    Classic bacon, eggs, breakfast potatoes
    Yolanda T.

Love the Chipotle Steak & Queso Hash from the new summer seasonal menu. Tender steak over the best breakfast potatoes around with just the right amount of black beans, corn, and fresh pico de gallo and the crucial smashed avocado. Everything just works so well together...a must try!!! And you can never go wrong with the classic, crispy bacon, eggs, breakfast potatoes and pancake. It was super busy, however service was attentive but it took a while for the food but it was served fresh and hot. The restaurant always has such a good positive vibe and it's an enjoyable place to sit and converse with family and friends!

Ambiance: 5/5 -I have will say the Friendly location is very cute on the inside. A little more modern than the Wendover location. Food: The food was decent. The chocolate chip pancakes were good. The turkey sausage however was very pale and didn't look like it was cooked for long. I also didn't like how the sausage didn't have its on separate plate it was just thrown on top of the pancake. The lemon ricotta pancakes were good. I prefer the banana almond but wanted tot ransoming new. The yellow cream tasted like lemon pudding. The inside had what I'm assuming to be a sweet ricotta mixture. The strawberries were fresher. & as always the million dollar bacon was amazing! A must every time I visit Service: I'm giving this review a 3/5 because of the service. When I originally arrived, my server was behind the table we sat at talking about how she doesn't have to talk to one of her co-workers if she doesn't want to. She also then had an attitude and was very short with us while servicing our table. Towards the end of our visit, she was nicer, asking if we needed anything & seemed as if whatever attitude she had was gone but that didn't make up for the service received earlier. I've been to the Burlington as well as the Wendover location and I've never had bad service.

We've been to numerous First Watch locations over the years, including Phoenix, Virginia, and several here in the Triad, and this brand-new opening at Friendly Center is up there with the best. The location itself is fantastic, with a super cool ambiance and very nice décor inside. Service was friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent all around. The menu really delivers with a variety of options that can be as healthy or indulgent as you want, plus a great mix of drinks--whether you're in the mood for something fresh and wholesome or a cocktail with brunch. The wrap around patio is a huge plus, designed with both fans and heaters to make it comfortable year round. This is a wonderful new addition to the Friendly Center area for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. We'll definitely be back.

Super excited to finally have a First Watch on this side of town -- especially for healthy breakfast options after the gym! The food was great as always. However, it did take quite a while to come out, and our server seemed less attentive than others. Unfortunately, our water glasses and several sets of silverware were dirty, so we ended up using plasticware instead. The front entrance and bathroom were also not well-maintained -- there were sneaker prints on the floor, trash overflowing, and bits of tissue scattered around. I understand they're still new and working out the kinks, but cleanliness should always be a top priority. We'll give it another try in a few months and hope to see some improvements.

The entrance to the restaurant is small so it's hard to wait inside for a table. However, they do allow you to wait in line online before you arrive. And they give out free coffee in the front when you arrive at the restaurant. Which is a wonderful touch! The menu is very unique. I've tried many items. Usually I have had to ask the waiter to adjust the ingredients to my taste. It's never a problem though. Every item has been really fresh and tastes delicious!

I went to the soft opening for this First Watch. Pros Amazing service Plenty of menu options Well prepared food Good sized portions Nice central location Various seating options Bright atmosphere Cons No cons during this visit Would definitely recommend. Great for brunch and families. A true contender in an area with vast brunch options.

My rating is around 3.5 stars as the service and atmosphere is nice and the lighting is a bit bright for me. This was my first visit and upon being seated one of the coffee cups on the table was dirty. It was quickly taken care of and our server was very good. The coffee is just ok, tastes weak and reminded me of run of mill diner coffee . Large selections of dishes and I had the trifecta which was a meat, eggs and one large pancake. I upgraded to their signature million dollar bacon which is candied and also a little spicy, it was good . The eggs seemed to be an after thought as they were not hot. The large blueberry pancake was good, not too sweet but not super flavorful either. My partner had the steak chimi hash bowl which he rated excellent.

Had breakfast here with a friend recently. It was absolutely lovely inside. Clean and bright with a modern but cozy look. The staff was excellent! Attentive but not overbearing. The food was delicious. The pancakes are bigger than your head and their different drinks are very inclusive for those who do or do not drink. We enjoyed ourselves and I definitely will be back!

Once again, first watch did not disappoint. We visited their newest location on Pembroke in Greensboro. The food was amazing. The service was great and there's always an inviting atmosphere. If you have not tried the million dollar bacon you are missing out. It's crispy, sweet, and spicy. You can thank me later.

