OMG So good I went there with my daughter for our first out of the house dinner and returned the next week. I have always loved their food and it has remained consistently tasty along with a great service experience. I'm a big guy but the portions were so big that I always have leftovers. Is a great time to go to, during the quarantine., Because you have a lot more room to yourself and it's quieter. I don't mean to say that it's not a pleasant place when it's full but it's a different experience and I liked it. I especially loved the pork chops. I remember to get an extra one even though it was already going to be too much food because it's a great deal, too. Gee. I'm not quite sure what more to say other than it is as good as I remembered it. It remains an excellent place to enjoy a nice meal and its very easy to get in and out of with ample parking. Let me start by saying if our server had a cognitive disability, I apologize. This did not appear to be the case, so my review is based on the assumption that was not the case. His name is Colin and if you get him as a server, based on this experience, I would avoid if possible. We all, all six of us, got the lunch special. Yes, there were six people but all got the same thing. He put in every order as a side salad (or soup) and a full lunch meal. He didn't know the differences between the salads. He came back MULTIPLE times to ask what we ordered. Then to top it all off, he had to "leave because he was sick". So he was poorly serving us all, he could have COVID and came to work despite that. The Italian wedding soup was ok - salty, weak broth. Waited twenty minutes for my food to be brought to me as well. And I arrived 10 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. While our planned event dinner fell through as a large portion of our out-of-town guests now cannot attend due to a Hurricane, I would highly recommend considering the Bravo Restaurant at 3000 Hayden Rd in Columbus for your events. They have a nice menu to select from and the Event Coordinator was most helpful and a pleasure to work with. My wife and I celebrated our 1 year dating anniversary at this restaurant back when we were still students. 10 years later, when I suggested that we eat here again for old times sake, she'd forgotten that this Bravo location even existed! That basically sums up my thoughts on this restaurant: unmemorable. Bravo has decent food, decent service, and the atmosphere is nice. It's good, but not great... With that said, I have some concerns for Bravo's value proposition. The food is about as good as Olive Garden. As in, not as good as non-chain Italian restaurants like Moretti's or upscale Italian restaurants like Martini. But unlike Olive Garden, salad costs extra at Bravo. And although it's a little more expensive, the food at Brio (Bravo's corporate sibling) has been consistently better in my experience. So if I wanted affordable Italian, I would go to Olive Garden. If I wanted really good Italian, I would go somewhere that costs a bit more but is clearly better like Brio, Martini, Marcella's, Moretti's, etc... These issues combined makes it difficult for me to recommend Bravo over all the other Italian dining options in town. It's not bad. It just doesn't stand out in a competitive market. read more

We were actually heading somewhere else and I saw Bravo up on the hill so I asked my lovely friend Laura "how about Bravo?" She said she hasn't been for awhile so let's go. We were seated within minutes at a nice comfortable table and were immediately asked if we would like a drink by the hostess. Our server was over next with the yummy bread and oil to ask we wanted appetizers. Lobster bisque was so good. Laura got a salad which she also enjoyed. As for the entrees I got the Shrimp Fra Diavolo and She the Chicken Marsala. We shared and both really enjoyed our meals. I have known about Bravo for quite some time now. Although not so much about this particular location. Italian has always been a long time favorite for and when I stumble across a new place I always 'break my neck' to go there. I have been to three of their locations in Ohio. Two in the greater Columbus area and one in Cleveland. Their food has never let me down. Their wedding soup has been a game winner for me as not many places seem to offer the designer soup! Unfortunately, when it comes to Italian I am picky. I am no fan of Alfredo sauce, and I don't stray far from my favorite upon every visit. With that being said I cannot speak to a lot on the menu, but what I can say is the experience, staff, food I have had, atmosphere, and price have always been pleasant. read more

I placed an order for spaghetti Bolognese and a house salad for delivery. What showed up at my door was absolutely appalling. The greasy spaghetti Bolognese had almost no sauce on it and the salad showed up hot and wilted because they were too stupid to put it in a separate bag and placed it right on top of the hot spaghetti. I called the restaurant and I was directed to call DoorDash to get a refund. When I called DoorDash, it was nothing but a hassle. Also, the person at the restaurant who answered the phone did not even have the phone number for DoorDash customer service, although they couldn't wait to tell me that they would not be able to help me and rush me off the phone. Calling this a bad experience with poor customer service doesn't even begin to cover it after waiting an hour for delivery and they are less than 10 minutes from my house. read more

