    Breakfast Molcajete

Forgive me I started eating before the photo and could barely get the fork down to take this one. Let me tell you I was Hyperfixating on this for a week straight ! The portion size is huge. It's delicious and had plenty to fuel you , share if you'd like. I eat half at breakfast half at lunch. The potatoes , two kinds of sausage , eggs, cheese are delicious and perfectly balanced and the peppers are wonderfully cooked every time. You can choose scrambled or fried eggs. I usually do extra cheese, add Avacado , green and red salsa and inhale it. If you like a good sit down joke in the wall this is your place to go. The prices are amazing it's located at the end of gate city going towards Jamestown but still Greensboro. It's easy and the employees are always nice and my foods ready when I call in for pickup.

Thoroughly enjoyed this place. I found this restaurant while looking for a breakfast & brunch place to meet up with some friends. The name is literally perfect, as it's exactly what we were looking for. Upon entering we waited a few minutes for a table as the restaurant was completely full, which is a good sign. Many different items to choose from and they all looked delicious! Our food took a while to arrive, but everything was hot and flavorful. Customer service was good as well. If you're in the Greensboro area give this place a try.

A lot of food choices is the best thing about Breakfast Brunch. Everyone will be able to find something they like. My Carolina omelette was delicious. It contained black beans, cheese, chopped veggies and avocado topper. I added nicely cooked grits and wheat toast to finish out the meal. The restaurant is large and can house a lot of people, so there was no wait even on a Sunday morning. It was clean with an attentive staff. The prices were very reasonable.

Amazing food. I went two days in a row. Greensboro has great breakfast spots but they are often crowded with long waits and little parking. This gem has several dining sections and lots of seating. The parking lot is huge. And the menu are just as plentiful whether you want something sweet, savory, or something a little more traditional Mexican. The waitstaff are pleasant and I would like to thank Selene for her helpfulness. Pros Large portions Lots of menu options Quick service Tasty food Various portion sizes Plenty of parking Convenient location Low prices for quality food Cons None on this visit

Newish breakfast spot on west gate city in an unassuming plaza. Large dining area with quick seating even on a busy Saturday early afternoon (brunch hours). My husband and I were seated quickly, asked for our drink orders, and given time to peruse the very large menu. For those from the East Coast is very familiar to the menu of a 24 hour diner that includes everything from breakfast, burgers, tacos, pizza, subs, and almost anything else your heart might desire for breakfast lunch or dinner. There is also a full bar area where I believe you can be served drinks with your meal as well. The service was good and the prices are good all in all this is an OK but not wonderful great breakfast spot as compared to other offerings and the triad area. My one complaint the bacon definitely needed to be a lot crispy and more seasoned potatoes. The biscuits were actually good and tasted homemade, but it was clear that the gravy was probably from a can. I think it's very difficult when you have this large of a menu to ensure that most things are made from scratch.

(4.5 stars) Laugh at the name all you want, but Breakfast Brunch offers some seriously good eats for its price point. It's housed in a former Mexican restaurant, and the walls retain the same bright palette (reds and yellows and oranges) albeit with some farm-inspired décor. This fusion approach - a Southern diner with Mexican influences - can be found across the menu as well. Breakfast offerings include the omelets, biscuits, and pancakes you'd expect from the former, along with sandwiches, salads, fried fish, and pastas later in the day. Any place that offers chicken and waffles, fettuccine carbonara, and quesadillas has variety going for it at the very least. For my first visit, I opted for one of the chef's specials: the breakfast molcajete. Served in the namesake sizzling stone mortar, it came loaded with homefries, onions, tomatoes, chorizo, smoked sausage, peppers, cheese, and two eggs cooked to order (scrambled in my case). The portion was huge. As it easily yielded two meals, the $11 price felt like a steal. However, this wasn't a case of quantity above all: it was quite tasty too. The potatoes were crisp and well-seasoned while the chorizo added a spicy kick. Throw in prompt and polite service, and Breakfast Brunch seems like a winner for anyone seeking better-than-average diner food. Located at 4623 West Gate City Boulevard in the Sedgefield Crossing Shopping Center in Greensboro, Breakfast Brunch serves diner fare and all-day breakfast. It is open from 7-8 Monday-Saturday and 7-3 on Sunday. Family meals are available. Laugh at the name all you want, but Breakfast Brunch offers some seriously good eats for its price point. My family and I decided to stop in after church and we were able to be seated right away. Our waitress was really nice and very pleasant. She kept us updated with our order the entire time. There was a longer wait for our food but we were not in a rush so that didn't bother us. When our food was brought out to us, part of it was cold and other parts warm. We were disappointed due to the wait. Our eggs and potatoes were cold. The seasoned potatoes weren't fully seasoned and were bland. The pancakes and taco were so good. I thought the salmon patties were delicious but my fiancé thought they were average. The location was very clean and they had paintings in the wall. It was gorgeous! Loved it! We will definitely return to this breakfast place!

