Delicious, highly recommend. The service was outstanding and the vibes are very welcoming. Everything was also tasty and the coffee....delicioso. We will definitely be back!

Not as clean as you'd expect probably that they've been busy the whole morning (food on the floor etc). It really is very minimal in decor, two big blackboards on either side of their walls. Server was friendly, complimented my leather belt and nails (great for getting tip). Although I had to ask for to go box and check 3 times (twice with one server). I was led to a table in the back near bathroom! I guess they didn't want to seat my solo self in a 3 seater table! I asked what the server would recommend. She suggested the Mallorca chicken French toast; and added if purely savory , get the Cuban sandwich or on the sweet, the pancakes or waffles . I went with the French toast. Order didn't take long. It was good I'd say a 4 stars choice. The fries were under seasoned.

Found this lovely place on Yelp and because it was so close to where I live I decided to give it a try. When I got there I was rethinking my choice but only because it looked closed down because their outdoor space is not yet set up. Luckily for me I parked and went in. It's a nice size space with like 10+ tables. Everything was clean and they had Spanish music playing. When I got there, there were only two other diners but within 15 to 20 minutes they were packed. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the all meet omelette(my husband), the sweet and creamy pancakes (me), the Spanish potatoes and a Mallorca, and two churros. Everything was delicious and the food is made to order. Make sure you have time to wait for your piping hot food. I want to introduce this restaurant to the rest of my family and hope you guys check it out as well.

Sophia and I drove to Virginia Beach to eat breakfast at this little spot tucked away at the Lynnhaven North Shopping Center. They actually appeared on Channel 13 for their Friday Flavor segment just recently. An Economics Professor from Tidewater Community College opened the restaurant in the summer of 2024 bringing her Latin culture to breakfast and lunch dishes. Let's see how the visit went. We were greeted upon walking inside. The decor is beautiful and well kept. At the time we came, there was only one table occupied by 4 people who seemed to enjoy their selections. A few more came after us but it wasn't packed at all. After a few minutes of looking over the menu, we were ready to order. My selection was their omelet with Argentine sausage as the protein with home fries and dipping sauce (a mix of ketchup and mayo) and Mallorca bread (which is $2 extra for the meal). Overall, my dish was good. I don't remember if I had Argentine sausage in the past, but it was a wise choice along with veggies cooked inside. Their home fries were good, and the dipping sauce was fine, but I would've loved to have a bit more spice included (just my preference). The Mallorca bread which I've never had before was fine, but it was toasted a bit too hard. My only brief suggestion for the restaurant is to have the chairs wider. I was surprisingly fine seated, but Sophia wasn't comfortable based on how it was curved. Based on how it was designed, it's for folks on the smaller side. I'm sure they can improve on that. Other than those minor issues, the experience was a good one. We'll definitely be back for another round. Till next time :)

Random Thursday morning breakfast trip decided to try the Breakfast Bar. Service was excellent. Seated right away, received fresh brewed coffee. I tried the eggs Benedict and my wife tried a simple breakfast of eggs, potatoes toast and turkey sausage. My Eggs Benedict was not great. Kind of boring hollandaise sauce. Mixture of sweet bread, lettuce, turkey sausage was just ok. Potato cubes were good. Wife's breakfast was not too hard to mess up. She liked the what she ordered. For an almost $60 breakfast for 2 would have expected more. In fairness, another table ordered pancakes and I definitely had entree envy. They smelled great and they devoured them quite quickly. Maybe next time.!

Quick little breakfast date before shopping and this was a last minute decision, but it did not disappoint! We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and seated immediately. We ordered - Chicharron - Seasoned to absolute perfection and topped with the lime , made for each bite exploding with flavor. Mallorca Bread - We opted for the Horchata cream cheese and it was so densely packed with the perfect amount of flavor. Breakfast Quesadilla - Nothing over the top than the usual, but they definitely drop the plate off once it's done! Would recommend trying this place out at least once as their Coquito is so yummy!

We walked in and stood in reception area for a few minutes until hostess returned and asked how many. We said party of 6 and she couldn't figure out where to put us in a room full of unused 4 tops. The manager showed up and said to put 2 tabled together at the front door, at least 10 empty tables elsewhere but we waited for them to clean the dirty table and were seated and asked what we wanted to drink. I ordered a large OJ and was brought a pint glass full of ice and some OJ. I asked for no ice and was told the manager is strict about filling glasses to the rim with ice and I said I still don't want ice, can you pour the juice in a separate glass without the ice? She brought back my 6oz of OJ in a glass without ice and said sorry. I ordered the Mallorca-n- Argentine sausage gravy and as you can see, looks like a watery paste with VERY LITTLE sausage on a Hawaiian sweet bread hamburger bun... bland and inedible. I will say that the sweet potato pancakes purchased by 2 family members were on point. The wait staff was young and very unknowledgeable about several different menu items and serving food in general. After 20 minutes of waiting for food the Mgr came over to ask if we had ordered yet??? Really, not a good first impression but we may try again in Fall?!? I do not recommend.

