This was one of the very few restaurants who made the choice to be open during the week between Christmas and New Years and we are thankful they were! The service was great and despite them being out of A LOT of dishes (seriously...almost everything my husband selected from the menu they did not have) the server came back out to let us know the short ribs just came out of the oven! Woo hoo. My husband reported they were delicious, in a Caribbean style gravy. The mash was delicious too, but unfortunately cool... I ordered the wedge salad based on the menu description of them making their own blue cheese (both the crumbles and dressing). Honestly it was just ok but I don't think we would go back. We got there and my husband put our name in for an outdoor table. They originally told us 25-35 minutes. After about 10 minutes the hostess came and grabbed us and said wait here by the hostess stand while we get the table ready. After another 10 minutes another woman walked over and said follow me. I asked for an outdoor table and she said yes and then brought us to an indoor table. I asked again about an outdoor table and she responded this was the only table they had. We took the table but the food and drink took forever. It took about 20 minutes to get a beer, appetizers came after 30 minutes. Our food didn't arrive for an hour. I know there's an issue with restaurants finding staff right now and our waitress kept apologizing. But just keep in mind if you can't wait for a while. I went here last week because I had just driven up to the Cape and was starving and pretty much everything else was closed. I ordered clam chowder which was mediocre and ate it. Their new special Oyster's Rockefeller - which I ordered without garlic - was slop in a shell and I had to search for a fragment of an oyster which I could barely see and no flavor. Sent that back. Then sautéed spinach which I also ordered without garlic came and I ate it because I was still starving although I thought I tasted garlic. The manager was very nice and so was my waiter. Oh I forgot the dirty martini which came first and was undrinkable. Ended up with a small vodka on the rocks. Went back to hotel where I fell asleep and woke up because my chest was on fire. Specials of the day! Ordered the Orange Rum Scallops - rubbed with a house made seasoning, pan seared along with oranges as herbs, then simmered in an orange rum sauce. Served with whipped potatoes, carrots and haricots $24.99. Scallops had a strong seafood taste but the rum sauce and oranges rocked! Two big screen TVs and a full bar with about 16 barstools. Hot bread rolls served to start. Glass of Argentina Malbec Casarena $9.50. Good wine and didn't skimp on portion. Ordered the brownie sundae. Small brownie which was very good with good vanilla ice cream and topped with an abundance of whipped cream doused with chocolate syrup and topped with a maraschino cherry. Not great. Food was a bit overpriced. Drinks were good. The host offered a short member of our party a kid's menu, then was defensive when the person explained they are short, not a child. Oddly, the host was also about 4'10" and clearly middle aged. Only gendered restrooms are available. One trans member of our party headed toward the better option for them and the server chased them down and "corrected" them. The server did not apologize and just kind of glared when the person said they use the other one. Why not just have the restrooms all-gender? read more

Drove out to P-Town for the day and found this place by accident. We're not even done but I gotta do this review. People are amazing, very professional, working as a team with smiles. The menu is really interesting and yummy. Crab cakes divine. She's having hot buttered lobstah roll and the B/H Flatbread was a must do item. Our server is super sweet and wow, always amazed by people who can take a long order, stop at other tables and still remember the details. No way could I do that. I'll pause until the mains come out. OK - as anticipated food is divine and fresh! Awesome flavors. Coleslaw is made fresh at hand. I don't do slaw but was very tempted-none of that store bought stuff. Really great place. Hidden gem in Eastham. This is one of those places that I question whether I should post a good review so I can always get in without a hassle!! Huge bar to watch the Sox. Extensive menu with something for everyone. The tuna sashimi is perfect and the best in Eastham, which is saying a lot. Try the Brie Bacon and arugula flatbread for a great starter. Our server was very polite, but the food took almost 45 minutes to come out and when it finally came, it seemed to have already cooled off. Second night out for dinner at the Cape and fully enjoyed our time at Brickhouse. The staff was incredibly welcoming and nice - it's was a family owned feel. My husband and I have been in the restaurant industry for decades. We visited the Brickhouse for the first time and the experience was a mix. There were positives and there were areas that the owners needs to work on. First let me say the food was very delicious, full of flavor and well balanced portions. We liked our meals but it would have been more enjoyable if the service received had complimented the meal. There were two servers that night, there was a fairly good crowd as well. However; we observed that our server was merely interested in getting our orders in and that was it. After serving our meals we ordered a refill on our glasses of white wines, we watched our wines sat on the counter for minutes getting hot before it was served to us ( which our server just grasp in her hands adding more heat to the already hot wine and brought it to us). She came by our table once to ask how our meals was and that's it. We observed this action as well with her other tables, carrying beverages in her hands and ignoring them for some time; unless she knew you. There was a table of four that she spent quite some time with chattering away while her other tables were left lacking service. We noticed however; that once she was assigned a large party of 8 people she became excited and went all out for them while we sat there with our empty plates and wine glasses waiting for some attention. When she finally came to clear the items from our table she asked if we wanted dessert; Originally we were going to have dessert but after being ignored for so long we had lost our appetite and just asked for the check. What really made our night though was when we observed the other waitress and how diligently she carried out her service. She used a tray for the simplest of things which is the right service standard. When she carried a Martini drink to a table; she held the drink by the neck of the glass so that her hand did not add heat to the drink while carrying it and she didn't spill a drop (well balanced and executed). There was a couple at a small table to a corner and before she brought their other dishes we saw that she used her cleaning cloth to remove crumbs from the table. When my husband and I saw this we were amazed to know that there is still hope for great service as these are the little details that adds to your dining experience. We watched her every move, even though she wasn't our server we admired how she took her time to ensure that everyone at her tables were happy. Before we left we made sure to express to her the excellent job that she was doing and how we enjoyed watching her tend to her tables. Our only regret was not getting her name, but she was very petite in statue. The owners need to remember that great food and great service goes together so this area needs a bit of work. Perfectly crispy and the orange marmalade was an excellent compliment. The Local Seafood was very flavorful and while only 2 or 3 small pieces of lobster, was well served. First time visit and we will absolutely be back! Started with a lobster chowder, clam chowder, pop stickers and mozzarellas triangles. All were delish! Entrees included seafood fra diavlo, orange rum scallops, veggie burger, arugula salad with salmon and a kids chicken finger. Each person thoroughly enjoyed their entree! The service was very good, drinks were always refilled I. A timely fashion and we were checked on often, dining room wasn't full but close to it. We waited over an hour for our meal and every 5 to 10 minutes, another person's dish was served. As a result we didn't eat dinner together. When we asked to see the manager she blamed us for not telling the waitress when the waitress was well aware of the problem. She also said it was our problem bc we didn't have a reservation. The place was not full when we came in. We got a table immediately. The manager would not apologize or take anything off our bill. She said she had to check with the kitchen so we waited another 10 minutes for her to return. Finally she returned and said the problem was that we asked for two separate tickets (!)Then after blaming the waitress again, she finally took 10% off our bill. I do not recommend this restaurant. I am a year round resident of Eastham and was thrilled to find that a new restaurant was opening and planned to stay open year round. The food was good however unless YOU HAVE THE PATIENCE OF A SAINT, avoid this place like the plague. In spite of the fact that they've been open a few years, they still haven't figured out how to run the restaurant efficiently. I made a reservation online (don't even bother) and they led me and another couple TO THE SAME TABLE! Then they proceeded to seat other families who were behind me in line, leaving my party waiting for 45 minutes to be seated. We left.
