    Pico de gallo egg

Biscuits & Gravy with Eggs (3/5): Decent meal with solid flavor. Pancake Platter (2.5/5): Came with bacon and a single strawberry. Okay, but far from amazing. Omelette (1/5): Massive miss--way too much pico de gallo (more salsa than egg). The side of potatoes was pretty good, though. Overall, the food is fine, but between the long wait and uneven quality, it's not worth going back.

Came on a Thursday morning. Got in but let me tell you... if you don't like strangers like that... this may not be the place for you! The place is small...like really small... like "do you mind table sharing" small. The hostess was sweet and servers attentive. The coffee was hot... menu offers a variety of items... pricing is what it is for what you get! The music is hitting! The place is clean and interesting with nostalgic photos. Food was good!

If you're looking to activate your morning strategy with maximum impact, this spot is the move From the moment you walk in, the ambiance delivers--a quaint, cozy layout with both booths and tables, smooth vibes flowing from truly elite music, and walls lined with stunning portraits of iconic Black celebs. It's giving culture, comfort, and full-on brand alignment with good energy The food? Listen... these plates came out fresh, hot, and absolutely bursting with flavor. Every bite felt like a high-performance success metric for my soul. The service team rolled out best-in-class execution--friendly, attentive, and on point with every detail. No misses, no rework, just streamlined excellence Parking is a breeze with spots right in front of the building, maximizing operational efficiency from arrival to exit Overall, Breakfast Brothers is a top-tier experience that drives value, delivers delight, and keeps you coming back for repeat engagement. Highly recommend!

For this to be a small spot and not too crowded at the time, I didn't quite understand the 30+ minute wait time. Once we were seated, though, the service was good, and the manager even stopped by to check on us, which I appreciated. I ordered the catfish with grits and eggs, along with a red velvet waffle -- everything was pretty good. My friend got the salmon, which unfortunately wasn't cooked all the way through. It definitely could've used a bit more time on the grill and a better crisp. Now, the mac and cheese... it was kind of all over the place. It had a lot going on -- multiple cheeses, way too much sour cream, heavy seasoning, and lots of parsley. I couldn't quite put my finger on the exact flavor, but it was only good for the first two bites. We both had the sweet tea mix, and that was really good . Willing to given it another try . Attached my video of the vibes for you

There may be a wait especially if you go later in the day or on the weekends, but it's ALWAYS worth it! Everything is always fresh and delicious!

I went in today with a friend for brunch. I had the Catfish and Grits. My friend had the French Toast plate. She absolutely loved her meal. My meal came with of course catfish, grits, eggs cooked to order, and toast. Everything was so delicious! I also loved the gravy sauce that was included with the meal. I usually get cheese on my eggs and grits, but it was good without it. Everything was very well seasoned! Definitely need to give a shout out to the Cook! I also had a mango margarita to finish it off which is given in a big size mason jar. It was good as well. Giving it a 4 star because the booth seating wasn't properly cleaned prior to sitting down. Also the female employees were very attentive but our main server not sure his name just seemed to be in a rush. The food will definitely bring me back!

My six-year-old son and I had some time on our hands between his doctor's appointment and being able to get into quest diagnostics for blood work. I think we all can relate to that situation. He was starving to death, as usual. I found Breakfast Brothers on Yelp and decided that would be a good one to try. I have been to their location in South Dallas in the past. I have a great appreciation for the grits that I had there. Finding good grits in Texas is almost impossible and they have good grits. This particular restaurant in Arlington is quite small, which is fine. I had an omelette minus all the starchy sides because I didn't want to be tempted and drive my type one diabetes through the roof. My son had pancakes, eggs and sausage. They don't offer a kids menu, but he ate at least 75% of it. He was truly hungry. The food was rather good. The service was great. The staff was friendly and they took care of business. The only negative I have is that it took quite some time for our order to be taken and the food to arrive. I'm not beating anybody up over that because it is a sit down restaurant and fast isn't always the ultimate goal. I will go back in the future and hopefully I can drag the rest of my family along.

This was my first visit on an early Sunday morning. The location is tucked in a small retail center. I thought that we had beat the Sunday crowd, but after going in we found the wait was 45 minutes. Understandably, because the space is quite small on the inside. After the wait, we were seated. Unfortunately, it was right by the door. It was a cold day and the door makes a really loud thud when closing. Truth be told, the service and food made up for it. We started off with loaded fries. The fries were most definitely frozen. The toppings were fresh. My daughter asked for ranch which came in a packet, which didn't taste the best. For my entree, I had the pancake combo. The pancakes were DELICIOUS, fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness. My eggs were cooked to perfection. My daughter had the French toast combo. She absolutely loved it, and my boo had the pork chops. While I think they looked like they were cooked in old grease, he loved them. I have to mention that they offer alkaline water by the Breakfast Brothers that I enjoyed. This place is a gem. Quaint, good music, great service and excellent food. A few small improvements would easily make this a 5 star review, but we'll definitely be back!

