We were looking for a local Boba shop and "Brew it" popped up. We thought we would try it as we had never visited this establishment. This mostly drive-thru business offers a simple model of "drive up, order and leave". But where this place shines.. is it's staff. The young lady that took our order and ended up making our drinks was the most upbeat and happy service person we've encountered in a long time! She was quite helpful telling us how they serve our specific drinks that we ordered. We will definitely be returning for their delicious drinks! read more

This used to be my favorite coffee place in Atascadero. I moved to South county, but when I'm going to Atascadero I'll still stop by sometimes still. I have been exceedingly disappointed the last few times I've gone. Wrong orders, extra charges, over charged and poor customer service. During a recent visit, one of the employees didn't return my debit card and argued with me about it before I left after I was given my drink. When she went back to look, it was in fact still on the counter. And today, they burnt the bagel I ordered. Instead of making a new one, they spent 5 minutes scraping off the char and putting cream cheese on it to try to cover it up. Note to anyone: scraping it off doesn't make it look or TASTE any less burnt. I won't be going back anytime soon. There are other good coffee shops in town with better customer service. read more

I've always loved Brew-It for their boba and chia tea, but now I've found something new to love. Soup! I first tried the hearty split pea soup, and it was delicious. But I was overjoyed when I saw that Brew-It was selling clam chowder. And the best part? It's gluten-free!! I haven't had clam chowder in years! And this soup didn't disappoint. I am so picky when it comes to my chai and it is the best I have ever tasted. I don't know what they do but it's so good! I usually go to brew it for their blended drinks or sandwiches. I'm not particularly impressed by the coffee but the blended drinks are in my opinion the best in town. My favorite drink is the blended vanilla and my favorite sandwich is the BLT. They also offer gluten free bread and dairy free milk alternatives which is awesome. Beware: they will only toast your gluten free bread enough to warm it even if you say you want it super toasty. I've ordered smoothies here twice and the first time it was so extremely sweet I took two sips and then threw it out. The second time I asked for it to be barely sweetened and it was still way too sweet. The staff is friendly and helpful 9/10 times. read more

The coffee is tasty, the other drinks are good as well. They offer food, although I haven't really tried enough of the food to write about it in a review. I would give it 10 stars if I could! We live in Orange County and came up to Paso Robles to visits family and stumbled upon this drive thru coffee shop. I wish the OC had a place that was this friendly and good! This place makes me start my day off right! First of all, the new owners are smart because they put a menu up BEFORE you get to the window. There wasn't one before and it was frustrating. The staff has been very cheerful and warm. This morning I felt like my family was sending me off to work with a warm breakfast and a smile. If that weren't enough, their iced mochas are MAGIC. I have had some iced mochas in my life but I can't comprehend the deliciousness they achieve. Creamy and not too sweet. Very chocolatey but you can still taste the rich espresso. Oh how could I forget, their breakfast burritos are made by Sylvester's!!! When I saw their label on my burrito I couldn't stop myself from shouting, "Sylvester's? Wow. Pretty bad experience this morning, I ordered an iced-blended drink for my young one, and was handed a hot version. When I explained I ordered a blended drink, I got QUITE a bit of attitude back along with a "well no one told ME it was supposed to be blended!", but it was taken back and dumped over ice in the blender...okay, problem solved. It was then handed out, and I asked if I could get whipped cream. MORE snarky attitude ("well, YOU need to TELL me if you want whipped cream!") Finally get my drink, it's still slightly warm, but I just took it and left. I know people have rough days, but come on, it's just a freakin' coffee drink with some whipped cream. For $6 a drink, can I just get what I ordered? It's not a federal offense if you get it wrong, but don't get mad and give ME attitude over it. I just wanted the drink I ordered, not an early morning Friday argument. I've wanted to like this place so bad, mostly because the building is cute, it's a good location, and I love the logo. I've even given it multiple chances, going back after my first terrible experience to see if maybe it was just that one time that was bad, and I've been disappointed again. The drinks are fairly average. Their specialty drinks are meh. I ordered a Mexican hot chocolate my first time and it tasted super watered down. Worse, though, is the food. It seems that none of it is made fresh or in-house (which I can understand, as the building is tiny, but I'd rather they just didn't offer it). My partner ordered an oatmeal and it was instant. I was looking for boba tea and was told that this place to had it I was super excited when I drove up and found out that they did. I found out that they are a family owned business which I think is really neat. The customer service was amazing and super fast. They answered all my questions I had and we're really friendly. I wish I would have gone to this place earlier in my stay since I'm leaving the area soon. I will definitely stop to get a coffee here before I leave. I have been a regular customer of this coffee shop, spending $15 a visit and have always loved to be able to support a local small business. Several months ago, one of the employees was very rude and mouthy with me. Maybe she was annoyed because she had to close the store all by herself. I didn't say anything but stopped going for a couple months. Yesterday, I decided to give them another chance. I was happy when I pulled up to see that girl wasn't working and I was greeted by the business owner. I let her know before I ordered that I had a rewards card with a free drink (on each side of the card when you purchase 10 drinks, you get one free.) I didn't realize that I had filled both sides of the card already and was eligible to get two free drinks. She asked me if I wanted to use both, so I ordered my usual, a medium no-foam latte and a large coconut Boba with mango pearls and coconut milk. She informed me that I would have to pay for the large size and for the coconut milk because the "free" drink card was only good for up to $5. I had never been charged extra before when redeeming a free drink, so I was confused. I asked, "So then it's not any free drink like it says on your reward card?" She replied in a condescending tone, "Does it look like I can fit all that on this tiny card?!" I told her that I was sure she could figure something out and let her know I would be taking my business elsewhere as this type of treatment seemed to be a trend in her establishment. After I paid the $1.50 for my add-ons, she gave me back my rewards card and shut the window without saying a word. When my drinks were ready, she asked me to give her back the card that she had handed me by mistake and then shut her window again without saying thank you or apologizing. The WORST experience I've ever had. I will never be returning to a business who's owner treats their customers that way. read more
