My first time here with seven family members. So far, I am disappointed. The men's restroom was out of service. Horchata was good. I ordered a fish taco and chicken taco. The tacos came on flour tortillas, which is a bit strange, because I'm used to having tacos on corn tortillas. I guess that's why they call it brick and flour, duh. But they do have an option for you to order your tacos with corn tortillas.
This place is super convenient and offers great food, just a 5-minute walk from my house. They have my favorite green salsa, which I love to add to everything. I often get their carne asada nachos and top them with the green salsa, it's incredibly tasty. Their burritos and tacos are also fantastic. I always enjoy my meal with a refreshing horchata. The only downside is that they don't have a public bathroom, and parking can be tough since it's shared with several other businesses, but that's not a huge deal. Despite that, I highly recommend this spot for a delicious lunch, especially the burritos with their green salsa, you won't be disappointed. The prices are great too, especially compared to other places that have raised their prices. It definitely beats McDonald's down the street!
I called to place an order to grab on our way home from LA. I posted the receipt and when he said the total I was kinda surprised because it wasn't that high at my last visit. When I arrived, the food was ready. I left a five dollar tip and it wasn't until I got to the car that I saw that I was charged a service fee of almost $4 dollars. I was not told about a service fee. It just all seems pretty shady. I called and asked what that service fee was for? They said it was "because food costs have gone up" If you look at the menu, I posted you can see that they raised prices up to two dollars on items. So they not only raise the prices, but they are charging a high service fee. They definitely lost my business. There are way too many places to eat in LA that are not charging service fees. The food is good. I will give them that and portions are generous . The house special bowl the meat was huge and not easy to eat. Everything else was good. I understand, food. costs are through the roof and I prepare for that if I'm going to eat out. But the service charges are ridiculous. Tell your customers before they order and let them make a decision if they want to pay that or not.
*3.5 Sooo we were craving some asada fries late night and remembered I followed brick and flour on IG so decided to give them a try!! We ordered asada fries, a fish taco and a bfast burrito cause I had the munchies and LOVE bfast burritos!! Idk if I'm late to technology but did not know you can order online through Yelp so that was my first time but ended up calling the restaurant because we wanted extra chipotle sauce, so I ended up ordering 3 extra sauces and DID NOT RECEIVE ANY!! Gentleman i spoke was pleasant but apparently was not listening, Which was very heartbreaking since their sauce is good but if you're not into heavy heat in the sauce well this sauce AINT for you cause this was spicy Next LEVEL spicy !! Burrito was filled this chipotle sauce and ended up not eating it due to the spicy ness, very heartbreaking since the burrito was humangous was deliciousI!! Asada fries were FIRE!!! But when we received Them quarter of the fries were a bit cold, still very tasty, not greedy with their meat , highly recommended!!! I would definitely skip on the fish taco, very mediocre and wish I would of saved my money on that item !!... Will definitely try it again, maybe without the sauce!!
First time here! Recently moved to NH. I ordered a fish, chicken and shrimp taco. They are all DELICIOUS and have different burst of flavors. The chicken taco is my favorite!!! The restaurant is clean, plenty of parking and the staff is so nice! I will definitely be a returning customer :)
This was my first time at this place. I haven't had a change to go to their Pasadena location, which is still on my list of places to go. But this place is well lit, it was bright and had a lot of open space inside the restaurant. I ordered a Crispy Chicken Burrito, and it was huge! The thing had some weight to it. My first bite was full of flavor. The crunch of the crisp chicken, the snap of the lettuce, the creamy sauce from the cilantro avocado aioli was delicious. Every bite got better and tastier while I was eating the burrito. The staff was friendly, the service was quick. I am definitely coming back to this place. I have to try their tacos and carne asada fries!!
After seeing posts on social media of the food from this place, I made an effort to drive all the way to Brick & Flour for some yummy eats. I recalled a picture of a burrito that was stuffed with carne asada, shrimp, rice and cilantro. It wasn't on the menu but when I described it, the lady at the counter said it was called surf and turf. The burrito was huge! I was only able to finish half. It was really good, you could taste the fresh ingredients and it was warm off the grill. My only complaint is that there was barely any shrimp and it was pretty pricey - about $15 so was expecting there to be more. The salsas were delish. Can't go wrong with salsa verde. The horchata was refreshing. Not too overpowering but could've used a hint of more cinnamon. Refillable drinks a plus. Parking is available but limited and small spaces out front. Can't wait to come back and try other items from their menu.
The food here is great and everything is BIG in size with BIG flavors!! They are open late which is nice! We stopped in around 9pm on the way home from an Ikea trip. We were pretty hungry so we ordered: A Large Carne Asada Fries... So much food! The container is packed solid with a bed of hearty fries that stand up to the mountain of toppings that include: melted cheese, house salsa, guacamole, chipotle aioli, cilantro avocado aioli & sour cream. All in addition to the huge pile of Carne Asada. You will need to be hungry to finish this by yourself and two people could easily share it and be full. Al Pastor Bowl... Al Pastor is one of my favorites and they make it great! This bowl comes filled with a big portion of al pastor on top of rice, beans, lettuce, salsa, guacamole & cilantro. Chips & Guacamole... Such a simple thing but this to they hit out of the park! The chips are freshly made, perfectly crisp & thick enough to scoop the guac. The guacamole is homemade quality with nice chunks of avocado and tomato and you can just taste the bite of the lime juice. Everything here is so good especially the authentic taste of the Al Pastor & Carne Asada and the freshness of all the ingredients. The service at Brick & Flour is excellent! You get a sincere greeting when you walk in and they are so very helpful. The restaurant is very clean and organized. There are several tables around the store and also tables outside along the window. The decor is industrial with a great mural on one wall that really made me think of cruising Van Nuys Blvd when I was younger ;)

