Been going here for at least a year now and this spot is so good. I always get a burrito with no beans and cheese, rice, asada and their green sauce and it's divine. I also get their quesedillas and tacos and they give generous amount of meat. It's always made fresh to order and even their tortilla is made fresh to order. They have all the condiments - green, red salsa, guac, and habañero sauce. They also have grilled onions and jalapeños on the side, fresh radish, cucumber, and pickled habañero and onions and it's so good with their food. Service is fast but sometimes there could be a line. Staff is so nice. They accept zelle or cash only.

Tacos El Amigo is the real deal. From the moment you walk up, you can tell this place takes pride in what they do. The tortillas are pressed fresh right in front of you and hit the grill perfectly -- warm, slightly crisp on the edges, and soft in the center. You can taste the difference immediately. The meat was flavorful, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. Every bite had that authentic street taco balance -- tender protein, fresh cilantro and onions, and salsa that actually brings heat and flavor instead of just spice. That green salsa especially was . Portions were generous and everything came out hot and fresh. You can tell nothing is sitting around -- it's made to order. Service was fast and friendly, and the whole setup feels authentic and welcoming. No gimmicks, just great food done right. If you're craving legit tacos in the Valley, this spot absolutely delivers. I'll definitely be back.

Y'all I am a REGULAR. I go here at least 2x a week? They have Wednesday specials sometimes. I believe they advertise $2 al pastor tacos but on occasion, they will do $1 al pastor tacos for the weds special. These tacos are genuinely so delicious. Hand made tortillas. Meat itself is so yummy and consistently pretty good. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because they can be a little inconsistent with the burrito portion sizes. They rotate staff so some are a little more heavy handed than others. I have also gotten some hardish rice on occasion. Nothing like stale and crazy but enough for me to be like hmm.. that was a rather hard grain . This has only happened once though. I mentioned they rotate staff and I noticed one of the new? ones makes the hand-made tortillas inconsistent sizes. But overall, its not serious enough for me to stop coming here. The staff is friendly. They speak Spanish and can be a bit shy but warm up to you with time (at least to me since I go so often LOL). The parking lot they set up by is usually pretty empty so parking is never an issue. I did try their torta one time but they oddly raised the price the next time I went so I didn't get it again. I remember it was $10 and the next day they charged me $12. I believe it's currently $12. One time they advertised the $1 al pastor tacos on their insta and charged me $2. Not an issue but the inconsistency is a little annoying. Burritos are my go to there. They are $10 and I usually get chicken or al pastor. Both meats are pretty solid and consistently good. Sauce wise they offer habanero (decently spicy but not wild crazy intense spicy if you can handle spice), red salsa (spicy), green salsa (mildly spicy), and guacamole salsa (mild). Would recommend this spot.

I've been here a year and seen the place gathering crowds but I don't usually like food trucks and the like so I didn't go right away. So after finally going to see why it was so popular, I got it. This place is different!!! The food is so FRESH & TASTY! I couldn't believe how much I liked it! When are you opening a restaurant?

Great tacos! Follow their ig page and they post hours, locations and special deals. They had $1 el pastor tacos the other day and they were amazing. They make fresh tortillas for all orders too!

We ordered #14 tostaditas w/ asada, #6 tacos doritos w/ birria, and asada quesadilla. We absolutely loved how crispy the tostadas and tacos doritos were. The meat was tasty and tender! The birria concomé was so delicious! So nice that they had three long tables to sit at. Made the experience that much more welcoming. I will definitely be back.

I've been trying to try this one because I saw the hype on social media (maybe I was expecting them to live.up to that hype) Tacos - 2 stars: there was flavor in the asada and al pastor but the tortillas were small and kinda of hard. They may have left them on the grill too long. Im used to the nice soft delicious tortillas. Guacamole was ok Prices - 2 stars: spent $41 for 8 tacos and 2 senorials. They are over priced and portions are very small. I could have gotten more for my buck somewhere else for example: tacos el venado on sepulveda. They are really good. Angels tacos on sherman way (they have home made tortillas and their tacos are twice as big Over all, disappointing. Would I come back again? Not even if I was starving. But try then for yourself, you may have a different opinion. I have certainly have had better.

