First time trying this spot out and was not disappointed. They have a very large menu but I'm glad because I like having different lunch options and not just breakfast (I almost always go for savory lunch). The service was good and the inside was very clean and updated looking. The portion for the price was on point I feel too. I ordered the German Benedict with potato pancakes in place of the usual English muffin. The flavor on the potato pancakes was definitely good and it came with 3 poached eggs that were perfectly cooked. The side of crepes to share were delicious as well, definitely would order again or try another flavor. My BF ordered the stuffed french toast and while it had great flavor, the French toast itself wasn't actually stuffed, it just had the "filling" between each piece - but again, the flavor was still good. I am furious with the experience I had at this restaurant this morning. I placed my order ahead of time thinking it would make things easier--only to show up and be told they accidentally gave my food to someone else. I get that mistakes happen, but what followed was completely unacceptable. I ended up waiting over 30 minutes for them to remake my order, and when I finally got it--it was still missing items. As if that wasn't enough, when I called to let them know, the employee on the phone didn't apologize, didn't try to help--she immediately started talking back to me with attitude. I asked to speak to a manager and she flat out refused, then hung up on me while I was still talking. That level of rudeness and complete lack of professionalism is shocking. I've never been treated so disrespectfully by someone in customer service. Whoever that employee was, she has no business working there. Briana's is a good breakfast spot with a HUMONGOUS menu. It's literally the size of an encyclopedia. When I ordered scrambled eggs and toast, to my amusement, there was almost a look of disappointment on the servers face. My Gold standard for breakfast is Buttermilk in Geneva, but we were in a hurry and Briana's is right around the corner so we stopped in on Mother's Day. Boom! they hit it outta the park! Tijuana skillet was awesome, Pancakes were awesome, coffee was awesome, and the service was awesome. I heard the same from everyone else. Guess we have a shorter drive for breakfast now, lol. We were seated right away and then waited 10 minutes for the waitress to take our order. She asked if we wanted coffee and then immediately left. We have been coming to Brianna's for years and the service and food is always fantastic. We were delighted they were open this morning for Christmas and appreciated their staff. However we were shocked to discover the cost of one soda has increased to $6 EACH. We even checked with the hostess as we left to make sure it wasn't a mistake and she said yes, it had increased. This is absurd. We may still come here for breakfast, but we'll be having water. I'm not sure how any place could justify this. read more

So, first experience here. Not entirely impressed. We walked in and the place is small and the decor is very plain. The manager (I assume he's the manager) walks us to our table. Friendly guy but a little annoying. He stood at our table for about 3 minutes asking us how we heard about them and where we normally go to eat and all that. Just let us sit down and look at the menu. The menu, ok selection but almost the same thing throughout. My wife ended up getting the Belgium Waffle. Eh, it's a plain waffle, how bad can it be. She bent her fork trying to cut it but she said it tasted good. I ended up with the German Benedict. Poached eggs, bacon, potato pancakes with hollendaise sauce. It was ok, but the bacon was not crispy (but I know not everyone likes it that way) and the potato pancakes were mushy and wet. Hollendaise sauce did not taste homemade at all. But, at least they can make a Poached egg properly and it came with 3. Server was not completely attentive. Coffee wasn't refilled until I asked. Bathroom was not really clean and was out of paper towels. I'm not sure about this place. read more

