We had a decent Christmas dinner here and easily made our reservation on open table ahead of time. The server was prompt. My wine glass was looking a bit not so clean but beggars can't be choosers when this is the only game in town open for Christmas which we appreciated having traveled to see a game for the day. I had the chicken parm and subbed out the spaghetti for rigatoni (rigatoni perfect) one of my daughters got the pasta bravo she enjoyed it - the other got a cheese pizza it was underdone but edible. The bread. That's the review. Bravos bread and oil is *chefs kiss*. I would honestly just go for that. This was my nieces first time and I was impressed at how large the kids mac n cheese was. She was stuffed. I always get the Pasta Bravo. The combo of mushrooms and the chicken and rigatoni is delicious. I also love their wedding soup and the cup was huge. This location is quite pretty and I really enjoyed sitting outside. You only have a view of the parking lot but whatever it was still a great ambience. Very strange experience! Horrible customer service. Met 5 old work friends for dinner at 6:30pm. (I was last to arrive closer to 7pm). Began immediately when I saw the hostess who never greeted me! I could see my friends easily because the restaurant was empty. Hostess had a deadpan look. Her glasses looked blurry like you could not even see her eyes. Just weird right off the bat. I sat and friends ready to order. I just followed suit because I was late. All entered an entree only. Waitress (Anne) did not ask anyone if they wanted salad or soup or appetizer and she did not ask me if I wanted a drink! Nothing! Not a word. I had to speak up and order my own beverage, I had to ask! When our Italian dishes arrived she never asked if we wanted parmesan cheese, NEVER ASKED IF WE WANTED DRINK REFILLS! The next time we see her is when she brings 5 cover books with our checks and does not give us individually, just puts them in a pile on table. But mind you, she never returned to ask if we needed anything? Never asked if we wanted dessert, coffee, NOTHING!! It was some of the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED!!! AT THIS POINT I AM THIRSTY AND NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!! Any my go-to Spaghetti Pomodoro was not the best either. Not like I remember. And also the restaurant is still dead. It's not like it's busy and they have a lot of patrons to wait on?!!! It gets better. Before I arrived, my friends had ordered drinks and one wanted a Michelob Ultra beer. This is what she ordered from Anne the waitress. Apparently Anne brings her a Decoy Duckhorn cabernet caraffe. My very nice sweet friends says to Anne, it's ok even though not what I ordered. So this brings out the killer in me?? How do you get decoy duckhorn Cabernet from Michelob ultra!!!??? Mind you, I don't know this story until the bill comes and I am passing them out from the pile left by Anne. And I see $22 for my friends wine and I jokingly say to her "did u order a bottle of wine!!?" Now of course she has no idea what I'm talking about. She looks at her check!!! She can't believe it. She just wanted a beer. I call the waitress Anne over and she got rude and nasty. I say at least you could do is credit her for what a beer cost. And she nastily says a beer cost $16!!!??? And she walks away. I get up now and go and get a menu from the hostess stand. And it clearly has a Michelob Ultra for $6.00!!! Now another friend at table goes and gets a manager. It just got worse. But finally after standing our ground, they took off the entire $22 wine charge! It was great seeing my friends but the entire CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE WAS ONE OF WORST WE ALL EVER HAD. Like the staff were zombies and had no customer service experience at all. This restaurant used to be nice, but something is clearly not right here. Just left my Valentines Day dinner at Bravo in Pittsburgh... horrendous service! We were sat and our waitress made us wait 29 minutes to get water. Our salads and appetizers came out normal timed, then all of the tables around us who sat 30 minutes to an hour after we were sat were given their main courses while we continued to wait an extra 39 minutes. We were at dinner for almost 2 and a half hours, with an hour and a half drive back home. We then got in the car and I pulled out my meal to go since it was taking forever, just for my meal to be half full. Awful waitressing service and even worst kitchen service. We came here for dinner on a Sunday evening. Neither of us had ever been but we got a coupon in the mail for $20.00 off our bill so we figured we would try it. We were seated quickly; a lady came over to get our drink orders and they also arrived quickly. I can't remember what I ordered but it wasn't good. My husband offered to drink and so I could order something else that I also found to be very pricey for how underwhelming it was, but I should know better. My stepson ordered the chicken parmesan, I ordered the eggplant parm, and my husband ordered something with shrimp. I also ordered a Ceasar salad that when it was delivered was set in front of my stepson and left there. Weird since we were a small table 3 people and it was not busy. The salad was ok, but it was served without cheese. You have to ask for cheese on a Ceasar salad, which is very odd and I had to wait until she came back to our table to ask for it. Eventually, our entrees came out and to all of our surprises the pastas were not served with marinara sauce, but instead like a butter sauce. My palette has matured since I was 5 years old, so I did not care for the buttered noodles. The eggplant though a little greasy was pretty good. It was cooked to a crisp brown, seasoned and served with marinara and melted provolone. By far the best thing I ate. Everyone else agreed this was not how they would like to eat pasta. Another odd thing was the portions. I am not a big eater and usually these pasta chains portions are massive, but this wasn't. Everyone ate everything on their plates, and some were still hungry. The bill was over $100.00 even with the coupon, which was a little shocking, but those two blah cocktails certainly didn't help. I don't see us returning. The OG is better if we were really interested in hitting up a chain pasta joint again. read more