They have an indoor dining area as well as a spacious covered patio. I also loved that their drinks are served in mason jars! Water, utensils, and napkins are self-serve. The service was excellent, and one of the managers (?) even stopped by at the end of our meal to offer us complimentary to-go drinks, which was so thoughtful! Their menu has a great variety of both breakfast and regular tacos, and you can choose between flour or corn tortillas - both types of tortillas tasted so yummy and freshly made. Everything we ordered was so good! - Trinity breakfast taco (eggs, bacon, potatoes, cheddar) - definitely a classic breakfast taco - Brisket taco - comes with a juicy and tender brisket - Queso (served with chips) - great for sharing! - Cookie milk iced coffee - made with chocolate chip cookie-steeped oat milk and wasn't overly sweet which I appreciate There's a small parking lot with about four spaces, otherwise, street parking is plentiful nearby. Overall, a great spot for brunch or a casual meal!

My husband got 2 tacos, brisket and chicken and a side of chips. I through in a side of crispy potatoes. This was a nice cool Sunday evening around 6pm, the vibe was full-ish but still places to sit. There's a big bar around the cook area inside where you order or a covered patio outside area (with heating if necessary). We had a lovely evening, so we sat at the end of a bench. Our food came to our table I'd say within 10-15 minutes of ordering. I honestly could have shared mine. It was a lot with those potatoes, and even my husband who's a thin guy said one of those tacos would have been sufficient (and he could have helped me with mine...haha). We were just in the area visiting our kids, we come down frequently from NorCal, so we will definitely hit up this place again now that we've found it in the near future. So good and super relaxed and easy.

My favorites are the KILLER HOT and the SHARKY'S salsas. Their AVOCADO salsa is also very tasty. GO-TO FAVES include the Grilled Fish Taco on a corn tortilla. Seasoned and grilled to perfection on a regular basis. I get mine with no Pico de Gallo as I like to layer on some very hot salsa instead (KILLER HOT) and I get it without the cheese to keep it lower in fat and calories. NEVER disappoints. Their Nachos are a treat when I'm breaking my diet. :) Shrimp Tacos are really good as are the protein plates which can be customized and are a very healthy, well-prepared meal every time. You order at the counter -- and a nice touch is they ask if you want chips while you wait. Their water is also a nice touch -- it's got lemon, cucumber, etc. in the water which gives it a refreshing spa-like feel. They also have really good iced tea. You grab your own beverages and I highly recommend both the water (free!!) and the iced tea. The staff here is wonderful -- an active management team that works the floor, checks in on guests, and generally just makes everyone feel welcome, along with the hard-working kitchen team and the young team that takes the orders and puts together the take-away options. They are a smooth-running, very friendly and kind operation there. I love Sharky's. I grew up in this area and remember when it was Twain's. I recently tried out El Cocinero's food at an event that they catered to. As a person who eats meat and is not restricted, I would come here for the good food. The vegan al pastor had chunks of pineapple and it is seasoned and cooked to taste just like the meat version. The texture is just a little bit different but it does resemble a lot like meat. The vegan pastor also tastes just like the meat version, just less "smoky" and the texture is softer. The rice is flavorful and fluffy. The beans are seasoned just enough to have flavor but not compete with the other dishes. The creamy chipotle sauce was perfect topping the rice and beans. I do like vegan food but the only reference I had with Mexican vegan are places that try to add fake cheese and lean heavily on beans and rice. This business shows that you can still have all the flavors and not rely on cheese and meat. They focus on the flavors and not what would make non-vegans feel comfortable. Initially, I was going to give this first time experience a 4 star review so that it encourages me to go check out the restaurant so I can add the service and the ambiance. However, I was lucky enough to bring home leftovers and as I was eating it, the food tastes better. Had to add the extra star!