Spinach mushroom omelette w grits and biscuit and waffle

I finally made it over here! They did not disappoint. My omelette was full of spinach mushrooms and cheese and was cooked well. The grits were good and I did not need to add butter just a little salt and pepper, the same with the omelette. I asked for a crispy waffle and got just that! I saved the biscuit for later and I'm sure it will be good then. Coffee was fresh and came in a cute branded mug. A nice touch compared to another SPOT where I got a mug with a TJ Maxx sticker once. Also the music and TV playing but neither were blaring loudly. They were so nice and patient and let me sit where I could work. Thank you for the food and service. This area is building/rebuilding with the new oils change location in the parking lot and the new Sheetz down the street, I'm confident of more business coming your way. Great job! Much success to you!

Big Brunch Combo: 2 eggs, hash browns, 2 sausage patties, grits, 2 pancakes

What an extensive menu! Fellow yelpers recommended this place for breakfast so decided to give it a try. It previously was a Mexican restaurant and still has the architecture of the same. I was told the multi page menu wasn't even all of what they offer. There is a QR code on the table if you want more food choices. I was in the mood for pancakes and eggs so went with the Big Brunch Combo which ended up requiring a take out box for the pancakes. So much food for the price: 2 eggs, 2pancakes, grits, hash browns, 2 sausage patties. The pancakes were light and fluffy, eggs cooked over easy (my choice), big sausage patties. Very friendly waitress. Definitely will go back to try some of their other food choices but I've got to work off this breakfast first.

We wanted to try out a new breakfast spot so figured we would try out breakfast brunch. We arrived on a Sunday later in the day around 1 PM. Understandably it was very busy as there are many people trying to leave and also many people waiting inside the lobby and outside. There was a little bit of traffic inside due to people waiting in line to pay at the register so a little bit of congestion however the dining area opens up and is very large. It took us a minute to find a hostess then we're added to the list. The waits wasn't too bad about 25 minutes and were sat. They have a large brunch menu with many classic and Mexican inspired dishes. Also a kids brunch menu. Unfortunately, service was delayed and our food took about 50 minutes to come out, again understanding of how many people were coming in and out at the time. I would definitely think about coming at an earlier time before the rush. The good thing is as we waited we had some fresh coffee cream and sugar at the table. I went with the breakfast Molcajete and despite the delay, this robust meal was nicely presented in a traditional mortar. I was shocked with how big the portion was. It was neatly put together with pieces of smoked sausage protruding from the dish in an artistic way. The smell was amazing and the taste even better, the Mexican chorizo was a little spicy but balanced out with the potatoes and feta cheese. A very unique and delicious meal. I was abale to eat about half of it and took the rest home. Seems like a convenient place to get brunch with a unique menu with many choices.