Our group picked the Bravo on McKnight Road for this year's Holiday Luncheon get together. It was my first visit, so I didn't know what to expect, and was more than pleasantly surprised. The staff (especially Lizzy H) was attentive, and the food (served family style) was delicious and served HOT. (Loved that). Even the chopped salad was particularly good for mid-winter. Having not been to Bravo! For a while, I thought it was a good time to try it again, and it did not disappoint. As you enter, we were greeted by a very nice hostess. She found our name, and seated us immediately. We were greeted by our waitress very quickly. Not only did she help us, but it seemed that all of the waitstaff checked in on us too. Everyone seemed eager to please. After we ordered, I was able to look around and take in all of their open seating area as well as the open concept of their kitchen. The restaurant has soft lighting and soft music playing overhead. As busy as they were, it was a little loud, but not to the point you could not carry on a conversation with your table. Our drinks arrived and the appetizers soon followed. Everything we tried was very good. I am looking forward to going back soon. I think if you are in the mood for Italian, give Bravo! We went to this place in a relatively large group on a Saturday night. We showed up at the time of our reservation and were seated shortly. The ambiance was acceptable. Some pictures from Italy on the walls and everything else just like a chain restaurant in the suburbs. I ordered Old fashioned cocktail, eggplant Parmesan, Fillet Mignon, and CreaBrûlée for dessert. We also received bread and olive oil for the starter on the house. All the dishes were good. Nothing extraordinary either on the good side or on the bad side. The service, however, was way below average. A little bit slow, missing items, and mixing up others, especially on the checks where we found some cancelled items being still there. Overall, it was an average experience. I don't regret eating at this place neither I recommend it without hesitation. read more

Being that Bravo! is a chain, I wouldn't get too excited about the ambiance - it's pretty ordinary. However, I will point out that there are not tables consisting of booths at this location - all tables and chairs. I'm a "booth" person so that was a slight disappointment. Service was good, not stellar. We arrived around 4pm (maybe 10 minutes or so before 4pm) and the restaurant was about 2/3s full. We were seated immediately and our server was the person who seated us. He was cordial and mostly prompt. He did seem a bit overwhelmed with the number of tables he was serving. However, I will emphasize he did get us refills and check on us after our food was served. My wife's soup wouldn't have been served if she didn't ask for it though. Last but certainly not least, the food was on-point. Plenty of flavor in the spaghetti bolognese (shown in attached picture); which I had modified with penne and added chicken. The complimentary bread (served with olive oil) was a nice accompaniment to the meal - nothing particularly great about it though. My wife had the pasta bravo; which she also enjoyed with a cup of lobster bisque (the cup was more like a bowl, so the portion of soup is generous) We also had the fried mozzarella raviolis for an appetizer and they were quite tasty - especially the marinara served with them. All of that food (no booze, but two soft drinks) cost ~$70. I'd definitely recommend eating here if you're in the mood for Italian on a moderate budget. read more

Big mistake going to Bravo for Thanksgiving dinner. I never had a bad meal there but this turkey dinner was awful. Did they use canned turkey? it wasn't roasted turkey. The taste was awful. The mashed potatoes were hot but everything else was cold and pretty much tasteless. So then the pumpkin pie came out. Couldn't cut it because it was frozen solid. We had to take that home. I almost always enjoy going to Bravo on McKnight Road. I didn't feel like going to our usual Thanksgiving buffet elsewhere this year, so we went to Bravo. It was a fine meal with one exception. Unfotunately, that exception is my favorite part of the Thanksgiving meal, the stuffing. It was a bread stuffing, but it tasted as if it had caraway seeds in it. I couldn't eat it. Caraway seeds belong in corned beef on rye sandwiches. I hope you'll consider just a regular bread stuffing next year, or else cornbread. (Everything else, especially the turkey, was first rate. There were also mashed potatoes, sauteed green beans, cranberries. A first class meal except for the stuffing.) The service was wonderful, as always. I've never had a bad service experience at Bravo. The ambiance was fine, as well. It was completely packed, but no one seemed stressed. Four stars instead of five. read more

I ordered delivery through Uber Eats, so I can comment only on Bravo!'s food and not their employees. Here are my reviews for the foods: Crispy ravioli - 4 stars - These raviolis had a nicely crispy dough, were filled with creamy mozzarella, and had sauces on the side. Lobster bisque - 3.5 stars - This lobster bisque was a little chunky rather than creamy. It had a decent lobster flavor but was also spicy. Cheese pizza - 3.5 stars - The size of this pizza was medium. The crust was on the thinner side. The mozzarella cheese tasted very cheesy. Overall, the pizza tasted slightly sweet. Lasagna - 2 stars - I took one bite of this lasagna, asked my husband if he wanted any (he said no), and then put it into the trash. The noodles were soggy. The flavors of the meat, cheeses, and spice were just OK. Veal parmesan - 3 stars - My husband ate this entree. My birthday dinner was not what I expected. I had ordered the Pasta Bravo - Grilled chicken, rigatoni. (I think in my life I sent something back twice.) My rigatoni was hard not like al dente but like hard from sitting out of water hard or under lights hard. I sent it back. I swear the cook or whoever gave it a stir and gave it back to me. My wife is registered for coupons and has gotten a $20 off in the postal mail for her birthday for a couple of years. In the past there was also a coupon for a free birthday desert which could be used in conjunction with the other offer. This year we received the plastic coupon similarly but the desert coupon did not have a code on it for use at Bravo's. Instead it had a web site icon to lead you to the site and instructions to that site there for the desert coupon. But the link led us to a page to register new customers!?!?? That's not what was written on the coupon. Seems like bait and switch of some type to us...... We are already registered so this seemed useless. Should we re-register? Would we then wait another year to receive a free desert coupon. If that program is over just say so!!!! read more
