. I'll be back regularly for sure! For the suggestion box: I'd love to see some quince paste, honey or grapes on the cheese plate depending on the cheeses selected. read more
