This may genuinely have been one of our favorite dining experiences ever. Our server, Karen, was absolutely amazing. So kind, funny, attentive, and accommodating. You can tell she genuinely cares about the people she serves, and by the end of dinner she was basically my new favorite person We accidentally ordered enough food to feed about 10 people (there were two of us ), and EVERYTHING came out perfectly and tasted amazing. I'm pregnant, and as soon as they heard, they were more than happy to heat the meat on my club sandwich for me, no hesitation or complaints at all, which I really appreciated. And apparently the club sandwich made quite the impression because we literally came back AGAIN THE SAME DAY so I could order another one. Pregnancy hyperfixation officially unlocked. The baby and I were very happy customers. Seriously, between the food and Karen making the entire experience so much fun, this place earned every bit of five stars. We've been to Logan's twice now and I've had really good experiences both times. This evening we went for a quick dinner and it didn't disappoint. We were sat immediately, and our waitress. Ashlyn, was prompt to greet us. She was very attentive and quick with drink refills and brought everything out in good timing. We had house salads, and we commented on how crisp they were in cold plates, making such a big difference. For our meals, we had salmon, ribs and steak entrees w sweet and loaded baked potatoes. The salmon was seasoned well and the sweet potato w cinnamon was hot and tasty. The steak and ribs were also done very well, cooked properly. The South Carolina version of Texas Roadhouse / outback steakhouse! We came here for Wednesday lunch. Perhaps I am just not bourgeois enough but I will take a steakhouse like this over any fancy steakhouse, any day. $17.99 for a 6 oz Filet Mignon with two sides, and fluffy glossy yeast rolls with butter is just a dream. My steak was perfectly cooked and wonderfully tender as well. Reading the other reviews, sounds like quality is highly variable but whoever the chef was for my steak clearly knew what she/he/they was doing. The staff was super attentive and wonderful. I didn't know Summerville or the Charleston area had a Logans until today. We went to the Movies and decided to have an early dinner before hand. I was excited to see a Logans Steakhouse right next to the theatre. Everything was good from the wait time to the food. We didn't actually have a wait time. Got there about 4:30pm. The place was clean and not over crowded but not empty. The only true complaint I would have is the waitress didn't check on us enough, we had to flag her down every time to ask for a drink refill or boxes, whatever we needed. She never just stopped by to check on us. Our drinks were empty and sat for a long time while she walked by our table over and over until we finally flagged her down. The food- The Appetizer was decent. It was like a loaded baked potato essentially. I ordered the Filet with shrimp, salad and broccoli. The Steak was plain in flavor but A1 helped that. The tenderness was out of this world. It was so tender and juicy and cooked to perfection that I thoroughly enjoyed it, I ate the entire thing and usually I don't. Mwah! The salad was decent with a good Ranch. Not the best but good. Much better than other places I have experienced. I'm very picky about my Ranch. The Shrimp was cooked to perfection and tasted great. My husband loved his chicken. Overall it was a pleasant experience but I took off a star for the service. The meal was 65.. add in a tip of 15 to bring it to 80 for two people. The wife liked the Deluxe chicken sandwich . so all and will be back to try something else. What a scam!! Ate dinner inside tonight and the service was terrible. I ordered the $19 teriyaki steak medium well and it was cooked medium rare so i had to send it back to be cooked more because I'm pregnant and cannot eat raw beef. They also messed up my sides. By the time they brought my steak back my family was finishing up their dinners and the steak was overcooked and dry so I requested some more teriyaki sauce and instead of getting that so could eat my meal with my family our server who was a blonde girl named Kayla decided to have a full blown conversation with her girlfriends sitting two table down from us about boys. The restaurant was not busy at all and our server and the kitchen had no excuse to take so long. By the time I got my sauce my family had completely finished their dinners. So my crappy expensive dinner went into a togo box. Not to mention the brown haired female host was extremely rude and acted like she was miserable. I also ordered food togo pickup a few nights ago, i bought 4 large potato soups and two dozen rolls, the rolls were the size of chicken nuggets, old and stale and hard to chew. Im almost certain they cut rolls into fours to scam people who order togo because tonight while eating inside the rolls were bigger than my hand and very soft. The four large soups that were $6 a piece were put into tiny 8oz containers and only filled half way so i got about 4oz of potato soup in each cup, that's about 4 spoons worth of soup or literally 4 bites worth. It was $40 total for that togo pickup and they gave me half of the amount of food i paid for, if that. We always eat at the bar where are the bartenders are super friendly. We had a great meal on Friday. Steaks were perfect temps. Salad fresh and we were not rushed. They may want to change the name of this place to Logan's Outhouse. This restaurant is in need of a renovation. It's extremely dirty and worn out. The furniture, floors and bar are in need of a severe makeover. It's a shame as the staff, bartenders, waitresses and managers are on their game. Unfortunately, they are not ownership and the lack of investment in this restaurant is apparent. My wife and I sat at the bar and the service was spot on until a roach crawled across the bar making a B-line for my food. Of course, once that happened, we were no longer interested in eating our meal and advised the manager. If you have roaches in the main area, I would hate to see what's going on in the kitchen. The manager arrived quickly and was very professional and apologetic and took the meal off the menu. I have eaten here a couple of times and every time I have had a good experience with both food and staff. I came here yesterday and almost turned around when i saw the trash dumpster overflowing with trash on top and around the dumpster. This isn't the first time I have noticed this and it seems to be getting worse. My suggestion is to build an enclosure around the dumpster so customers do not see this trash when coming to the restaurant because it's a turn-off. If the restaurant looks dirty on the outside then one might think its the same on the inside. read more
