It's a pleasant spot to have breakfast or lunch, but when my Savoury chicken salad arrived, the sticker attached to a segment of green apple revealed that 1) This was a Granny Smith apple, and 2) The chef had likely neglected to rinse the fruit before cutting it up. I pointed this out to the server, who had forgotten to bring the dressing. She merely smirked and walked away. When she returned with the dressing, I again pointed out the foreign object and also asked her to have the chef remake the salad. She took it away, but her facial expression spelled out a-n-n-o-y-e-d. The replacement salad was similarly thrown together, but thankfully sans sticker. I consumed it, it was actually rather good, and I experienced no ill effects. But I am not comfortable with dining in restaurants where sloppiness in the kitchen goes unchecked. read more

This restaurant operates like a well‑oiled machine. The hostess was incredibly accommodating, and our waitress, Debbie, couldn't have been nicer. Our food arrived hot and delicious, and our coffee and water were consistently refilled without us ever having to ask. We requested to speak with the manager, and he personally came out to welcome us. We explained the terrible service we received from another breakfast place in Bartlett. He even acknowledged the terrible service we experienced at another breakfast place in Bartlett and apologized on their behalf -- which is more than we ever received from that establishment. We've been here several times, and the service is excellent every single visit. Yes, we will absolutely be returning, and we'll be sharing our experience with our neighbors in Woodland Hills. I ordered the corn beef hash skillet today and it had an over powering mustard taste. So I called to ask if the corn beef hash was homemade and she said yes, and I explained that it had an overpowering mustard taste and she said thank you so much for letting me know and hung up. Breakfast here is really good and very affordable. We usually order the two eggs any style with sausage, hash browns, and a pancake for under $20, including delivery. Delivery is fast, which we really appreciate since we prefer delivery or pickup because of COVID. They do a great job with breakfast. Claim Jumper used to have a breakfast buffet, but it was expensive and not very good--trays were often half empty. No surprise they closed. IHOP is also a solid breakfast spot, at least from what I remember before COVID. AppleVilla is good too, but a bit pricey. Overall, Savoury is the best breakfast place around. read more

We've been here multiple times. The first few times we figured people just have bad days but it's been a pattern. You feel unwelcome as soon as you walk in. The manager, tall, dark hair, in particular looks moody and makes it known. The food wasn't bad but nothing exceptional. Plenty of other places with better food and service. Savoury just gives you that true small town vibe we have in Bartlett, while serving up some awesome breakfast (& delicious mimosas ). This place is my favorite breakfast place, have been here multiple times and it never disappoints. Never had a bad experience here. All the staff is friendly and the kitchen is very quick, your food comes out in less than 10 minutes. The portions are filling, and the food tastes fresh. My favorite is the Gyro skillet. They do have Gluten free pancakes but not bread. Their cappuccinos are really good. They do have alcoholic drinks here too, I've tried their mimosa and an espresso martini before and they're both amazing. The atmosphere in here is family friendly and calm. It does get crowded on weekends during peak hours so I would suggest going earlier or making a reservation. Highly recommend this place!! read more

I have visited here a few times for brunch with family and friends. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this cafe as it is very family friendly. We were seated within 10 minutes, which was really nice. The issue here as the service provided. The waiter took time to take our order and give us food. Also, we were given attitude when asking for straws and condiments, which really altered our experience of the place. The food here was really good! I ordered the grilled cheese dipper as well as the veggie panini. For my beverage, I ordered the Ghirardelli Hot Chocolate. The grilled cheese dipper is so unique as it comes with a grilled cheese, tomato soup, and fries. Both food items were a great combo to get because I was able to dip the panini in the tomato soup as well. The hot chocolate was warm and perfect after coming from the cold weather. I am a big fan of the selection on the menu and I got great service when I was at this establishment. I tried the skillets, the soup, and the coffee to get a better idea of how good this was and it did not disappoint! I am writing this review as a patron who is gluten free. The menu does not indicate anything that is gf or gfa. I asked the waitress and she offered to talk to the kitchen. They offered plain gf pancakes or some of the salads. I went with the Spinach Cobb which was beautifully presented and very fresh. The salad was very large and I took half home. The staff was attentive and the restaurant was cozy and clean. This is the cafe where I bring family from out of town because of the extensive menu. There is always something that will hit the spot. Great location for private events. We had our daughters shower there they allowed us to come in early and decorate. We had appetizers to start along with a full course meal that was for 35 ppl but they definitely made more than what we had bc we had left overs for ppl to take home. The location is perfect on the weekend bc there's no one in the area and parking is not a issue. The patio are is also real nice during the spring and summer. Stopped in around lunch time, we have never been here this late in the day. They don't have a large lunch menu but it is a bit different/unique. I love that all the sandwiches include soup. There were a few hidden gems, Homemade Falael...yes please! But I had a taste for a club, and the Chicken club with grilled chicken, hard boiled egg, Bacon, mixed greens and mustard sauce. I'm in, it was really good, the mixed green in place of the overly large slice of iceberg was a massive improvement. Also the chicken was freshly cooked and warm. It was a great sandwich. I actually wished I had more of the french toast even though I was getting full. I ended up having leftovers to take home due to the big servings. Service wasn't the quickest and there was a little confusion. However, our waitress was friendly and our food came out in a decent time after ordered. Overall, this is a good brunch spot. If I'm in the area again, I'd consider coming back and exploring the rest of their menu.
