The food is great! It always tastes fresh and the tater tots are nice and crispy! I did not like my latte, the espresso was a hard sour taste to get by. I tried adding more sweetener but it made the drink worse. Would order food again, but with a cider instead of latte

Love this corner coffee shop I stumbled upon during a trip to Santa Rosa. The reviews were spot on. The food is a hit! They have so many delicious baked goods that were absolutely delicious. I got a cranberry orange scone. It was perfect. Crisp on the outside but so soft and moist on the inside. Finding a good scone is hard, but these were absolutely incredible. From the drink menu, I ordered a matcha latte (my usual) and it was great. Alternative milks available. Loved the ambiance of this spot. Whether you're coming to get some work done or to hang out with friends, there was plenty of space. They also have alcohol available, so it's more than just a day time coffee shop.

Excellent coffee shop with plenty of space and welcoming of everyone! My decaf Americano was lovely and they get their pastries from a local bakery, Victory.

Lovely local spot! Ally friendly coffee and beer spot. Great vibes, friendly unobtrusive staff, and delicious coffee! I had the sweet latte with lavender chamomile flavor. Was meeting a friend and the outside patio was great for the visit. If I'm Santa Rosa again any time soon this is the spot you'll find me!

Had lunch and a sparkling water which was decent for a coffee shop - their menu isn't huge by any stretch. I'll have to order a coffee next time. It's located in the gay hood and has a nice vibe which is why we went. Plus I want to support the community.

"I finally stopped into Brew Coffee and Beer House, and wow--I'm so glad I did! I ordered the basic breakfast sandwich, and it blew me away. The English muffin was thick and fluffy (something I've never had before), and you can tell the eggs are fresh. The service was amazing--super attentive and friendly--and the whole vibe of the place is so laid back and inviting. I love that they feature handmade local jewelry and even sell funny stickers. Plus, they serve beer , which is wild for a coffee shop! I've lived in this area forever and can't believe I hadn't been here yet. I'll definitely be back! Super friendly, lotsa seating. Peeps just hanging out on a Wednesday afternoon. Spicy chicken sandwich wasn't spicy, but still really good. Unicorn latte flight was ok. Only one really stood out from the rest.

Food: 5/5 I had a bagel and breakfast sandwich. Both were really good. Lots of flavor and it was really yum Drinks 1/5: peppermint mocha had chunks at the bottom (not in a good way) and the flavor was not consistent throughout the whole drink. I had Crooks peppermint mocha and it was wayyyyy better. I also had gingercardamon latte. It was just okay. The flavor did not wow me at all. Overall I would say food is good, but pass on the drinks

I love the story here .

Excellent service and delicious breakfast sandwiches . My husband loved the smoked salmon and bagel . I loved the breakfast sandwich with fig jam . I also enjoyed the cold brew. My husband had hot coffee. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing even with our pup . We will be back !

What a little treat in Santa Rosa. Great place to grab a bite and coffee while you relax in the sun or get some work done. One of the best oatmilk mochas I have ever had, top 5. We will be back soon to try the food and relax on the patio. What a vibe.

I sat at the bar and was served by the owner of the Pub, who is from the UK. I loved chatting with him about the pub and all the fun things that go on there. I happened to come in on Trivia Night, which gets a decent crowd! For dinner, I ordered the Braised Beef Guinness pie and a Guinness to go with it. The pie comes out steaming hot with a nice layer of browned mashed potatoes on top. There is real crust to this kind of pie. Underneath the mashed potatoes is more like beef stew. Large chunks of tender beef and vegetables are sitting in a delicious Guinness stew. On the side, a fresh salad to go with it. For $24 the portion you get is perfect and along with a good pint of beer this is the way to go. I will definitely be back to try some of their other food!

