We tried BCE today for the 1st time. We were the only customers around 4pm. My husband and I both ordered pizza: Margherita and BBQ chicken. The bbq chicken was good. I liked the margherita but wished there was more cheese and whole basil leaves vs chopped. Although, the thin crust was perfectly crispy, the bottom tasted bitter. I don't know the process of brick oven pizza-but I'm assuming the bitterness is caused by the process of baking. I couldn't give 5 stars based on the bitter bottom crust & lack of extra cheese. I will be returning to try other menu items. Also, if you prefer Coke soda products-you'll be disappointed. They only serve Pepsi products. The staff were friendly & efficient. read more

Hey! Really good pizza. Very tasty, thin crust, cooked to perfection. I had a white pizza with chicken and garlic on top. Very good. As far as options go in Lutz, this will be one of my go to's for a quick, tasty pie and a beer. Worth checking out. read more

As a driver for a food delivery company, I just want to say that although I haven't eaten here, the customer service I received while working will keep me from ever trying it. When I came in to pick up an order, the girl working the front counter told me the order was almost ready. After waiting over 30 minutes I asked how much longer it would be, and was told the last pizza was in the oven. First off- Please don't say the order is "almost ready" if it's not. After sitting back down, I received a phone call from the customer I was delivering for, who was understandably frustrated and upset that it was taking so long. The worst part was that while I was on the phone trying to explain to the customer that I had been there waiting over 30 minutes, the girl came over and just dropped the pizzas on the table and walked away without saying anything. That is unacceptable. Not only will I never order from here in the future, you've also lost the customer who I delivered the food to. read more

The one girl is also mean and rude so if yu like bad customer service that an additional plus! Carrabas is next door and so is bangkok sushi much better places then this one. Have really been looking forward to the opening of BCE - but was surprised/disappointed in the set up. Read about the great service and families enjoying all of the menu items - my friend and I were were expecting a sit down restaurant where we could have a nice lunch and maybe a beer or two. It's more of a Tijuana Flats or Taco Bus set up - you order at the counter and then hope someone leaves so you have a place to sit! I ordered the Garlic Bread Roast Beef Hero and my friend ordered a custom salad and some BRK chips as an appetizer - only to be told they no longer have them - and one of the items she chose for her salad has already been removed from the menu (they've only been open 1-week!!). It was lunchtime and pretty busy but we found 2-seats available at the bar, which was fine since we had both ordered a draft beer. I think it may be self-serve if you order a soft-drink, but we did not get our beers until after our food was delivered. My sandwich was good - but I would recommend ordering the horseradish sauce on the side as it was a bit overwhelming. My friend ordered grilled chicken on her salad and was surprised to find it very oily - she was told that it was marinated in Italian dressing - tho this was not specified on the menu. Because you order and pay first, the eatery does not lend itself to a place where you sit and have a couple of beers with friends. The seating is very limited - they have rental space but we were told that it doesn't have the right "ambiance" so they do not plan to open it up for more seating. This place could be really good if they actually knew how to make pizza. Crust is underdone and white underneath but the edges are burned. Several customers sitting around us complained about the food and one just said they were not coming back. The pizza with prosciutto and arugula sounds great until you get it and realize that everything is just thrown on top. The prosciutto should be cooked on the pizza! It was awful. They seemed confused and the staff does not know the menu. I asked if I could have extra truffle oil on my pizza and she said what is that. Well, it's on the menu! I will not be back, there are much better pizza places around. Tried to support a local business but I cannot throw my money away. ***The other reviewer was correct about the manager being condescending and very rude*** It was the second day this place was open and the Owners were not there...what a shame. Stopped in tonight and had the White Pizza with garlic and chicken and the Meatball Parm sandwich. Pizza was excellent and the Meatball Parm is the best we've had in the area. Highly recommended! read more