How is it that you come to a black owned business and you need to call to see if they have an item on the menu?? This is crazy. Just take the lamb chops off the menu. I don't call other establishments before arriving. Your waitress suggested I call before coming. That's a hard NO. My grandson enjoy his French toast breakfast though. ****Update****Well I finally got the lamb chops from the Bardin location and got food poisoning. Sheesh after all this waiting. I've been in bed all day since yesterday. Dry heaving and on the toilet. Never again will I keep trying if they are out of anything. I paid 50$ to get sick.

Visited the Arlington location. Food was amazing! The service was amazing too. I did not realize how small this location was, so they get them in and get them out. But the food and service was really amazing! Def will be back!

Went to BBs for breakfast. I must say, for $50+ for 2 entrees, both pancakes, 1 with chicken and the other with bacon was good but too pricey. The service was great. The restaurant was very intimately sized (fancy for small) with a cool theme making it stir conversation and reactions. Overall, great food, great vibe, but pricey. I'll come back when my bonus check hit!

Are 6 wingettes 12.00 and Is it really 5.00 to request all flats? Or is this a typo?

It is a $5 upcharge for all flats. I am not sure about the wingettes.

I ordered the pork chop plate, and the server kindly let me try both a fried pork chop and a smothered one since I couldn't make up my mind. I also had fried cabbage and yams. The cabbage had a little unexpected heat to it, but that's actually the same way my family cooks theirs, so I ended up really enjoying it. One thing that stood out to me was the staff. I'm not sure if the restaurant is always staffed this way, but I was genuinely impressed that all the front-line workers were men -- and every single one of them was courteous, respectful, patient, and mindful of each customer. While I enjoyed my meal, I watched them treat each person who walked in with the same positive energy and attentiveness. If you're in the area, go support this restaurant. The food, the atmosphere, and the service all made my first visit a memorable one.

The young man who answered the phone was very kind and ensured he had my order correct. Even verified I was ok with paying over the phone before he took my order. I arrived about 15 minutes later and once inside the cashier called for my order number then requested to see the card I paid with and my ID. In today's world it's comforting to know there are businesses verifying identity! Kudos!! Once seated at home I opened my container to hot fried catfish, tomatoes and okra, Mac n cheese and hot water cornbread. My first bite of everything was very good and seasoned to perfection. I got so full so quick that I wasn't able to finish but it made for perfect leftovers later that day. On to the desserts! My mom got a slice of pecan pie and I enjoyed the strawberry cake. Both were tasty and prepared perfectly! I will stop in again for fried pork chops when it's time for an off plan meal.

I am…read moregiving a very generous 4 star review mainly because of the woman who was plating all the food behind the counter and because this place is a soul food spot not southern. I came here today a little after 5pm and did not get a greeting like everyone else did when I walked into the door. They were pretty busy with to go orders around this time. There is an entrance area where you order and pay for your food and a separate area for dining in. I ordered a catfish fillet with Mac n cheese and sweet potatoes and fried shrimp basket with fries and greens to go. I ordered at 5:15 and got my food at 5:45 and let me tell you, it was the longest wait of my life. I think the A/C must've been broken because it was hot in the waiting area and it didn't help that one of the front desk girls kept complaining about them still being open for another hour. There were a bunch of flies everywhere and the front area doesn't seem to be cleaned throughout the day. I also feel for the woman who puts the plates together because she's doing it by herself and was constantly asking the front desk girls to bag the orders. She stayed calm though and still greeted people as they were coming in. Now for the food. The shrimp basket was $25.99 and the catfish was $19.99. The shrimp was good, kids approved. The catfish was good too. All the food was made fresh to order so I can appreciate that for quality. Onto the sides. I think the French fries were accidentally season with sugar instead of salt. The greens were ok, just drenched with garlic. The Mac n cheese, ehhh. I was looking forward to the Mac n cheese but it wasn't as cheesy as I was expecting but tasted ok. The sweet potatoes were really good, probably my favorite side out of the four. The cornbread was moist and good. Overall, food was good but definitely overpriced. However, I do support small businesses but still think it's a bit overpriced based on portion size. They do require you pay for your food before you sit down if you are dining in. This may be because of too many incidents where people dine and dash. I do think that the lady behind the counter putting the plates together needs better help. No offense to the young girls they have working there but either train them or get someone who can actually do the job. If you are looking for true southern food, this ain't it. Texas food vs. southern food are 2 completely different things which I am learning the hard way now having lived here for a year.
