It's probably closer to a 3.5, but I'm pretty lenient on hotel restaurants. This is fairly typical, but the pizza was actually cooked short in a brick oven. I expected charred edges. That's what you get in a fire oven. Rush the food out, despite the fact that there was almost nobody there. Not as good as I hoped of course, but the pizza was better than frozen. If you don't want to walk to the many (better) restaurants nearby, this will work. You be the judge.

This place is a hidden gem, I would actually not have seen it other than on yelp and I live 5 min away. I could walk here, and may in the future. It's funny due to covid the restaurant is closed. We actually came by last night and thought it was closed. After calling in we are feasting on this delightful pie tonight. Pie: great crust. Solid burn, even on pizza bottom. Fresh ingredients I can tell. Wonderful customer service to top it off

When the bartender said that the restaurant in the hotel was good, I was doubtful (I'm thinking "Hmmm, she probably has to say that"); however, after checking Yelp! to compare this restaurant with those around, we decided to give it a shot. I was so satisfied with the delicious salmon...this is a recipe I will definitely try to cop at home! The kids portions were enough for now and that "bedtime snack...I'm hungry!" whine I'll probably hear later. Alana, our bartender/server was outstanding and we look forward to visiting her again tomorrow. If you find yourself at the Embassy Suites in Ayrsley, or nearby, there's no need to go more than a few steps away!

Pizza is really good and pretzel bites were even better a little pricey but for hotel food it really does not get better

Neither my friend or I have the capability to use it, and frankly we shouldn't have to. I'd like to look at my options in-hand. Instead, the waitress literally had to verbally tell us every single item the restaurant had since there were no menus. I'm taking a star off for this ridiculous inconvenience. The only reason I'm giving 4 Stars is because of the quality and price of the food. The music was loud and annoying for dinner. We could not hear the waitress and we had difficulty having a conversation. Perhaps these reasons are why there is barely anyone in the restaurant despite the food and drinks being excellent. Honestly, the menus and music would make me think twice about returning and has likely affected others the same way as well. It's a shame, because this restaurant has so much potential. On Wednesday they have a $30 special for a 12oz ribeye or salmon, 2 sides, and a cocktail for $30. The cocktails were beautiful and excellent. I got the ribeye, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. The ribeye was tender. However, I asked for horseradish cream sauce or chimichurri for the steak, but they didn't have either one, which is odd if they serve steaks. The mashed potatoes were seasoned to perfection and cheesy. The asparagus were cooked thoroughly and perfect. (Not the silly al dente found at some restaurants). I'll definitely come back again on a Wednesday and bring my husband (who also doesn't use barcode thingies). We live 1 mile away and would love to make this a regular spot. Can you PLEASE have some REAL MENUS ready and turn down the music ?!?!?!

Ah it's ok…read more Mediocre at best. Typical bar food. Nothing to rave about. What I found interesting was the additional charge for substituting gin for repo in my drink when neither were top tier premium alcohol. Anywho, the salmon bites flavor was cool but the amount you get is minimal and the size of the bites are miniature. I came, I saw, I won't be back.

We had reservations but it wasn't overly busy so I don't think they were necessary for that day and time but I would definitely recommend on busier times. I love the fact that this is more of a tapas style restaurant so you can order and taste a ton of options. Plates are generally around $14-22 per plate and they have enough for three or four (tapas style). We started with crab dip and oysters on the half shell (raw). The crab dip was rich and creamy and served with buttered crusty, buttered bread. The oysters were amazing too but a little nuance about these: they are listed by region (e.g. West Coast, Mid-Atlantic, etc.) and not listed as they type of oyster. Oysters vary greatly within a single region so I would encourage you to ask what specific oysters they serve for each region (they will look it up and tell you) to make sure you know what you are getting. We also ordered the calamari, small salad (unlisted option for the salad listed on the menu) and poke bowl to share. We went in hungry and probably ordered too much because this was all to start off. Everything was really good and worth ordering. For my "entree" or ordered the trout which comes with lentils and broccolini. This dish was fantastic and highly recommended. The trout was perfectly cooked and delicious. Our waitress, Tiffany, was amazing and did a great job. Additionally, this is the perfect spot for a "dinner and a show" since it is right beside the Knight theater. Parking is easily accessible at the Green Garage right across the street.

This restaurant is very nicely designed. It's visually appealing with tables indoors, a bar area, and an outside dining area. The hostess and my server were professional and extremely nice and made my dining experience very pleasant. The reason I am giving three stars instead of four or more comes down to value. Seafood is expensive, I get that. But I don't know that there's much value to be had here. Portion sizes are small relative to what you're paying for. And in my opinion, while the freshness and the quality of the seafood may be there, the flavor is not. I have no doubt that the quality of the seafood here is good. But I did not enjoy anything I ordered. I wasn't put off by the food, but I wish I had wanted to savor each bit. I ordered the cajun grilled oysters and the miso sablefish. I thought both were too salty and despite paying over $40 for the meal, I left still a bit hungry.