My wife and I had just visited Abbey Tavern this past weekend, a premier Scottish pub in the City, and we expected a similar atmosphere. However, the moment we showed up, we were met with great disappointment. The Goose & Fern is honestly a terrible place to watch a sports match: there was only a single TV mounted in the back corner of the restaurant, the TV wasn't particularly large, and the speakers had been turned completely off. What a bust. Although the food was decent, especially the Shepherd's pie -- which came piping hot in a small cast iron skillet, the service was downright dreadful and almost non-existent. We never received waters (or were even asked if we wanted beverages), our table wasn't given enough silverware, we were never checked on during the meal, and we were waiting around for 30 minutes twiddling our thumbs before somebody from our party finally went up to try to pay for the check. In hindsight, a tip was not warranted for the lack of service. Overall, Yelp grossly misled me on The Goose & Fern. This is not a spot I would stop by again to watch a sporting match. If you're in this part of Santa Rosa, do yourself a favor and head over to Dave and Busters down the street where they have a bunch of massive screens, tons of beer options, and service that will far surpass what you're getting here.

I made a reservation for 6pm on the deck as it had seatbacks and my husband has a bad back and can't sit on a picnic table. It's an elevated section above the beer garden, which that night had a singer with guitar. Service was pleasant though a little slow with drinks but they were pretty busy. We both had margaritas to start, which were $16 plus $3 for call brand so $19 each. Pretty good but not too strong. I then had the Hopmunk hefewisen beer which was only $8, much more reasonable. I had the Biergarten cheeseburger on a pretzel bun, cooked perfectly medium rare. Served with caramelized onions, bacon, smoked Gouda and a beer cheese, it was tasty but pretty messy! Cost was $23 plus I subbed a kale Caesar for $2 which was good but not worth the hype as a little dry. Husband had the grilled mole chicken with mole sauce and Spanish rice for $24. It was a large portion with two pieces of chicken and he enjoyed it. We then saw a show in the stone tavern next to the beer garden. It's an intimate venue with not a bad view in the house. We had seats because my husband is disabled so we're right in the front row. Otherwise it was standing only. Great acoustics and venue. I would go there often if I lived in Sebastopol, as it's right near the Barlow and downtown. Definitely recommend for food, entertainment and atmosphere.

So I've come to hop monk Tavern before, but I've only really had their drinks. However today me…read moreand my friend decided to get food here. We ordered the buffalo wings as well as the steak and frites and their chicken Philly sandwich. The steak plate was pretty good and the wings were also relatively good. The steak does have chimichurri on it and the salad is really good as well or the coleslaw. I can't remember what it came with. The wings taste pretty fresh and they do give you blue cheese and ranch with them, as well as vegetables like carrots and celery. However you are paying $17 for eight wings just a heads up. My friend personally did not enjoy the chicken plate. She felt like the chicken did not taste fresh but quite frankly, we were unable to get our waiters attention throughout our whole time seated there so at the end, we decided to just leave it without saying anything. The service is the reason for the lower rating. I think the food was pretty decent, but the service was not up to par. Service here was mediocre. I will add that I do not say that lightly and I normally do not like saying that about restaurants. I normally understand when service is off if the restaurant is full however this restaurant was pretty empty. At first our server came around twice and then we ordered and once after she brought out the waters. My friend had to ask her twice to bring a lemon for her water because it seems that the server forgot, although from what I could tell, she was really only serving our table and maybe two others. When the food came out I asked if she could refill my water. She said she would be back with more water. However, she literally did not come back until 30 minutes later and that was after my friend had to flag her down and ask her if she could bring us more water. I should also say that this was after we had finished the entire meal, which at that point water was really not necessary. What really pushed the experience over the limit was the server mentioning to us when we were paying that she got off the clock early because it was so slow. Meanwhile I sat there wondering if this was the reason that her service was so awful. While sitting there eating, I did notice that in general service was a problem for this restaurant... I noticed another customer walked in and sat for a while and wasn't spoke to. When he asked them if they were still serving food, he was responded to rudely. I also noticed another customer asked in regard to the menu and another server told him that the menu was over there on the other side without giving any direction. Aesthetically speaking, the spot is really cute. There's a lot of lights. They have a lot of plants however, based on the service, I don't think I would come back here. My friend who has been coming here for many years was actually shocked at how bad the service was today and said that this was pretty abnormal. Who knows maybe it was an off day. Either way after being unattended for more than 30 minutes and ignored it didn't really leave any reason to come back here again.
