    The sloth head
    Gene G.

PAIN KILLER! They are home of the pain killer. It is the best pain killer I have ever had. Ask for it anytime you are there. The bartenders love making the drink, Claire and Summer make the best ones. This is my favorite hole in the wall sports pub. The staff is always very kind about putting it on the game you want to watch. As for sports watching this is one of the best places around, just be careful of the corner of the bar by the dart board. It smells like pee pee and yeast. As for food, not very good to be honest. We mostly go here to get drinks and to be rowdy which they tolerate. They even let us wear the sloth head. We love the staff and the fair prices. This is a locals spot. Doesn't matter what their rating is people will go. It is very deserving of recognition as the top soccer bar in the US. I don't even like soccer and no matter how much I complain they keep it on.

Coming here wasn't our first choice. We originally went to a different restaurant down the street, but after sitting down and placing our order, they told us we couldn't stay because one of our party members was underage. So, we decided to walk down the street and give this place a try instead. The first thing I want to point out is how accommodating and polite the staff were. None of us wanted alcoholic drinks, but if you're the type of person who enjoys having a drink, catching a game on TV, and relaxing, this is definitely that kind of spot. When we arrived, it wasn't busy at all, which made for a very smooth experience. I can't say how it might be during peak hours, but if you want to avoid a rush, I'd recommend going a little earlier. We ordered a pizza along with a few other items, and everything was spectacular. The pizza, in particular, stood out--it had a perfectly crunchy crust on the outside while staying soft on the inside, loaded with toppings, and packed with flavor. Honestly, it was one of the best slices I've ever had. Would I come back? Absolutely--hands down. I'd also recommend this spot to anyone. Just keep in mind that my experience was with a small group of three, so your visit might feel different if the place is crowded. We sat at the bar, chatted with the bartender, and had a smooth, enjoyable time overall. The menu has a solid variety of food, and if drinks are your thing, their selection of wine, beer, and cocktails is impressive. Whether you're looking for a game day hangout or just a comfortable place to relax, this restaurant is worth checking out.

Table for 2 for Dinner As I approached, I noticed the restaurant has its own very small parking lot. I was lucky enough to find one of the few open spots. We walked through the patio, passing by tables shaded with umbrellas and a pergola, I saw a server chatting with another group. I asked if we could seat ourselves, and she said yes, so we grabbed a table outside. The place definitely leans toward a dive-bar feel. Our server came over after a few minutes with our menus. They have a solid beer lineup--drafts, bottles, and cans--along with a food menu that offered more variety than I expected. Wifey went with the margherita pizza paired with a Carlsberg Pilsner, while I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with a side of coleslaw with a Scofflaw Basement IPA. Our beers came out quickly, though I thought my IPA could have been a little colder. We also had three TVs nearby showing the game, which was a bonus. About 15-20 minutes later, the food arrived looking fresh and better than we anticipated. My sandwich was perfectly crispy with great flavor, and Wifey really enjoyed her pizza--so much that she ended up packing some to take home. Our server, Stella R., mentioned she was new, but she was attentive throughout. The beer selection was strong, and the food was fresh and tasty. While the interior had that true dive-bar darkness when I walked through to the restroom, it turned out to be much bigger inside than I expected. Overall, our first visit to Brewhouse Cafe was a good one. 3.5 stars Instagram: @whatsthenextmemory

Watching games here premier league la liga or champions feels like you're at the stadium and you can watch you team even if there's many more games they play 10 different games at the same time

Food was good (tator rounds were tooooo salty-couldn't eat them) Service was prompt Ambiance was outside with lotsa of Atlanta United soccer fans!

We had a great time watching the Wild Card games at Brewhouse. It's a really fun and kind of divey sports bar on the inside, and on the outside (on a nice day), it's great for people watching in L5P. Our visit earlier this month was during one of the crazy Atlanta snow days, and our server, Andy, was one of the only people who was able to come in that day. Despite being the only server on the floor, he killed it! He was friendly, checked in on us frequently, and brought me a side of ranch free of charge. The food was delicious. We had the chicken empanadas as an appetizer, and they were by far the best I've had at a restaurant in Atlanta. Try both house-made sauces! My husband and I both got burgers which were sizable and came with a large helping of fries/tots. We can't wait to be back!

Great food and great service!!!! The wings and fried shrimp are my favorites! You will not be disappointed eating here and good outside seating. It's in Little Five Points so there outside area give you a nice view of the area.

Insane wings were very good if you like true spicy food. Do not get the pretzel unless you are drinking, it's pretty oily.

I had the grapefruit rosemary margarita while one of my friends tried the special open cask offering. Now, lets get into the food...specifically the FRIES. The apps and entrees we ordered were so good, yet nothing holds a candle to those super crispy fries and the Belgian aioli that comes alongside. Literally, everything was good (shoutout to the beef tartare, goat cheese fritters, tuna melt, smash burger, and crispy chicken sandwich) but I doubled back to get an extra order of fries to go. The next time in 2024 when I was in the area, they were closed for a remodel. Today was the day. The beer selection was fantastic and so was the food. I got the pork sandwich with greens on top. It was delicious, but it could've not had juices leaking so much? Maybe cheese below and above the meat to try to keep some of the juices off the bun or maybe more bun toasting? The fries were amazing and I should've gotten the aolie initially, but didn't get it until I saw another table with an order. It was delicious. The service was very good. The server had good knowledge of the beers, food, and was friendly. This is one of the best beer bars in the US. The Atlanta area is fortunate to have two killer beer bars, the other being the Brick Store Pub in Decatur.

Food which is definitely elevated in both taste and variety from traditional pub food. We arrived at opening on Saturday and were glad we did because the place quickly filled up. We shared a flight of truly special beers (Brick Store has a casque mark certification). It was hard to choose a favorite. There was a 2016 La Trappe Quadrupel- strong and dark but smooth. Next was a 2018 barrel aged barleywine, then a 2021 mixed culture saison- sour and tart but flavorful, last was a 2020 raspberry lambic : acidic and sour but a wonderful sweet taste. It was fermented with wild yeast. The inside has a very quintessential old pub vibe. For lunch we ordered sage pierogis as an appetizer and the arugula salad with a balsamic vinaigrette and a scoop of flavorful chicken salad. Both were yummy. The only drawback was that our server seemed aloof and somewhat distant, which put a slight damper on an otherwise lovely experience.
