Buffalo wings (mild) with blue cheese dressing
DEBORAH T.

This place has the best wings in all of West Haven. Their pizza and salads are also very good. Staff is always friendly. When I am in the area I stop by and get some wings. Trust you won't regret checking them out !

Their pizza and salads are very delicious I definitely recommend this place. I always used to bring my kids here when they were younger. Been coming here for years and I love this pizza place.

Bacon and broccoli pizza.... so Good!

First time ordering from here. Great prices and pizza is really good. Ordered large pizza with bacon and broccoli and a Italian combo. It came with a litter of soda for $25. Fast delivery! Can place your order online

This was a Meat lovers Pizza. I have to say it was burnt and I will never go to this pizza place again.I give them zero stars.

My husband suggested that we get a pizza from Pizza Works. He spoke highly of them. But I do not like burnt pizza. Why would you even serve this to a customer. So that's ok. I will not be returning and I will suggest my coworkers to find another pizza place also.

Pizza works is a nice quick bite, they are fast and open at convenient times. The pizza is more on the crunchy crust side

The pizza was fantastic (it's Greek style, not New Haven style) and the eggplant on the pizza was perfectly cooked.

We spent the weekend in New Haven area primarily to sample the pizza. After 2 days of pizza we just…read morewanted to have a good Sunday breakfast as we left to head home. This place is clearly a local favorite as the small parking lot was full, but we lucked out as someone was pulling out as we arrived. The service was top notch! We were greeted by a friendly young woman who seated us right away in a 2 person booth. The place is your classic stainless steel exterior and the inside was packed with happy patrons. The people in the booth next to us said they rarely dine out but they frequent Georgie's for their food. We were served by 3 different young women who were super friendly and professional. Before we got our food I was thinking I would come back for the service alone. Now the food. I ordered Georgie's omelette with home fries. 5/5. Excellent omelette and though the home fries were just potatoes they were cooked with some crunchy bits that simply elevated them. Laura got the eggs Benedict and she loved it. 5/5. We also ordered the buckwheat pancakes with blueberries and bananas. These were the best pancakes I've ever eaten 5/5! On top of it they serve organic food and locally sourced ingredients. The diversity of their staff was another added feature. This place is special!!! Laura and I agreed that it was the best meal we ate during our New Haven weekend. I would go on a 1.5 hour road trip for this place. Top notch!

While in the area for a computer repair, I figured it was a perfect day for some ramen…read more I stumbled upon Terayama and the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen caught my eye as I haven't seen this offered on a menu anywhere around here. The broth was creamy and smooth like a typical Tonkotsu Broth but the added spiciness really removes or supresses the comforting part of this dish. I mean this in the best way possible, it was delicious and now I will be adding spice to my Tokotsu Ramen that I order from a place much more local to me. The broth also was not too salty which was sometimes an issue with me ordering Tonkotsu Ramen in the past. The pork slices were nice and thin and had a nice texture to it as well. The noodles were not overcooked either. A very well done Ramen dish. I decided to order the Butabura Donburi to go. This consisted of a pork rice bowl with caramelized soy sauce, scallion, tamago and sesame seeds. The pork was cooked perfectly and this dish was full of savory flavors. The rice was also "QQ" as some asians would say. For translation just think of QQ for rice the same as Al Dente for pasta. Learning new things every day, will probably be my last time saying QQ but this rice was QQ, straight out of a Zojirushi Rice Cooker. Anyways, before I get too deep into things only Asians would understand or care about, Terayama was quite the perfect stop for me in my long drive to get my computer fixed. All their food was done right and it was just the perfect place to stop in to get welcomed by knowledgeable and comforting staff on a cold day. Quite the hole in the wall but I'm glad I found it. Until the next time Terayama. Keep it QQ.

Was skeptical as many local restaurants do the bare minimum to satisfy local palates, straying from tradition. But not here! Broth is a key indicator of good ramen and this has a few good layers of flavor. The Thai tea wasn't too sweet. Worth checking out, I look forward to coming back when that ramen craving hits.

With that being said, I ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza and a spicy shrimp pizza. First off, the sausage and pepperoni pizza was immaculate. To explain, the crust was homemade and crispy with great flavor. Likewise, the pepperoni was delicious and helped elevate the flavor. Also, the cheese was perfect with just the right amount of grease. Finally, the sauce had a savory tomato flavor which was excellent. I just wish they put more on the pizza. In similar fashion, the spicy shrimp pizza was very good as well. To breakdown, the shrimp tasted fresh and had great flavor. My only complaint was that the pizza was a little too spicy for my taste. I still enjoyed it though. To put it concisely, Zuppardi's Apizza has some of the best pizza I've ever had in my life.

The folks working there were very friendly and we got a table quick enough at 12:30 on a Sunday. Make sure your whole party is there - they won't seat you until they show up. We ordered 2 pizzas - a "special" with sausage and mushroom and a half pepperoni half cheese. Both were excellent, especially the special. The sausage is phenomenal there - sweet, spicy and kind of tangy. As for the pizza itself, great structure and the cheese is excellent. This may have surpassed Sally's and Pepe's as my favorite CT pizza.
