We are no strangers to Bravo's and have dined on numerous occasions with family and dear friends over the years. However, I need to register extreme dissatisfaction with the service we received this evening (2.6.21 for a party of 10). My children wanted to take me, my husband and sister-in-law out for dinner to celebrate my birthday. I made the reservation on-line, specifically requested Candace for our server, and a table not to far from the front door due to a hip issue of mine. When we arrived I asked our server (I believe her name was Lisa) where was Candace-thinking she was off for the evening, but only to discover she was working on "carry-out" orders for the evening - I was surprised by this especially when a server is specifically requested from our on-line open table reservation. The evening started out with gum on the back of my daughters chair, and a fly in my daughter-in-laws water. Our drink orders were slow in coming, water refills were non-existent, dirty dishes, and empty glasses were left on the table for us to gather/clean-up and place in the middle of our table to create an eating area - you would have thought we were eating in the kitchen amongst the dirty dishes. When we finally received our meals they were passed around and called out because the person delivering the meals was not our server (found out later, he was the assistant manager), and delivered over and across people or handed to others at the table to pass onto the recipient the meal was designated for (three hostesses were at the hostess station, they could have been helping clear the table, pour water, and get refills on pop). When it was time for dessert there was another delay in receiving our food, my ice cream was partially melted, my husband's ice cream was partially melted, our coffee cups had dried coffee stains on the outside as if they were not cleaned but used, coffee was spilled in the saucers, I had three servings of cream for my coffee, which none of us use cream, my husbands espresso was served in a coffee cup - not in a demitasse. When all was said and done 350.00 later, it was 8:30 PM for a 5:30 reservation. I would like to add, my 1 and a half year old grandson, 7-year old granddaughter, and 12-year old grandson received meals the size and price designed for an adult serving, and not one person at our table was offered parmesan for their pasta dinners (found out due to COVID that cheese had to be requested on the side-we didn't know that, nor was it told to us). The more I think about the evening, the more upset I become. My children work too hard for their money, my son is a law enforcement officer, my daughter works in hospitality/sales at a large facility nearby. The more I think of our coffee cups with dried coffee drips on the sides, a fly in the drinking water, and chewed gum on the back of my daughters chair, I question integrity of the entire evening from a health and safety concern -more so now due to COVID guidelines and restrictions. This particular evening's experience was in stark contrast to several pleasant evenings we have enjoyed in the past from Bravo's. We know you want to do better. POST SCRIPT - Did call spoke to an assistant manager who instead of listening to our experience would talk over the conversation, asked to speak with the manager, Tim- he was not in at the time, and was told he would call, he called, I was unavailable for the call, and never called back. Bottom line? Issue still unresolved. read more

The food and service are always great. Their reservation system does not work well though. Apparently they overbook or give away the reserved tables. Plan on waiting 30 minutes to an hour past your reservation on busy nights. Standing here now half an hour past our reservation. read more

Nice quiet ambience. Server was efficient and friendly. Really liked the mozzarella caprese. Tomatoes were sweet and tasted home grown. We had shrimp orzo entree and it was also tasty. We had to wait for 10 minutes before someone came to take an order/offer water. No complaints after that. Food was amazing. I ordered fettuccine, our party also ordered cheese pizza and bravo pasta. My wife and I recently ate ate this restaurant and wanted to call out a surprise on how good my NY Strip steak was. It was better than any steak house I've been in and was surprised when it was at a an Italian restaurant. Flavor and tenderness were out of this world and cooked a perfect medium. I would of given 5 stars but it's pricey at $35.99. Since I recently found out I'm gluten-free this was about the only thing at the restaurant I could get but it was worth it. Haven't been to Bravo in quite some time. This used to be my favorite Italian chain. Was in the area shopping with my mom and daughter and neither have had Bravo before, so thought I'd introduce them. Service was good, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the menu as well as upcoming menu overhaul that's in the works. We had calamari, which I have to say was some of the best I've had in chain restaurant but it was very small serving for $13. My daughter had chicken Parmesan with angel hair pasta instead of the herbed fettuccine that typically comes with the dish. She's 14 and isn't an angel hair or herbed pasta fan and those are the only two options. She loved the chicken. Our server did share they are getting ready to introduce only fresh made pasta...nothing pre-made. I had pasta pomodoro which is one of their classics but not on the menu any longer. Add grilled chicken. It was good but not like I remember it. Nice light dish for lunch though. My mom had an angel hair pasta which a chopped salad. Overall the food is good and I rate this a 3.5 stars. I always try find out what the best entrees are and focus on those. I had the special which was Cajun shrimp on top of artichokes, spinach and Roma tomatoes. The dish was very tasty and had just enough going on to keep it interesting. Shrimp were really good. The Caesar salad was excellent and the anchovy paste dressing was perfect in proportion. This restaurant is part of the Bravo/Brio chain with 11-13 locations. Not your over the top Italian but fairly stable and a good bet. I rate the chain higher than many because they are consistent. I think turnover as in many restaurants is an issue so the wait staff is not always on top of their game. I noticed the wait staff was very young, probably lacking experience and the detail level many are accustomed too. I would go back, I liked the look of the place, the price was right, entrees running from $12-22. The special was $17. About $26 with tip and no wine for tonight. This Bravo is very clean and as far as chain restaurants go, I've always had great experiences here. The decor and staff makes this place feel more upscale than the price reflects and their food is always delicious. Their lobster bisque is one of my absolute favorites--with little shrimp hidden inside. Also, I love that their salad is always served on chilled plates and comes already tossed evenly in dressing. I've also been known to pop just for their Torta Di Cioccolata. This desert is so amazing. Pair it with their cappuccino and it's heaven. read more

We came into this restaurant and ordered off the menu. My wife got pizza which she loved. The bread was tasty with the olive oil dip. My granddaughter got some pasta which she like and her date got some other dish. I got the 1/2 lasagna and it was disappointing, at best. Most lasagna is at least 4 layers and mine was 2 layers. Personally, Stoffers makes better tasting lasagna out of the freezer section of Krogers. Also, with the cost of that meal, I could have bought a whole tray of Stoffers lasagna. The atmosphere put me in mind of the Cheescake factory where everything is big including the prices and we were not wrong. At 20.00 a plate, the lasagna should have been spectacular and it was not. I would love to be thrilled with this Bravo location, but I can't get beyond the surly bartender who took care of me the other night. He was unhappy because there was a late night rush! He never smiles, did not greet me, shows no enthusiasm, and is a real downer. I have seen him this way many times, so thought I would finally post a review. The food was good, however. My neighbors won't go to the bar, either, so we mainly hang out at Rusty Bucket next door, where there is much better bar service. For such a nice area, there should be friendlier bar service that could rake in the crowds. read more

We were in during happy hour with intention of going through dinner. Seated close to the bar... so far good. After that the service goes downward spiral. Drinks took 20mins... martini with no olives. Upon asking, took another 10mins. Bread did not come until we asked... took another 15mins. Overall food is good but service is awful. The waitress spilled the drink while serving... which is okay.