The service was outstanding, I went there for Birthday, My husband treated me to breakfast, I order French Toast and chicken sausage, and eggs, and I always get the Purple haze, and it's sooooo good.It was very nice and clean and the bathroom was clean. The waitress was very nice she gave me a treat for my Birthday.#GO Check it out# Let me know what you think.

We were thrilled to have one closer to us so we had to check it out. We waited while the hostess checked out a couple of people before we were seated.Autumn took excellent care of us. We got the eggs Benedict and a BLT. The Bene was on brioche bread versus English muffin which made for a nice twist. We had the millionaire bacon and it was good. Nice place for brunch.

This is a new build and it is the nicest First Watch I've seen! The location is wonderful and the vibe is great. Our waitress was friendly and gave good service, there was an oops with my guest's potatoes but the waitress was quick to make it right. The coffee is so good! We enjoyed our brunch!

The blueberry hushpuppies were an amazing surprise. Like deep fried donut holes. The cinnamon butter that goes alongside it was a perfect pairing. Finally, the beignets were melt in your mouth good. Burgers, wraps, apps, salads, wings, sandwiches, Philly's, even a burrito... you name it. Pretty much everything that comes out of this kitchen is a hit. Today I had the chicken Philly. Yep, the best chicken Philly I've had in a very long time. The classic soft Philly hoagie, chicken that's tender and juicy, peppers and onions full of flavor with the perfect consistency (not too limp, not too raw), all topped with oozing cheese that they're not shy with. On a Saturday afternoon, I was in Greensboro and in the mood for some good pretzels and a draft beer, and this hit the spot. Old Town Draught House has a very old bar ambience, without feeling worn out and dated. I love the old dark wood throughout the building. They have a pretty broad draft beer menu, along with normal bar offerings. I was happy to see multiple sour beers on the list, because that's exactly what I was in the mood for. There's no table service, and it is seat yourself, but the bartenders were very attentive, and it was never difficult to place an order at the bar. We ordered a few beers and decided to get deviled eggs and the pretzels as appetizers to share. Food came out very quickly. The pretzels were pretty good, but I've had better elsewhere. Rather than being crispy, they were soft and a bit soggy, but the flavor was great. The beer cheese was on point, although I would've preferred a spicy brown mustard over yellow mustard. The deviled eggs were a bit of a letdown, because it was just a hard-boiled egg cut in half with a little bit of sweet chili peppers and dressing that tasted like 1000 Island on top. When I think of deviled eggs, I anticipate the egg yolks being removed, mixed with a few ingredients, and piped back in. For what was basically two eggs cut in half, the six-dollar price tag was steep. Overall, we had a great experience, although I would likely choose different food options next time. The bar staff were great, the beer offerings nice, and the ambience was a good vibe.

Overall it was a fun experience once we got past the cop and the growing pains of a new venue.

The building served as a feed-and-seed store, a record store and a used-appliance store. The bookstore opened in 2013, and its extensive renovation preserved the exposed brick walls and the high pressed-tin ceilings. They added hand-carved bookcases. The walls are olive green, and the original windows let in plenty of natural light. The store was named after the scuppernong grape, the North Carolina state fruit. The store's "fox and grape" motif, visible on its signs and literature, is also a nod to Aesop's fables. The bookstore is cozy and welcoming, with areas to lounge and even a seating bar at the front of the store. The bookstore carries new and used books, with a good variety. You will find banned books and many about social justice. The store has stood up to censorship. The genres are clearly marked, and it is easy to browse and shop. They even have staff picks with reviews. I like that North Carolina authors are featured. The store partners with other local businesses. The cafe has coffees, teas, wines and craft beers. They have pastries from Loaf Bakery and Swedebread. The sandwiches are from Jerusalem Market. The specialty teas come from Vida Pour Tea. Service here is welcoming, helpful and low-pressure. They let you browse without following you around so you can take your time and explore. I highly recommend visiting Scuppernogg Books if you are looking for a local business to support or just like visiting old buildings. In the digital age, it is so nice to connect with others and actually browse the shelf to find my next read. I loved the banned books, as I am always curious as to what they don't want me reading.

Some books have been harder to find as of recent, but I knew Scuppernong would not let me down. I placed my order online, and they sent me an email when it was ready to pick up in store. I was kindly greeted at the front door, and had my book within a minute. I did take an extra few seconds to wander the rest of the store, as it is such a lovely space. The sense of peace and calm the store has to all who enters cannot go unnoticed. I left with my required book in hand, and a smile on my face.