    Chicken Pot Pie

So glad I was able to stop in and try Breakfast Brunch. It's in the same shopping center as the Post Office on Gate City Blvd where the old Mexican restaurant was next to La Palma. I heard a few friends rave about their fried fish and just knew I had to give it a visit. Fair warning, their menu is massive, and I had trouble narrowing down what I wanted for lunch. They have really good prices on their special so I went for the pot pie. It comes with two sides all eight books. The staff was very inviting and kind and they really wanted our feedback on our dining experience. The owner said he really wants to cater to his customers so he asked what items we like to see on the menu and how to improve. I thought that was such a nice touch, much difference from franchise restaurants. The restaurant still has a lot of the Spanish feel from the previous occupants, but it was very neat, clean and tasteful. The service was impeccable. Our waitress was very attentive, friendly, and did a great job. They are hoping to add alcohol like mimosas in the future and I think it would be a great touch.

Bacon provolone chicken sandwich. Really good with added honey mustard!

We have been wanting to see a simple family restaurant with a diverse menu, pretty good food, and fair prices move into this part of town for quite some time now, and I think we may finally have it! "Breakfast Brunch" serves breakfast and brunch all day, but they also have sandwiches, meat and two platters, fried seafood, and more to round out the lunch and dinners hours. This spot is in a very old shopping center at the corner of Gate City blvd and Groometown road, and there's an old movie theatre that may impede your ability to see it from the road. That said, there's good cheap eats on this corner, with both Ginza on the corner, and La Palma located next door. This spot used to be a Mexican restaurant for quite some time, and appears to still be hispanic owned, as the owner/operator/cook "Roger" came out to greet us and ask how the food was. The answer, the food was really good! There's a lot of diversity on the menu, but most of it are relatively simple foods, the kind of food you'd be looking for when you just don't want to cook for yourself, but also don't want anything expensive. They do offer some hispanic inspired dishes, but most of it is American food. I had a fried chicken sandwich with provolone cheese and bacon on it, as well as lettuce and tomato, and asked for some honey mustard on the side... and it came with fries or tater tots (always tots for me). My wife got a short stack of pancakes with a very tasty berry compote on top. My sandwich was great. The chicken was pounded thin but multi-layered. The meat was still moist and the breading crisp. The combo of bacon and provolone rounded all that nicely, and it was set off by the honey mustard which I asked for instead of mayo. The tots were fried to perfection, just crispy on the outside, still tender inside. The combo cost less than 10 bucks before tip, very happy with this! My wife also enjoyed her berry pancakes, and I had a few bites as well, can confirm, quite tasty. This is a place we are going to return to for sure. There's a lot to try on the menu no matter what you're in the mood for, and the value is great. Perfect place for when you don't want to cook for yourself. Check it out!

Thrilled a new family restaurant has opened up that offers such a large and varied menu! I was craving a sweet breakfast meal and found the perfect option in this short stack (2) pancakes with a warm berry and pecan syrup. It wasn't overly sweet or drowning in syrup, but found a really good balance. Even though the menu was huge, they were relatively simple dishes that are reliable and easy to please an entire family (or group of friends). My partner tried the chicken club sandwich and it was delicious! Super juicy and flavorful. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and fried. They forgot his bacon but the server was super attentive and remedied that immediately. The owner, Roger, stopped by to greet us and introduce himself. Really lovely person that is very excited about his new place! It's in a very convenient, albeit old, shopping center, and the prices are more than reasonable. We will absolutely be coming back for breakfast, lunch, or dinner in the near future.

My partner visited Black Magnolia last week after her massage at Green Leaf Wellness center and raved about her cinnamon roll, so I decided to treat myself to one as well and it did not disappoint. I found the Patisserie straight away as I passed it on the way to my massage, but the signage on the curb helps since some businesses in Revolution Mills can be quite difficult to find. The storefront itself is quite small, consisting of a standing room and the glass case of baked goods, but there is seating outside and around the establishment. The staff was attentive, briefing me on all the cinnamon rolls they currently had and letting me know that there were some baking that would be available a bit later. Each roll looked decadent with flavors ranging from lemon blueberry, s'mores, and classic. There were also scones and other baked goods available as well, but I had my heart set on the Classic Cinnamon Roll. I bit into this beauty on my way home and it was the softest and most delicious cinnamon roll I have ever had! Baked with brioche dough and topped with cinnamon cream cheese frosting, the pillowy texture and flavors were so comforting and satisfying.