We ate here on a weekend morning. We got there early and I'm glad we did because it filled up fast. The food was delicious!! The service was great! I would definitely come here again.

First time trying brunch here and was open for a Latin brunch. The only Latin influence was the drinks, Argentinan sausage, and mallora bread. The wait was about 20 min for a table and then another 20 for food. The server forgot water for multiple people at our table. Because the appetizer would take a while it came out with the entree dish. The interior was very half done in spots on the walls unfinished, bottom flooring tiles were broken. There is only outdoor waiting with a tiny bench to sit in. The food was okay - the empanada was alright but I don't know what the dipping sauce was? The Mallorca french toast was a bit tough to cut through, but had some fruit on it. Coffee was a bit bitter.

First brunch spot of the year. And they definitely deliver on everything walking in we were greeted very fast and friendly with no wait especially on Sunday this was definitely the first brunch spot we been to where there was no wait on a Sunday . The atmosphere in is your classic brunch spot with all the vibrant vibes our servers who guided us through there drink menu where they had a variety of both mimosa and sangria she recommended the sangrias we tried the mango-guava and piña colada and than the Jamaican-pineapple all were delicious and well balanced of sweetness and fruity. We got our food recommendation from the owner herself super sweet and very fun to get to know the origin of some of the menu items that was definitely a good way to start the morning with. I tried their waffle and Argentina sausage and egg empanadas with Argentina sausage very good in flavor and new twist to the traditional brunch with some Hispanic style foods. Definitely a good choice to those that want fast and tasty food that made with creativity and with passion and widespread of drink options and of course we try more from them next time including so lunch items. One of my top places to go to brunch this year.

We had a fantastic experience at the Breakfast Bar in Virginia Beach. From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch, our waitress was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It really set a great tone for the meal. Our waitress also offered suggestions when we were indecisive. The portions were impressively generous, definitely a great value for the price. Every plate that came out of the kitchen looked hearty and delicious. I ordered the vegan chorizo and to my surprise it was flavorful, and satisfying.

Was recommended this place because of the corned beef hash empanadas and they didn't disappoint, they were very good, wspecialt with the sauce... HOWEVER...Service was strange but not bad, if you go you will understand. I was expecting more fusion foods... it was your typical breakfast food for the most part, but with Spanish music playing in the background. It's hard to rate a place super highly for something I could definitely make at home (besides empanadas) but if ur looking for a reliably good breakfast spot this is one of them

When I walked in I was greeted by the staff, very welcoming. Was I was ordering I had a few questions that were answered right away. The food came out very quick and was very good. There was a very friendly vibe from all the staff and they had good music play for a great first time experience

It's a little curmudgeonly of me, but I didn't want this place to be as good as it actually is. I…read moredo work around this area and had been curious about Yorkie's for a while; about a month ago I had the opportunity to stop in. It's kind of like Taste in that it's like a Hip And Trendy Sandwich Spot - the staff is mostly perky, cool, and very competent college students - and the prices are about on par with Taste as well, but for what you get here, it's probably double the value of what you can get there. I got their tuna melt, which stuck with me for long enough that it had me craving another sandwich like that when I was in the area again. So today I was in the area again and I brought a friend, who also got the tuna melt and loved it. The thing about that sandwich is that they probably put about a half pound of bluefin tuna salad on it, and it's not mayo or filler-heavy. It's very tuna-forward, which is a plus to me. This time I got the Kevin's Bday, which was turkey, bacon, cheese, LT with this amazing garlicky green onion aioli, because honestly I was like, "Well, the tuna melt was really good. But what about just a Normal Ass Sandwich??" Both those sandwiches come on thick toasted (I think potato?) sandwich bread and my god it was all SO delicious. Again, the portion was enough for two meals, and it was just a turkey sandwich! The turkey was super succulent too. One small detail i really appreciated was that I believe they cut their tomatoes on the slicer as well; they're incredibly thin, and they add a lot to the sandwich without overpowering it. Also their tots are unreal. Sorry for rambling. I'm very passionate about sandwiches apparently. All I'm saying is that if you're at the oceanfront and you're trying to pick a sandwich place, it should be this one.

I saw Yorkie's advertise their Wednesday "Girl Lunch" special and immediately knew I had to try it…read morebecause it combines some of my favorite things: tots, Caesar salad, and a fried chicken cutlet. It was definitely busy during the lunch rush, but worth the wait. The dish was so good! The lemon zest really brightened everything up and kept it from feeling too heavy despite the Caesar dressing, tots, and fried chicken. It added a depth of flavor I wasn't expecting and absolutely loved. At $18 (+ an additional $2 for a can of diet coke), it's a little pricey IMHO, but I'd order it again without hesitation because it's that good. Yorkie's is such a cute spot, the staff was friendly, and while parking can be a bit sparse around lunchtime, it's worth it. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu!