Chopped salad was good but given to us in a Togo box which was weird since we were obviously eating there as we were set up with our kids at a table. We ordered a veggie pizza that was nothing that you would expect a veggie pizza to be. Just watery sauce and a few clumps of mozzarella with spinach leaves and no taste. Immediately after it was delivered to our table, we tried it. It didn't need cooling off and was a sloppy, mushy, wet piece of thin, undercooked pizza with no melted cheese. We didn't even want to eat it, even though we were hungry. Who likes wet, soggy bread as pizza??! I kindly told the cashier that we were not sure the pizza came out right and the woman who made the pizza came right over, not to apologize, but to defend her pizza, stating this is how it always is because of the sauce and mozzarella balls that are stored in water. Also, they explained, when they over cook it, people complain so they don't cook it too much and this is what happens, like it was my fault for not being satisfied with the worst pizza I think I've ever experienced in my life. They said they'd make me another but it would come out the same. My thoughts? If you don't know how to make a good pizza in a brick oven with these ingredients, you need to work on the menu a bit. Both the cashier and the cook seemed very defensive instead of accommodating and fair. They offered to take the pizza off but the whole experience was awkward and draining. Not only was I embarrassed for taking my family there, but was disappointed with the bad customer service and the way we got dirty looks from the staff while we ate the rest of the food. We decided to take the rest to go bc we didn't feel like we were welcome anymore. I give it 2 stars bc the kids food was decent and the salad as well. Never going back unfortunately. read more

I'm ALL about this restaurant! The staff was very friendly and courteous! The pizza was AWESOME! All pies are the personal type and they have a great selection to choose from. Chicken parm was good, too! I love the location and glad to hear they also started breakfast now, can't wait to try an egg sandwich! We will definitely be back! Good Luck Brick City! :) read more

I would like to say I support this local business but unfortunately it really misses the mark for me. I came to this restaurant multiple times when it opened around January and February and the pizza was delicious. I was happy with the customer service and the establishment was clean. I haven't been here in awhile so I brought my husband and our 2 friends, it was their first time. The restaurant was empty so there was no excuse as to why our food took so long. We got 2 pizzas, a Cuban, and a salad. It took us around 30 minutes to receive all of our food, WE WERE THE ONLY ONES HERE. We watched the employees goof around dancing and not putting any rush on making our food. The little girl at the register had no personality and I could barely hear her talking. She cut us off everytime we would begin to ask a question or make a comment. There was so many employees just standing around, the icing on the cake is when we were leaving I was unsure if we cleaned the table or not, so we left the trays and the employees whispered to the other one saying "I hate when they don't clean up their plates" this is unexceptional in my opinion. This is clearly why the restaurant is empty. There was also so many crumbs and food in the booth cracks and on the floor. Between service, cleanliness, and timing, I won't be returning. read more

I went there tonight with two friends. Waitress was nice. She gave us our forms to fill out for salads. All 3 of us were ordering these. I chose grilled chicken and wrote "none" across the dressing section. When my salad was served (in a to go container), I told the waitress that there was a mistake. My salad had dressing on it. She took it from me and went to get the manager. The manager of the time was a woman with blonde hair. She put my salad back in front of me and told me that "this is your salad". I told her that it wasn't that it had dressing on it and I ordered grilled chicken. This chicken was brown in color and had some type of sauce on it. She told me again that there was no dressing and that it was from the chick peas. It was very evident that there was dressing on it. Then she told me that that chicken was grilled and that there was Italian dressing on it. That is how they do grilled chicken. The chicken is not freshly grilled as it was as cold as the salad. One of my friends also had her salad wrong and the other friend hadn't received the salad yet. There was a lot more that happened, but you get the idea. The manager was belligerent, and condescending. She couldn't or wouldn't understand that no dressing means no dressing at all. We ended up leaving. Sad for a restaurant to have "grilled chicken" on the form with no explanation that it was previously grilled and kept in dressing and even sadder that a restaurant would have a manager such as this working for them. read more
