Pizza wasn't horrible. But not great. Crust is super thin almost cracker like. The inside was almost clean but outside eating area was awful. cigarettes and trash littered the area and this was at 5pm with no one there. They had time to clean but you can tell they never do. read more

The owner or manager was very friendly when we arrived. I was able to get a marinara pizza and it was excellent. All the brick on the oven WOOD was outside in the parking lot. A small location to sit inside. Just not a fan of New Haven, Connecticut it's kind of rundown. But the restaurant was very nice. read more

Ordered takeout, pizza was cold when we picked it up. Chicken Caesar salad had hot chicken on the lettuce which wilted the lettuce and made it soggy and gross. Not a great experience unfortunately. There are so many other pizza places to try, I would skip this one. read more

Came here for a light night dinner on the way to Rhode Island. This ended being our 3rd option as every place was packed on a Saturday. Deceivingly large place as they have a mirror on one side wall and were a little thrown off by the ordering kiosk even though they asked us to order in the front. My group and I ate a large margarita and a clam pie. The margarita was much fairly good - good flavor, crust was good and there was a good amount of toppings. Distribution and slice size was varied to say the least. The clam pie was a bit of a mess. Pretty much all of the cheese and topping fell off the second we tried to take a slice - again, distribution of clams, and maybe bacon(? didn't find any), and good flavor and crust. It was fine in a pinch but there was a group of 8 that pretty much took over the place, so our 6 top was a little crammed, so eating in is a toss up. Fine overall nothing so objectionable that I didn't feel full afterwards or didn't enjoy what I was eating. read more

I got a slice and I would say this is a step below the dollar pizza spots in NYC. Cheap and not much taste. Skimpy on the cheese and sauce (didn't even cover the whole slice) and little to no seasoning. A slight step up from eating cardboard. The employees definitely are not welcoming and seem like they don't like having to do work. Having an attitude and a bad products is double bad. I will NOT be back and do not recommend. If you see my reviews I am very fair and don't give many places a horrible rating but I think people need to know to skip this place. If you get a chance hit up Bar or Modern Pizza which are New Haven Staples and the Top of the Crop in my opinion. Pretty bad pizza, whole place smells like rats (I've seen them throwing rats out of the kitchen.) They also throw these huge loud parties at like 2am. You can't get into the place because its a specific crew taking it over, and they just absolutely blast shitty music at painful volumes. read more
