I have been saving my money to get veneers done on my front four teeth, due to an accident I was in as a child. My two front teeth were dark. I went to 6 different consultations with 6 different dentist because I wanted to make sure I found the perfect dentist. This was something I have been saving and waiting for, for awhile. I was super excited! I found Dr. Kim through Yelp and I saw the great reviews he had. I decided to meet with him. Our initial consultation was great. I told him how I needed my front four to be one color (because I had the dead teeth that made my teeth all different shades) and that I wanted to bleach my teeth (I've never been able to because of the two dead teeth) so I wanted my veneers to be white. He said he could do this. He didn't show me any colors that day, but I didn't know any better to ask. I heard him say to his assistant, when something wasn't perfect with the pictures taken of my mouth, that "it needed to be done right." This made me feel good, because I thought I was with a dentist who really cared about quality. While they were taking impressions I heard Dr. Kim say that would get "A1". I had no idea what this was at the time. And his ASSISTANT said "no, I'm going to order B1". Again, I had no idea what these numbers meant, as I have never has this done before. The doctor rushed my order which was really nice of him. He had it done in 5 days instead of 2 weeks. I was really appreciative of this. I came back after after wearing the golden, fake teeth in my mouth for 5 days. I was teary-eyed driving there because since my accident, 20 years ago, I had wanted white teeth when I smiled. This was the "Big Day". He put them in and we looked in the mirror. I was teary eyed and the bright, doctor's light made everything look okay. I hopped in the car, pulled down the mirror and I was stunned to see yellow veneers next to my white teeth. I felt like my heart was ripped out, because I was waiting for this for so long and I was so disappointed! I tried to convince myself that they weren't and I asked for everyones' opinion of them and they all said, "umm..they look natural" which was their nice way of saying they are sort of yellow. I went back to the dentist to show him my concerns and I was told that I could get "A1" for $800. So basically the shade that the DENTIST had originally said, when the ASSISTANT changed it!!!!! He said that he DOES see how it doesn't match with my white teeth, and proceeded to tell me that it's probably because I drink coffee. I kept telling him over and over again that I DON'T drink coffee! I was super offended. I also explained that I came to him because I had different colored teeth due to the accident. He said he could fix that, he did not because the "dead" teeth are so dark that you can see through the veneer. So I still have dark teeth and light teeth. I was never asked what shade I would like, or even given samples of shades. I NOW know that this should have happened before getting the veneers, but I was clueless on this procedure and just TRUSTED the doctor to take care of me and have my best interest at heart. And if their was a mistake like this, then I expected him to be caring and understanding and fix any mistakes of problems that were promised to be taken care of originally. He told me I would have to pay $800 for A1 veneers but that I would only have until Thanksgiving to do it. I even got a phone call saying "this deal (to fix my veneers) would "expire" soon, so i needed to do it soon"!! All in all, I just feel like I was a quick way to make money off of a Groupon Deal. I don't feel like I was taken care of properly. I am sad that I worked so hard to save money for this procedure and I feel taken advantage of. read more

I went here using a Groupon for an exam, x-ray, and cleaning. I was leary since it was a Groupon, but there were some good reviews, so I gave it a shot. I'm glad I did. This is a great dental office. The staff were friendly and customer-oriented. They sent text message appointment reminders. The hygienist did a great job and was accommodating to my comfort. Dr. Lee was friendly too and explained her findings and options in easy to understand language. I knew I needed an inlay or crown prior to my visit. Their pricing was reasonable, and I proceeded with having them do it. They made a temporary first which fit perfect. I came back 2 weeks later, and the permanent one was installed. It also fits perfect. Dr. Lee did a great job. There is other work that I could have done that they provided a treatment plan (a quote) for, but they were not pushy about it. Overall, a great dental experience (as good as can be considering it is dental work which is not pleasant). read more

I knew I needed root canal/crowns and tried this place based on reviews and Groupon after trying to find a dentist to replace the one I have been going to for over 30 years (now semi-retired).. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was one of the best I have ever had so highly recommended. The female dentist did a good job on the crown that she did but Dr. Brian not so much. The crown he did has been criticized by a few other dentists now. He also told his receptionists to charge me extra right in front of me for no reason at all even though I had a Groupon and did the exact same procedure twice. His treatment plan for me was to get crowns on all my teeth for over $13,000. It has been a few years since I last went to Brian Dental Care and I have had my teeth repaired by my old dentist and others for a fraction of the cost. Their assessment is that I have to get the crowns I did here redone in the future. The root canal that Dr. Brian did was praised though. read more

The office is clean and orderly. The front friendly office lady's made me feel welcome and comfortable. They are informative about their insurance but do not push it. I used their website to book an appointment, sent in a picture of my insurance and confirmed my appointment through text. I decided to start coming to this dentist after my husband raved about them. I have always had a welcoming experience and they have been honest with me from the beginning. My previous dentist always wanted a root canal for all cavities. Since coming here, they do anything possible to avoid a root canal and salvage the tooth. My family has been treated by Brian Dental Care for years now. I was first prompted by my parents to try Brian Dental Care back in 2018. I had been neglecting my dental hygiene for 7+ years due to irrational fears and anxieties as it relates to the dentist. Needless to say, I had A LOT of work and procedures to get through after my initial visit. Brian Dental Care carefully curated my treatment plan that took place over the course of two years and talked me through the insurance/financial arrangements. The office staff is always professional and kind. Dr. Ly is my routine dentist and has performed the majority of my cleanings, crowns, and fillings. She is always gentle and thorough, which is what someone like me needs. I recently had the experience of working with Dr. Kim for an unexpected root canal due to a crack in my tooth. He performed the procedure quickly and most importantly, painlessly (definitely made me rethink all the horror stories you hear about root canals). I am waiting for my crown as I type this review, but I am confident that the worst is over. For those concerned about COVID-19, the office has been adhering to policies to keep their staff and patients safe. Dr. Brian has been taking care of my teeth for over 8 years now and I must say that my teeth are in tip top condition! I started out as his guinea pig when he was in dental school. Then became his utmost grateful patient when he was a resident at a veterans hospital and after he started working at a private practice. He actually enjoys being a dentist and takes a great pride and care into what he does. Now, he has opened a new office with all the new, top of the line technology to serve his patients. This new office has all the new technologies... you can take x-ray from your chair and view it on a flat screen in front of you... watch a movie (via earphone) on the screen while getting your treatment, get a back massage (part of the chair). Plus, all the dental equipment is brand new and all the water (even water used to clean equipments) are specially treated (filtered and ionized or something). I've lived with my brother for most of my life and I know how anal he is about hygenine. I can guarantee that he will be the cleanest dentist you'd ever meet! I know some dentists can be yucky behind the door (like not cleaning all the instruments after each and every patient), but not this one.. he will make sure he does everything the right way.. the proper way...
