Years ago we ate here and had a horrible experience with stale bread and a bad smell as soon as you walked in.. We have recovered from that nightmare and bravely tried it again #1- The restaurant was clean and smelled good from the moment we arrived #2- the decor was your typical seafood restaurant decor. It was cute but not overdone. You definitely knew you were in a fish restaurant. #3- Service- we did not wait long for our server Alicia to come to the table. She was actually a lot of help. We were going to order sandwiches, but they do not come with any sides like french fries. And believe it or not a side of french fries is around 8 dollars! Crazy I know. So she showed us where we could get a dinner with fish and two sides, which would've been cheaper than ordering à la cart. And the bread this time was actually very good. So if we wanted to, we could make our own sandwich. She was not just informative and friendly, but she did not hover over us but checked back once in a while to make sure that we had our drinks filled up. She did really good job. #4- we tried the Walleye and the Perch. These are supposed to be their specialties. They were good - but a bit bland. They lacked seasoning but they seemed fresh and cooked well. The food came out hot which is always a plus. #5- I liked the coleslaw #6- They have an outdoor pavilion for eating in the sunshine #7- They have live music- we will have to check that out!! So all in all they redeemed themselves from the previous visit! If they added Hushpuppies to their menu that would be great!!

Father's Day here was Tremendous!!! Opened at 1:00pm & line was very long!!! Everybody was served in very short time!!! Food was hot, staff was great!!!! Very nice job!!! Dad's had a free beer! Even packed, from appetizers to entrees were amazing!!! Always have the old boating decor that's very interesting!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Hair found in with my fries ! Not mine !!

Server was not friendly at all. Very short and abrupt. Had to ask her to explain the special. When I wanted a baked potato, she said there are no subs on the special and walked away. Food came within a reasonable amount of time. First bite of perch... bone, which can be expected. As I'm eating my fries, I find the hair! I'm done. Showed server, asked her to let kitchen know. All she said was we take the check up to the counter. Husband let them know when paying, they say they all wear hats. No real concern. Took the beer off our bill !! This was our first and LAST time here!!!

Served with tartar sauce, almost wish they had Old Bay seasoning on the table but was really good! Fresh Lake Erie Yellow Perch

Went with family on a Friday night and it was packed! I ordered the Perch dinner (smaller version). Fries were good too! Server could have come by the table more and refilled my water but to be fair its water and everyone else was drinking. The atmosphere was cool anf nautical, wish the place was a bit bigger as felt a bit crammed but awesome place to eat and bigger portions!

This restaurant had such a warm and welcoming vibe as soon as we set foot in the door. It seemed like we were going back in time, in the best way possible. The owner was walking around, greeting customers, and making sure that everyone was taken care of. Right down to helping an elderly gentleman take his coat off and get seated. This is a rarity anymore. Our server Makenzie didn't miss a beat, despite it being a packed house on a Friday night. I had a cherry mule cocktail, which was excellent. And we started out with a salad and appetizer platter. Everything arrived quickly but was timed well enough that we didn't feel rushed between entrees. I ordered the Lake Erie perch platter with fries and coleslaw. It was all fresh, hot, and delicious. The coleslaw needs a bit of work, though. They were very generous with the sauces for each entree. My hubby got the Delmonico steak and shrimp dinner. The steak was cooked to perfection! Very tasty, no A-1 sauce needed! The owner even checked in with us to make sure that our dinners were satisfactory. I ordered a slice of key lime pie to go! It was great! Overall, if you're looking for a top-notch seafood experience, look no further! We can't wait to return!

Brennan's is the BEST seafood in Cleveland but what sets them apart are the people. I've been coming here for all 40 years of my life and nothing has changed other than the faces. Ownership goes above and beyond to make it feel like home. Whether I sit at the bar with the wife enjoying live music or sitting down with the whole crazy family we always feel welcome. I'll be bringing my kids here and one day their kids!!

Visited on a slow night due to the weather. So we were seated right way. We got 2 fish and chips. Simple but so tasty. The service was quick (only 2 tables sat) and friendly. Food was out quick. Brendan's has a long history and you can feel it while sitting there. Definitely feel like you're in a fisherman's town. It's worth making the trip.

Historic fish house across the street from the Grand River. Picturesque outside and a collage of artifacts, signs, nautical items etc. Very eclectic. We really like the friendly staff and fun vibe. We first went on Sunday night but also returned Monday after discovering almost no restaurants are open on Monday. Excellent service and a lengthy menu with lots of choices. Over two nights we tried and liked Fresh Lake Erie Perch and Walleye, Virginia oysters on the half shell and fried and scallops. Oyster's were huge! Everything was great but the fresh cut fries were truly outstanding! The place was pretty packed both nights. Plenty of parking.

The Margarett Red Zin was decent--slightly peppery and fruity without being too sweet. The crab cake had good flavor, although it wasn't as chunky as I prefer, and the bottled-tasting remoulade didn't help. The Caprese salad seemed to have been introduced to balsamic and olive oil of rather questionable quality. The linguine with chopped clams, garlic, olive oil, parsley and Parmesan arrived less than warm, and the flavors never quite got acquainted. The grilled Mahi Mahi, however, was the bright spot. Well prepared, with mango, tomato, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro and cucumber salsa, finished with sweet Thai chili sauce. Good combination of flavors. We had specifically asked that the courses be served separately. We were assured they would be. They weren't. The appetizers and salads arrived together. Apparently, "separately" has become one of those words open to interpretation. Service otherwise was acceptable. But the restaurant was only about half full. That may not be a scientific measure of a restaurant's decline, but when the food and service seem to have deteriorated too, you begin to wonder. It just wasn't the same Lobster Pot I remembered. And unfortunately, I don't mean that in a good way

Ordered the "Linner" (buffet) which was hit or niss, more miss. Namely, I'll run down some particulars. Chicken parm? Ugh. Dry and coagulated. The breaded shrimp and Coconut shrimp-both greasy. Pulled pork- that was a winner. BBQ rib ends- a bit fatty, but tasty. Cod over lemon rice- was dry and unappealing. And so on.....hey, it's a buffet, and as I mentioned, some of the items were a bit lacking but you'll have that; oddly, struck me as not unlike a Golden Corral. Now here's the twist. Myself, I actually DID spring for the "all you can eat crab legs and steak", and they were both quite good, and the server was attentive to bringing out more on the regular. Just realize, it's like $69 for that option. Pricey? Depends on your indulgence for crab :-) . End of the day, a "meh" experience, and I probably wouldn't make the effort to return Show less

We were one of three cars in the parking lot. The way all this works is that food is brought out to you instead of a buffet style. This keeps the servers busy, which can lead to some delays. I opted to not get the crab, but did have everything else. I walk say that the majority of my food came out cold. Nothing had great flavor and nothing was tender. It was dry, rubbery and tasted like it was made previously and microwaved. Service was good, the place appeared clean, food disappointing.
