Never in my life have I had such a transcendent experience with a burger. Every single time I come…read morehere I order the veggie burger + avocado, and every single time I wish I had ordered 2. The patty just melts so beautifully in my mouth and leaves me longing for just one more bite. The flavors just burst so spectacularly on my tongue and satisfy me in a way that no other burger could. Additionally, I must say that their strawberry milkshakes are superb and taste of such high quality that the steep price is 100% worth it.

Once you bite into their burger, which I will describe as one very juicy and authentic tasting beef burger. Some say it's very oily, but to me it's juicy because of the added cheddar cheese which melts in between the beef patties, so you'll need extra napkins/tissue papers to eat this. Their super burger is quite big that you can get two servings out of ordering just one, or you can have their mini burger. The fries are cooked just right, they have the regular, garlic fries with cheddar or jalapeño cheddar fries. I like that they don't put too much garlic so that it does not over power the taste of the fries. And their shakes are not too sweet. The cookies and cream shakes is my favorite. They also have seasonal shakes which I will try next time I have a craving for a burger. I like that they provide homemade crunchy dill pickles if you prefer it with your burger. As for drinks, I prefer their lemonade. My experience with their service is that the workers there are always nice, friendly and polite. From the time you place your order to the time you get your food. The service is quick and not chaotic. The place is always nice, clean and very organized. You can tell that they like working there for sure.

We ordered the cheesesteak, the Giants Burger, fries, and a chocolate milkshake. The cheesesteak was absolutely delicious--packed with flavor and cooked just right. The fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned, making them the perfect side. The chocolate milkshake was one of the highlights of the meal. They make it with Mitchell's Ice Cream, and if you're from the Bay Area, you already know that's a huge plus. It was extra thick, rich, and creamy--exactly how a great milkshake should be. The Giants Burger was another standout. We asked for it medium, and it came out perfectly cooked. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and everything you'd want from a quality burger. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations. Great food, fast service, and generous portions in a laid-back atmosphere. If you're craving a quality burger, cheesesteak, or milkshake, Big Mouth Burger is definitely worth checking out. Easy 10/10--I'll definitely be coming back.

It was also slightly on the drier side, but the coleslaw served alongside helped balance things out nicely and added some freshness to the meal. The place has a casual setup with around 5-7 tables for dining in, though it seemed like most customers were picking up takeout orders. Overall, it's a convenient spot for a quick burger, especially if you're in the area and looking for something simple and satisfying.

I asked at the counter and they said it's available and they took my order. I showed them that the kiosk shows it's unavailable . They didn't seem to care. I also ordered the $4.99 side salad. Doing an update for this location since it's been 5+ years since my last visit / review. One thing…read morethat hasn't changed, was the smoke and overwhelmingly mouthwatering smell of fresh grilled burgers permeating throughout the entire corner of the shopping center. While most other things are the same, there are some differences. As many places have, they've geared more towards the self-service kiosk approach to ordering. As soon as you enter, there are two kiosks to the left, then one more to the right on the counter instead of one of the registers. They still have a place where you can order from a human being if you prefer that (or like me, have customizations that can't be accommodated via the kiosk)...lol. All jokes aside, I ended up having to order through a person. It's not my fault though, they're promoting this delicious looking new toasted Parmesan-crusted sourdough, but only on a Chicken Club sandwich. Being that we hadn't been to Habit in a while, we were craving a burger specifically. After having to bring a manager over to approve the request and figure out how to enter it into the system, we were able to get the special new bread on our Double Char and Santa Barbara Char for an additional charge of ~$1 each (WORTH IT!). The other new items that came (I assume) around the same time as the Parmesan bread, are Garlic Parmesan Fries, and a Garlic Parmesan Ranch. Both the fries and the ranch were surprisingly good. The fries were a little oily/greasy, but the flavor on them was very rich. The Parm ranch was bold and flavorful, and honestly paired well with everything. By everything, I mean the fries, onion rings, tempura green beans, sweet potato fries, and most especially poured on my Santa Barbara Char. It also paired perfectly with the new bread, and made each bite one of the best I've had in recent history. Another big difference is that they now charge for all sauces (aside from ketchup & hot sauce). Back when we were coming here more regularly, ranch was free. You would just ask them at the counter, and they'd give you one, or a few, at no charge. While they do have a solid sauce selection (BBQ, sweet mustard, teriyaki, ranch, spicy ranch, avocado ranch, and the new garlic parm ranch), they charge $0.60 each. They still have Pepsi products at the fountain, in addition to unsweetened regular and tropical iced tea, and both fresh strawberry and cucumber limeades. Two public, gender neutral bathrooms are in the back with no passcode. It was steadily busy on a Saturday evening around 5:30pm. Most of the tables were full, but there was some turnover with people finishing and leaving and lots of to-go orders. Thank you again to the patient woman who took our order, dealing with all the changes and additions. The food was all very tasty, and we especially loved the new Garlic Parmesan items. We're already talking about making another trip to Habit to get it again...

The food itself was tasty, and I thought the portion was pretty generous--definitely enough to share. I also tried their blueberry cheesecake and peach pie, and both were absolutely amazing! The desserts were definitely one of the highlights of our visit. Unfortunately, the ordering experience was quite frustrating. When I ordered the Two-Egger, the cashier asked if I wanted toast. I explained that I wanted the pancake, since the menu appeared to give an option between pancake/toast. However, he kept asking about toast and continued explaining the options while pointing at the menu. I was having a hard time understanding the way he was speaking, which made the interaction even more confusing. I had to repeat several times that I wanted the pancake. There was also an issue with my almost 4-year-old son's order. He ordered a grilled cheese sandwich for himself, but my husband later noticed that we were being charged for the adult grilled cheese instead of the kids' meal. We were confused because there was a kids' option, and we expected his order to be charged accordingly. Another thing that really disappointed us was the lack of utensils. When our number was called and I picked up my food, there were no utensils provided. I had to go back and ask for a fork and two knives. The staff member told me they had run out of one knife and said he would bring it to us afterward, but unfortunately, that never happened. Overall, the food was good, the portions were decent, and I would especially recommend the blueberry cheesecake and peach pie. However, the service and attention to detail need improvement. Hopefully, our experience was just an off day because the food itself has potential, but better communication, correct billing, and simply providing utensils with the meal would make a big difference.