I used to love this place. Great food, great wine and pretty patio. Tonight my mom and I decided to have dinner here because they have a nice patio. The service was slow. Was at least 10 to 15 minutes before we even seen a server. Then getting our drinks took more time than it should. We ordered the combination meal which included soup (you have to get the lobster bisque) and a salad along with a choice of two dinner plates. I got the lasagne and Pasta Bravo. The lasagne was barely warm and very bland. For an Italian place you would expect much better. The Pasta Bravo was better, with more flavor. Next time I'm doing just a soup and salad. The best thing about BRAVO is the kids menu. My kid has always been a bit of a foodie and I get really frustrated going to restaurants (especially Italian and seafood) and their kids menu consists of chicken fingers, cheese pizza, and a hamburger. This place has a great kids menu with reasonable prices. Not only was there a Create your own pasta option but they also offered lasagna, chicken parmigiana and grilled salmon (among others). I was really impressed to see those offered. The serving size for kids was reasonable as well and my kid was satisfied. I ordered the chicken scaloppine. It was good but not really like any scaloppine I'd had before. The feta was a nice touch as well as using shiitake mushrooms but I only counted about 4 capers and the tangy lemony flavor was missing. I'll definitely try this place again because of their kids menu and keep trying adult dishes. Service was quick and attentive and everyone was very friendly. read more

5 STARS! We made reservations and came here for Valentine's Day, expecting to wait awhile for our food given that it's such a high volume day for restaurants. We got our drinks and bread soon after that. No lie, we each had probably 2 slices of bread and our food was already out. It was the fastest I have ever received food, period, yet alone on one of the busiest nights of the year. I was VERY impressed. I still can't believe we got our food that fast. I think we were in and out in under 45 minutes. WOW I had the pasta woozie and my gf had the shrimp scampi. I tried hers and it was PHENOMENAL. I can be picky about my shrimp scampi and it can be hit or miss because of that but this was on the spot! I wish I could have traded with her :) I will admit, I had been to other Bravo locations for work lunches and left unimpressed, but this visit alone restored my faith in Bravo and we will definitely be back in the summer to sit on the patio and visit again! read more

My son and daughter brought me here for my birthday and I ordered pasta woozie. When it was put in front of me, it looked like it had been sitting for a while. I stirred it to make it look better. The chicken that was on it had to be Tyson grilled chicken. It was absolutely tasteless! My daughter for pasta Brio and her dish was as tasteless as mine. Atmosphere 5/5 Coming to Bravo's is definitely an indulgence. I love the interior - the arches, the lighting, the sophisticated ambience. It's a sweet, affordable getaway from the day. Food 3/5 Tbh pasta is pretty average. Usually get a chopped salad and pasta diablo with chicken or shrimp. Can't make it at home but also am not willing to pay upwards of $12 for it. They do have a decent lunch special though. Dessert 5/5 Just got their warm berry cake with ice cream today. Would come back just for this! Also good coffee. Service 5/5 Because the food was quite average and we sent one of the pastas back, the server was very generous and didn't charge us for dessert. They really took care of us. We came here for a business dinner planned out for us. We had a very large group and they had the back room reserved for us. They staff were prompt in seating us and serving us wine (pre-selected by our company) and gave us the pre-fixed menu. I, always being the difficult one, wanted to see the wine menu and needed a vegetarian option menu. The wine list had a really good selection and I was contented with my Malbec. As for vegetarian options I only found a few and found them to be typical and uninteresting - eggplant parm and pasta with spinach and sundried tomatoes. They brought out our salads and they were so dreary. Iceberg lettuce - really? I can't believe any restaurant serves this anymore. And I also opted for the pasta and found that to be as expected boring. As I looked around at the plates my associates had I saw beautifully grilled asparagus, sweet potatoes, etc. You can't be more creative for us vegetarians?? I asked someone how their salmon was and got a ho-hum look and statement that is was dry so I wasn't too envious anymore. Though I will say the dessert was awesome, but they are lacking on their dessert wines. My server was John and he was exceptionally great, very polite, very outgoing. However with that being said, whether it was the to-go servers or whoever, working in a tank top of some sort. This place seems more upheld than this i was very disappointed to see the full kitchen staff wearing their full chef jackets and masks the entire time while the girls goofed off with their masks down and on their cell phones like it was some sort of closed kitchen.
