Stopped in for a loaf of sourdough. Their sourdough boule has a rather open crumb so it's great for dipping in soup. Maybe not so much for toasting and spreads. It's really nice to chew on though. read more

This place is super cool! I come here to wfh sometimes. The bread is very good, sandwiches are also good for lunch, the outdoor seating is plentiful, & the workers are very kind. There is also a coffee area inside the breadshop that is posted up in the righthand corner of the shop when you walk in - make sure you get a coffee from MATT who works the coffee stand!!! I just love this place. They make my favorite bread in Santa Fe. They also have the sweetest coffee counter that acts as a seperate business in the corner. This is an odd thing to love, but I really love that the same folks always seem to be working. This makes for a more welcoming feeling, a rarity in Santa Fe. They must be a nice place to work or they wouldn't be able to pull that off. Also? They don't have a huge menu, but they do offer daily sandwich specials where they serve what can only be described as a PERFECT sandwich. I just found out about this place and tried it for the first time this morning. The Rye bread was out of this world authentic. Seeded and tasty. Wonderful top notch ingredients were used- no question about it. I also tried the scone with cherries and that was a 10 out of 10 (and I've lived in the UK and I am picky about my scones) . I am currently enjoying their cherry poppy loaf, toasted in the mornings with a big slab of melted butter (imported from France and sold at the shop) and the olive focaccia.