Just ok Honestly this place isn't amazingly good flavor but it's not bad by any means. It's a bit pricy and the coke machine was flat. They only use flower tortillas no corn. I tried three different tacos fish, shrimp and carnitas. They were all mediocre. Also no cheese on the tacos for that price. A little dry definitely needs more salsa / sauce added. The tacos did have a good amount of meat in them so that was a plus! They were decently filling.
I love Mexican Food and this is my new favorite artisan Mexican Grill. It is located on a very busy intersection on Cold Water Canyon and Victory Blvd in North Hollywood. The interior is very clean and spacious. The hand painted mural on the wall was bright and exhilarating to look at! I ordered a few veggie tacos that came with guacamole and fresh Pico de Gallo. When you check in on Yelp, they offer a 10% discount off your first order. Parking is available in front in the small lot and on the neighboring streets. Just make sure to read the parking signs to avoid a ticket. I highly recommend this place for healthy Mexican food. Way better then Chipotle and so much tastier.

I had Brick and Flour once for catering at a work party, and I loved it so we wanted to try it at the restaurant since it's fairly close by! The parking lot is a bit tight, but we were able to find a spot as soon as we pulled into the lot. The restaurant was not busy at the time we went (3pm), but I assume it gets pretty packed! The customer service was good, we ordered our food and it came out within less than 10 minutes! The restaurant was a nice size with plenty of tables and decorated nicely, giving off a relaxed vibe. We ordered the crispy chicken burrito, the carne asada torta, and a side of small fries. And of course, we couldn't skip the horchata to drink! The crispy chicken burrito was SO good! The chicken was exactly what it says, CRISPY! It was packed with flavor from the sauce, lettuce, onions, and rice! It also does come with beans, but I opted out. The carne asada torta was amazing as well! The bread was so delicious and crispy, yet soft and fresh. The carne asada tasted so good and the flavors from the lettuce, tomato, onions, guacamole, and mayo took it to another level. The fries were seasoned SO WELL and very crispy. Do not skip on getting the fries as well as a side of the chipotle sauce! The horchata tasted so yummy with the food, definitely snagged a refill on the way out! They serve the food in plastic containers making it SUPER easy if you can't finish it all, you just pop the lid on and be on your way! We will DEFINITELY be back to visit and try some more items on their menu! If you're in NoHo, go try this place out and give them some love! read more

This place is very ehhhh for me I'm not too crazy about the food for some reason every time I come here it just doesn't really taste good. I got the shrimp burrito and the only good thing in it was the few shrimps in it. My bf got the carna asada fries and it was pretty good but I felt like something was missing. My sister got a fish taco and another one which I'm not sure what it was just so spicy. The doughnut was a sweet treat we were looking for and it was whatever excepted it to be better. I feel like they just need to add better flavor. read more

Just stopped by today and picked up a crispy chicken burrito. I normally would not order a chicken burrito and stick to asada or al pastor. Am I glad that I did. The burrito was delicious. I really liked the fact that the chicken was crispy and not the regular type of chicken everyone else uses. I made sure I got extra green sauce because that green sauce was yummy. Make sure you get the green sauce and not the green salsa. Or get both like I did. I will always get the green sauce now that I know about it. They do charge after your first freebie. I will definitely order the chicken burrito again. Definitely recommend this place if you haven't tried. read more
I came here and had the chicken burrito. It was pretty good. The portion size was really good and I love that they did not skimp on the chicken. I love how they blended the seasoning and dressing along with the burrito. The staff was friendly and I love the horchata here too!! The parking lot is a little small, but with some patience you'll get a parking spot. read more
I came in to try a delicious Crispy Chicken Burrito. My wife came along, too, and raved about the Breakfast Burrito that she got. Both were HUGE and, even though I was enticed to get sides, thank goodness we refrained. The place is pretty stark and I am guessing it is because of covid that there is so much open space. Not a huge fan of having only the paper menus which, along with the cavernous dining area, made the place feel like it wasn't yet finished. This might be a thing as I have been to another restaurant in the past couple of months that is doing the same. It does just make it feel kinda strange in there. But we didn't realize there were fountain drinks until we were sitting and waiting for food (even though we walked right by them on the way in). Parking lot is really tiny and spaces are cramped. Thankfully the cars on either side of us left right before we did, otherwise we seriously wouldn't have been able to get in the car. I'd definitely recommend parking on the street, if possible. But, in the end, the food was the star. Burritos were really great and I would go back if I was in the area. read more
I have been to brick and flour a few times now and never seem to get the chance to write a review. This time I went with the shrimp bowl which was pretty good. The shrimp had great flavor and everything it the bowl was fresh it also had a nice spicy kick to it. My husband got tacos as usual and enjoyed it. Staff is always friendly and we enjoy everything on the menu. read more

Eh -- I really didn't enjoy my bland and soupy bowl of "stuff." The drinks weren't set up, so no lemonade or tea. Many of the sodas were empty. I wish this place was better, but there is literally okay Mexican food about 500 feet away on Victory. read more

It never fails. I do like this place, but every time we order the person preparing the order never gives us to go condiments properly. Tonight there was a young guy filling up the orders. You would think when placing an online order specifying you want extra condiments on the side that it might actually happen? Nope! Two orders and only one of the few this person decided to add. Normally, there should be onions and cilantro because we asked for those specifically. This place has dropped the ball on this specific detail more than enough times to write a review. Hopefully they can get things together for the future. read more
