I was encouraged to do a dental block for numbing, which left me numb much longer than expected. The bruising afterward was extensive, and I experienced pain and tenderness for weeks. I could feel not only the individual injection sites but also what felt like the path of the needle throughout my lips. As the filler settled, my lips became lumpy, uneven, and unnatural looking. They also felt firm and irregular to the touch. At my follow-up appointment, Jennifer told me the filler needed to be massaged. The massage was incredibly painful--so painful that my eyes were watering during the appointment. She also acknowledged that my lips were crooked, stating they "just needed a little more on the top of one side," but no complimentary correction was offered despite the poor outcome and the amount I had already spent. Considering the results, I'm now grateful that no additional filler was added. Four months later, I sought treatment from another injector because I was unhappy with the results. The difference was night and day. She was able to improve the appearance of my lips using only topical numbing cream, and I experienced little to no bruising afterward. She also explained that my lips appeared overfilled, which likely contributed to the lumpiness and uneven appearance. Even now, I can still see and feel filler remaining in the back of my lips. When I pull my lip down, there is a noticeable bulge that resembles a fat lip. The filler appears to have been placed farther back than necessary,. Looking back, I wish I had done more research before booking. My only additional complaint is that pricing was never clearly discussed beforehand. Because my lips were naturally very small, I agreed to two syringes during the appointment and was surprised by the final bill. As a first-time filler client, I would have appreciated more transparency regarding total costs before treatment began. I was also never given a receipt. I later called to request one and was told it would be emailed to me, but I never received it. Overall, this was an expensive and disappointing experience. I asked for the 30 minute foot massage and made it very clear I wanted 30 minutes and I specified foot. The guy who started my massage took 25 freaking minutes to massage my shoulders and hands, and then an entire 5 minutes (and that's being generous) on ONE foot. The other foot, my driving foot, was left hanging. the whole time I couldn't relax because during it, he was constantly trying to convince me to get the 50 minute massage, and it felt VERY coercive because of the egregious time spent massaging my freaking arms and even hands instead of what I asked for, the FEET. This place is a complete scam. You won't get a foot massage if you choose the 30 minute option. You will get a poorly executed hand massage at best. I should have gotten the service free because never in my life have I received such horrible service at a massage venue, and I have been to many, in multiple states and countries. 0/10. Stop trying to scam your customers by wasting your time massaging their HANDS when you advertise a FOOT massage thinking they'll bite and give you extra money. We booked a couple of days advance for my daughter and her friend, to celebrate her friend's 12th birthday. Went back and forth a few times over text message with them about making sure the girls could be together for the kids scalp treatment (it's for ages 8-14) and an on the go facial- each service 30 mins, one hour total for each girl. The girls were excited for the special occasion. The shop looks like it is still being set up and just opened recently. Kind of a pop up type vibe / ambiance. When we arrived we were greeted but the person didn't speak English and when I confirmed we were there for two facials and two kids scalp treatments per the appt, she looked at the girls and started saying things we couldn't understand. We used a translator on her phone to try to communicate, she was telling me the "babies" had too much hair and they couldn't wash "it" all out. My daughter has long thick curly hair and her friend has straight hair a few inches past her shoulders. No one had asked about length or texture or anything at the time of booking. We waited for another employee to come but she also couldn't communicate in English. I asked them via their translator about the facials we booked, thinking since they seemed to be saying they couldn't perform the scalp service since they could not wash the girls' hair out in thirty minutes. It was unclear if they didn't have time or wanted us to pay more money. This was their advertised service, we had planned on it... no disclaimers about long hair needing anything special in terms of cost or time, nothing about anything being put in that was difficult to wash out, I still have no idea what the issue was. I asked if they were trying to get me to pay more for a different service? They couldn't explain or answer anything well. They pointed at another package that cost twice what we had booked ($40 kids package, they wanted us to do the $80 package for both girls). The facials were additional obviously, but every time I asked about them they ignored me and continued saying they could not wash the kids hair. I was hoping we could just do facials and salvage the bday celebration. We couldn't have any conversation past that, even with the translator. I took time off work, and this was the last day before school starts that the girls were available to celebrate. None of that is Elodia's problem, they likely forgot that it was a special occasion but judging by the way they handled it, they probably wouldn't have cared. They need to make sure someone with the ability to communicate works there to help guests and they definitely need to update their pricing and information, if age is not the determining factor as they state, and length of hair is, they should tell people that up front instead of trying the bait and switch when customers arrive. We spent quite a while trying to communicate and when it was evident they could not and or would not be able to perform any of the four services we booked, and were just going to keep saying the same few words over and over (who knows if they would have also told me the girls faces were too big and would also cost extra for facials LOL)... we left. Anywhere who cared about customer service at all would have just performed the service they sold and let us know it took longer and might cost more next time. I would have tipped generously and appreciated them making the experience work, especially since it wasn't our fault they booked services they don't seem to have any clarity for. We were able to find another activity and the girls still had a great day but we will have to reschedule the spa experience and I would definitely urge against anyone going here until they figure things out. It's not a place I'd ever try again or recommend to anyone I like.
