Food and service were not nearly what I expected. The restaurant itself was nice enough. The wait for the bread we ordered was about 15 minutes. Bravo sends complimentary bread to the table. If I'd have known that I wouldn't have wasted $4.50 on the crappy toasted "Bravo bread" which was dry, stale, Italian bread cut into 4 awkwardly large chunks and toasted on one side. The pasta dishes clearly sat waiting to be brought out much too long. The tops of the noodles had all hardened under the heat lamp. Our waiter Troy, had difficulty bringing out a Sierra Mist . He said he had to change it which we understood. That apparently was a lie, my daughter ordered a Sierra Mist shortly afterwards which came out as sparkling water. No offer to get us something different when told however. When the order came out no one offered fresh ground pepper or Parmesan cheese. In fact no one asked us about our meal ever. No checking in after dropping the food off even though it was food runners and not our waiter who brought everything, no asking how everything was afterwards either. I feel generous giving them 2 stars. Mostly I gave 2 stars instead of one because while no one apologized for not getting my little girl a drink, at least they didn't ask me to pay for the sprite we never got. The food wasn't bad, if it would've been fresh it would've been pretty tasty. I think it's possible to have a great dining experience at Bravo. Troy seemed to be the exception. My husband and I recently decided to make use of one of the many offers/coupons Bravo is always sending me and go out for a rare date night. Upon arriving, the hostess was wiping down tables and we had to wait for a bit for her to come up to the hostess stand. She was kind and told us what the wait time would be and also offered a no wait option in the bar area which we accepted. We were not given any menus, so after waiting for another 5 minutes, I went back up to the hostess stand to ask for some but there wasn't anyone in sight so I helped myself to a couple. After browsing the menu and then waiting for at least 10 min, a harried waiter walked by and brusquely said, "It will be at least another 10-15 minutes before I can get to you." No greeting or apology or anything. I understand being understaffed, overworked, etc, but this is unacceptable treatment of customers in any situation. After that, we decided we were not welcome ay this establishment and took our business elsewhere. We will not be quick to choose Bravo when looking for another dinner out anytime soon. The chef , recipes changed about 7 or more years ago. It went from being a great Italian Restaurant , to inedible. I went here shortly after the pandemic when things started opening up . It was horrific. I got coupons for my birthday so years later I went back today. It was horrific again. The food is just horrible crap. The eggplant parm is tasteless, and the pasta drenched in butter over cooked. I asked for plain pasta and got thick squigly egg noodles . The type you use for casseroles or soup I got overcooked long egg noodles horrible . The sauce is inedible and horrible tasteless with lumpy onions . One of the best Chicken Parmesans I have ever had! Plus, my friend and I walked in at 9pm (an hour before closing) and our waiter was awesome, cheerful, didn't rush us and even offered dessert. Bravo Italian is usually good and reliable for both service and meal. That wasn't the case with my pickup order today. Parked at curbside and called in. Over 20 minutes later, no ome from the staff appeared eith my order. Ended up going inside to a small scene of chaos. Poor manager was trying to get both pickup and curbside orders organized and sent out, with a half dozen other customers waiting for their food. He apologized for the delay and issued a refund. After bringing my order home, I saw this.. which doesn't look lile any chicken parmesan that I have ever eaten at this restaurant, or its West Chester location. Never even cooked a chicken parmesan that had this same color. Not to mention the breading was both undercooked and overcooked (how I can't even guess) on different "chicken" breasts. At least the pasta was good. Hoping that this was an isolated anomaly as I have had many meals here before that was both delicious and on time. Edit: Don't order the spinach artichoke dip. Mine was both cold and rancid. I literally had to spit it out and wash my mouth out. Changing my score from 2 to 1. 2nd Edit: Had to throw out the spaghetti. I literally ended up throwing the entire meal out because it tasted rancid or worse. I ended up paying $5 tip for a meal I couldn't eat. A-okay with a dash of meh. Some food is quite good, but it's very hit-and-miss. The chicken alfredo pasta was a complete strike-out. However, the bread is shockingly, can't-eat-just-one-piece- good! We have been to this restaurant twice, and will not return. The service is good, the food tasty enough (for boxed pasta - Barillo pasta I believe). But is is perhaps the worst managed place we've been to in a while. At tonight's visit, there were only two or three other tables occupied, and there were many staff members standing around. We were seated right in the middle of three unbussed tables. (By the end of the meal, one of them still had not been touched.) Our seats were covered in grease - I had to use a napkin to wipe them down. We ordered two drinks from the bar. Both drinks were missing ingredients - one was missing the promised schnapps and the other (a sangria) was missing all of the fruit. We were told the drinks would be remade. They were not. Instead, the manager (who I learned made the drinks) dropped off some schnapps in a glass. Apparently I was to mix my own drink. When I asked about the sangria, he replied, "Oh, you're missing the garnish? Do you want the garnish? I'll go get you some strawberries if that will make you happy." He rudely cut off anything else I had to say and ran off. He eventually dropped off some fruit and ran. Later, he tried to take our glass and replace it with a "fresh batch" - we declined. He kept grabbing at it, but I took it back and set it at the table. For boxed pasta, dirty dining room and rude manager we were charged $140. We tipped in cash (to be sure the server got the tip) and left. On the way home my son became ill in the car. read more