This place is small but amazingly comfortable and feels open. The decor is simple and pleasing to the eye...nothing garish or overly done. You can look around and see the perfect touches without the over-done decor so many places do. Waitress was so nice. Menu is great with lots of items that are different than every breakfast lunch place around. We had the garlic parm grilled cheese and it was so amazing and the fries were best around...McDonalds - come get their fry recipe. Honestly - and this may be small to some people, but I would have given this 5 as PERFECT but they use what tastes like a mayonnaise based garlic dressing - sorry but just the worst garlic is mayonnaise based. Is it typical for you to charge $3.75 for 1 x Café Vanilla & then only half fill the cup? Perhaps you ought to stop your online reserve system because your waitresses are too busy to even find out what a person who has already waited 10 minutes for their order what they want, & because, as I was informed, they don't know your whole/actual order 'because they ran out of printer ink.' Tried to support this restaurant last Thursday, placed more than clear order, over an hour in advance, to be delivered to my car at 12 pm. My daughter works 3 minutes away but only has between 12 & 12:30 for lunch... didn't get to her till 12:20 & had to woof down cold 'breakfast fare' along with my pricey 1/2 cup of coffee. I drove over 35 minutes away but I was there at 11:58. Instead, got a rude attitude from a blond waitress who didn't have time to even hear what I was there for. Ten minutes after order should have been received, got out of the car; waited to get attention to no avail, asked & told to wait while waitress finished w/one table & then went to another & was clearly pissed that I tried to let her know what I was there for. I then went to my car, called, and was told my food had been ready (guessing at noon because it was cold by the time I received it). Can't believe the audacity of your charging a 'service fee' for this absolute lack of service! Perhaps you want to go out of business? Certainly didn't impress. read more

Food came in under 10 minutes after ordering even at the end of brunch rush our order came out perfect and delicious. Would absolutely recommend to anyone, fairly priced and variety of breakfast and lunch options this will definitely become of my usual stops. read more

The food is really great here and the service is great too but they keep randomly boosting the prices. Last time I got food here I even double checked the online menu price first but when I was charged it was a dollar more than what was on their menu and what was online. All the server said was that they increased prices in the new year. This is the second time that this has happened, so I probably won't be going here again. First and foremost, let me just say what a load of crap it is for a reviewer to rate a place, especially a 1 star, when they haven't even stepped foot into the business. And for Yelp to allow it, is equally shameful. As for Briana's itself, the food is in the 3 range. It is your typical breakfast spot. Pancakes, Waffles, Omelettes, Skillets, etc. It's pretty tough to screw breakfast up. I've been twice (first time when it was Briana's Taqueria) and both times it was average breakfast food. Nothing to knock my socks off. Service is decent, but again, nothing mind blowing. Took food a while to get out to us. We were the only ones in the place and it still took 25 min to get breakfast. My wife ordered a skillett, and I ordered a wrap. Nothing complicated, yet 25 minutes. Not sure why? Cosmetically, this place needs a lot of help. Totally agree with other reviewers about what they saw. This place has been open for months now, and there is still blue tape on the walls, the booths are tiny, like don't bother trying to get four into them if your four are on the larger size. The restaurant is larger than someone's bedroom, and larger than a small classroom. It easily sits 60 people if filled to capacity. I doubt this place has even seen half of that at one time though. What turns me off the most about this restaurant though, is the fact that they have blatantly taken the menu from a restaurant less than a mile from them and are using it as their own. I'm not talking about same items with different names, I am talking word for word menu items that are exactly the same. Mamma Bear, Papa Bear, Lumberjack Skillet, etc. As far as I can tell, they added four "wraps" to their menu to make it different. Everything else is EXACTLY the same. I asked the owner of the other restaurant if there was any relationship between the two. He said there was not, and I have no reason not to believe him. If you can't be original with your menu items, then you are nothing more than "Meh" to me. For those familiar with this area, there used to be a place called Moonstruck that was in the spot next door to Briana's. It was 10 times better than Briana's. And it failed. Doesn't bode well for Briana. Doubtful I will be back a third time. read more

I'm really shocked at the few reviews I just read. Me and my husband absolutely love breakfast here along with everyone who has every accompanied us. Portions are amazing skillets are super tasty and best of all, they have gluten free pancakes for me or anyone with intolerance or allergy. They are incredibly tasty. Who cares if the tables are empty, the problem is no one knows about it tucked away in the strip mall. A little good marketing and they will be fine. Above average compared to other local breakfast spots.
