First time visiting Manhattan Beach and my wife and I decided to stop by to grab a drink and a bite! The food was really good, I had the Tokyo Bbq Smash Burger and a picante margarita and my wife had the Steak Frites that paired really well with the pinot noir. Our server Sabrina gave us recommendations from the menu and she did not disappoint! She came around multiple times to check on us and made sure everything was okay. We ordered the chicken pot pie, roasted cauliflower, and the Smash Burger Americana with onion rings. The roasted cauliflower was hands down the best part of the meal. It was seasoned so well and honestly addictive. I could not get enough of it. The chicken pot pie came out piping hot and was really good, super comforting and flavorful. My only small wish is that it had pastry on the bottom too, since it would have soaked up all the juices. The burger was fine but nothing special. I think it could have used some lettuce and tomato to help tie everything together. The onion rings were solid. First off, the appetizers and mains were a bit overpriced. The spinach dip was $18 and the (2) lamb tacos with mixed greens dressed only in a vinaigrette was $28. The rose spritzer was $8 and fries were $8. I spent $67 for these items. The lamb tacos had mostly fat pieces and was half full. The salad did not have any toppings just light dressing. Very cute restaurant and a perfect dining experience when the weather is nice. We sat by the window which was open with a nice breeze and a perfect view of the ocean. The establishment was nice and clean and the service was good (I love the decor in the bathrooms). Everyone was friendly and I want to give a shoutout to Dylan... he was amazing and very accommodating (I changed my order 3 times sorry Dylan! :) I ordered the green goddess salad, it was very tasty and refreshing on this nice summer day. It was loaded with jicama, grilled corn, avocado and cherry tomatoes. They do have an option to add protein as well. Everyone I dined with enjoyed their food, although they did say the French fries were super crispy and over cooked. We got their: Housemade Pão de Queijo Fuch's Office Burger Hamachi roll Steak Frites Churro Bites Spritz Social Mango Aperol Sour Their pão de queijo came out warm and fresh, and it was so cheesy. I loved their hamachi roll that was light and refreshing, which paired great with their fruity cocktails. Their steak was cooked a perfect medium rare, and the skinny fries were so crisp. The burger we got came with Gruyère and blue cheese, arugula, bacon, and caramelized onions with a garlic aïoli, and every single bite was so good. Their happy hour is Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 PM and Saturdays 9 PM to close. They have a lot of great deals all for $10 including their sushi rolls and chicken wings, along with some cocktails and wines. Street parking can definitely be a struggle here so I do recommend coming early to do a bit of shopping before you eat. highly recommend stopping. read more

Came back here this past Sunday since Manhattan Beach was having their snow festival with ice slides and snow play and fireworks for the kids. Everywhere was busy and we were lucky enough to get a seat. We were served quickly and our server was very attentive. There was a lot of people at the bar and standing around tables, the restaurant was very accommodating to large parties, even those that didn't have a place to sit. We ordered onion rings, which is always good. It was nice and crispy. Kids had a cheeseburger, which they ate it all. Hubby ordered Fuchs office burger again, which he really liked. I tried a Mary's Chinese chicken salad., they give you quite a bit of salad, my only problem was that they don't give you that much chicken. You are literally poking around for chicken so you can have it in a bite. Dressing tasted good and veggies were fresh. If they added more chicken, it would be a much better salad. When we arrived, the hostess wasn't at the stand, so an older bald gentleman working behind the bar greeted us and told us there was about a three-hour wait. I explained that I had a reservation, and shortly after, the hostess came over, confirmed it, and seated us immediately. Our waitress was amazing (I wish I had gotten her name)! The food was delicious, and the drinks were great. What was confusing, though, was that we were seated near the hostess stand on the patio, so we could clearly hear guests arriving. About 15-20 minutes after we were seated, a group of five walked in without a reservation and requested a table. They were accommodated despite being told there was supposedly a three-hour wait. To start, we had a 20 minute wait and they texted us when our table was ready. We were down the pier so we had to rush back - but our table was still ready for us. I had a wonderful MLK lunch at this location. When I came in, I was pleasantly surprised at the ambience, considering the name. I thought it was going to be more of a rustic bar. I ordered the Fuchs office burger. I was surprised when my food came because I wasn't expecting such a nice looking plate. I really appreciated that it came with fries and a side salad and It was nicely seasoned. The burger was a double patty, but it's my first time seeing a restaurant use a longer loaf which I thought was interesting. My burger was pretty good and I was able to finish all of it although I did remove half of the bread since I am cutting out carbs a bit. The service was really good.