We love the food and service. My wife asks for veal Marsala which isn't on the menu and there is no hesitation in filling the order. The menu is also diverse fulfilling many needs. The next issue is very specific. I am a Veteran and asked about military discounts. The folks in carry out said they do have a discount. This was very enabling as I had not ordered Bravos for a few months due to the cost and 4 kids in college. It was very nice to be able to enjoy the food again. Service is pretty bad. Nice people but it ends there. Things are slow and cumbersome. I've been here enough that it's not a fluke. No place setting, forgot bread, don't refill drinks, no parm. It will always be at least two of those. I'm talking about the bar service. Dude is in way over his head. They need 2 bartenders but only have 1. I guess to maximize tip income but it comes at the expense of service. Quite frankly, the service is shitty. The manager should be taken to task. He/She is obviously clueless. I can't even get the bill...I would just walk out but too honest. How long should I wait...a half hour? And of course I will tip good even though they f-ed up my salad and brought me a luke warm entre. Ambiance is good. Food is average at best. I learned my lesson for the last time. If I owned this place I would rip the manager a new one. Really poor showing. read more

The lasagna had good flavor, but the inside of the dish was cold. Almost as if it was frozen then re heated. The salad was ok as long as you picked around the brown pieces of lettuce. An absolute train wreck. Lunch reservations at 1:30, seated close to on time, 10 minutes later drink order taken, refused to take food order, she said she was not ready. 20 minutes later came back to ask for a second time what we were drinking. 40 Minutes later no silverware, no coffee ordered 20 minutes earlier. Appetizer came out, asked for was provided with silverware. Coffee finally delivered, it was wrong, one of the two salads was wrong, and we've been here for 50 minutes. Pizzas out as ordered. Other food came out correctly. With Maggiano's, and Ferraris, we won't be back. It is a shame because for about a decade this was our Friday night date night spot. My first time at a Bravo restaurant the atmosphere is very laid back the service was exceptional the menu selection has variety yet I felt somewhat limited. For my meal I got the cheese tortellini was good but could of used a little more flavor. The other meal was a chicken pasta dish that actually had robust flavor. For a first visit did not wow me but it will have me coming back to try more especially since several of the pasta are made in house (not spaghetti) which makes it a better experience and flavor. What a fabulous dinner out!!! The food was delicious! I had a Romano crusted chicken salad. The perfect amount of dressing blended nicely with the salad. I could taste each vegetable i was eating. No one flavor over powered the other. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The perfect crunch. My boyfriend had Pasta Fra Diavolo. It looked good. He said it tasted great! He rated this Italian restaurant amount the best here in Cincinnati, he's from New Jersey so that is saying a lot! The drink we had tasted amazing but lacked alcohol! My strawberry Fresca was so tasty made with fresh strawberries but i couldn't taste any rum. My boyfriend said the same about his Moscow mule. :( Service was good. I placed an online order for pick up and arrived. Five minutes after it was scheduled. There was no one in the restaurant to help me. I waited for 25 additional minutes , at both the pick up stand, and the host stand, with no one coming to check to see what I needed. Finally someone came over and said she was waiting for the food to be prepared, then turned and walked away. Someone who I assume as a manager came out from the kitchen and asked me what my name was, and then immediately went over and began bagging up my food, which had been sitting there waiting the entire time. I kindly expressed to the manager what had happened, and was presented with nothing more than an apology. When someone stands in your restaurant for nearly a half hour with no one checking them in, I think the least you could do is offer a coupon. The restaurant was not crowded in the least. I'm still baffled as how this happened. read more

We are no strangers to Bravo's and have dined on numerous occasions with family and dear friends over the years. However, I need to register extreme dissatisfaction with the service we received this evening (2.6.21 for a party of 10). My children wanted to take me, my husband and sister-in-law out for dinner to celebrate my birthday. I made the reservation on-line, specifically requested Candace for our server, and a table not to far from the front door due to a hip issue of mine. When we arrived I asked our server (I believe her name was Lisa) where was Candace-thinking she was off for the evening, but only to discover she was working on "carry-out" orders for the evening - I was surprised by this especially when a server is specifically requested from our on-line open table reservation. The evening started out with gum on the back of my daughters chair, and a fly in my daughter-in-laws water. Our drink orders were slow in coming, water refills were non-existent, dirty dishes, and empty glasses were left on the table for us to gather/clean-up and place in the middle of our table to create an eating area - you would have thought we were eating in the kitchen amongst the dirty dishes. When we finally received our meals they were passed around and called out because the person delivering the meals was not our server (found out later, he was the assistant manager), and delivered over and across people or handed to others at the table to pass onto the recipient the meal was designated for (three hostesses were at the hostess station, they could have been helping clear the table, pour water, and get refills on pop). When it was time for dessert there was another delay in receiving our food, my ice cream was partially melted, my husband's ice cream was partially melted, our coffee cups had dried coffee stains on the outside as if they were not cleaned but used, coffee was spilled in the saucers, I had three servings of cream for my coffee, which none of us use cream, my husbands espresso was served in a coffee cup - not in a demitasse. When all was said and done 350.00 later, it was 8:30 PM for a 5:30 reservation. I would like to add, my 1 and a half year old grandson, 7-year old granddaughter, and 12-year old grandson received meals the size and price designed for an adult serving, and not one person at our table was offered parmesan for their pasta dinners (found out due to COVID that cheese had to be requested on the side-we didn't know that, nor was it told to us). The more I think about the evening, the more upset I become. My children work too hard for their money, my son is a law enforcement officer, my daughter works in hospitality/sales at a large facility nearby. The more I think of our coffee cups with dried coffee drips on the sides, a fly in the drinking water, and chewed gum on the back of my daughters chair, I question integrity of the entire evening from a health and safety concern -more so now due to COVID guidelines and restrictions. This particular evening's experience was in stark contrast to several pleasant evenings we have enjoyed in the past from Bravo's. We know you want to do better. POST SCRIPT - Did call spoke to an assistant manager who instead of listening to our experience would talk over the conversation, asked to speak with the manager, Tim- he was not in at the time, and was told he would call, he called, I was unavailable for the call, and never called back. Bottom line? Issue still unresolved. read more
