Met a friend for pizza and beer.Looked up pizza on Yelp and this is where I landed. Good call Yelpers.The place was packed and barely found a spot to park. The Pizza was different but delicous. We order take out at the drive thru on a regular basis but the prices are really high so we have cut back. On our last visit we dined inside. I have to say we wished we had not. The service was not good, this restaurant really needs a make over. The walls are disgusting, the wood work is chipped and the place is freezing. With the prices they charge this restaurant should be able to do regular up keep and keep it at a comfortable temp. read more

With all the pizza places in the world, go to any one except this one. Went in on a Tuesday night and ordered eggplant parmesan with penne. My husband ordered spaghetti and meatballs. How do you mess that up???? Well, I had zero eggplant, just a pile of cheese with a few one inch pieces of eggplant skin in it and pasta that was clearly made another day and run under the faucet to heat up. The meatballs were clearly frozen out of a bag and not homemade. It was served with two one inch slices of cold hard cheese pizza that is supposed to be bruschetta?? not sure. Also came with a cup of chicken rice soup that was days old. The rice had all but disintegrated and the chicken was in shreds the width of a human hair. Had a chicken calzone to go and you could see the chicken parmesan through the dough and it was covered in tons of cheese. It was so greasy that it went through the box. All this cost $60 and we really should not have paid for any of it. My husband didn't want to make a scene or be embarrassed, but we will never go back. Home of the Best Calzones in the area, bar none. The 'small' chicken Parmesan calzone (cut into thirds to make it manageable) was out-of this-world great, with just the right balance of meat, sauce, cheese, dough, and spices. This was no surprise because Meatball calzones and Steak and Cheese calzones that I've had on prior visits were just a good. My buddy had a veggie calzone which he said was great. My wife ordered a seafood dish - The Shrimp Mediterranean - that she raved about for several days, noting that the roasted potatoes (ordered as a substitution) were equally good. The service was efficient and friendly, though the veggie calzone did arrive several minutes after the rest of the food. Somehow this place manages to convince me to try something different every time. As of yet, I haven't had anything that I didn't want to continually eat until heart failure. Their pizza is delicious-- not too much sauce-- and a good amount of cheese. Eggplant parm is fantastic-- no gooey eggplant here. I ordered a Shrimp scampi dinner, small greek salad, a large Calzone meat lover's special. Lastly a small calzone w/ Sausage, onion and mushroom... Formerly J and D pizza located where that Cumberland farms is across the way. They have since moved into the new place which I think is a great location. It features a large dining area, a full bar, many (6?) wide screen tv's and a caring and attentive staff. The food is very good to boot my fav is the grilled buffalo chicken pizza. read more

I use to like to come here. Because it is in walking distance from my house.Not so much in the last couple years. The manager is useless when there is an issue. One time the water in the bathroom stopped working, I had soap all over my hands. He looks nods and walks away. Later says well it was in the woman's room what did you want me to do. AND? Another time I point out a cockroach at the bar he looks grins and walks away. Well how about disposing of it? Yes it was dead. Nope. Tonight was the last time I eat there. How would you like some Calamari with a side of pubic hair. Not me. I showed it to the manager he looks take the plate grins and walks away. Really. I'm not looking for a free meal but how about some customer interaction. Anything. REALLY!! The woman who was opening the door was grumpy as hell. When I asked not to sit by the door she huffed her breath. Only gave two menus for 4 people then looked at me funny as I got up and got MYSELF 2 more. When the big party next to me left she complained how they moved the table. The prices went up the portions went down and the management sucks. No apology, no attempt to make an amendment to replace my dish (because I was only one bite in when this happened)... nothing. Did I mention no apology?!?! He was generous enough to take my meal off the bill (like he did me a favor) but did I say no apology?! Apparently, the management doesn't care about losing a customer or a poor review of its restaurant. I was appalled at the 'matter of fact' way we were treated when we are paying customers. I tried the House Special Calzone. It was a take out order. I called ahead from the road. They have a drive through for pick-ups but I went inside. The greeter was super friendly. My order was ready so I paid and left. When I got home the calzone was perfect. They gave us plenty of sauce. The small is more than enough for two people!! It was delicious. First time I ever ate here and first time I ever got FOOD POISONING. I got the steak tips with salad, French fries and veggies with green beans. Beware. My boyfriend got the same thing almost and didn't get any kind of food poisoning. Right when I was eating the food I felt strange. When I was driving home I almost fainted at the wheel had to pull over and vomit and then make my boyfriend drive home and rush so I could go to the bathroom. I also broke out in hives. The food portions have declined and the pizza is always undercooked and soggy. I always have gotten chicken finger platter and when I receive it the fries are so soggy I have to hear them back up and I only get a few chicken fingers. Terrible terrible terrible!!! Service was the worst. We visited after a soccer game in the area and waited 45minutes for the food until we left. The place was dead only a handful of customers with 4 teenage kids working all standing around. The waitress never came to us. We had to ask for another soda because the Sprite we ordered was seltzer and then had to ask for more place settings. There was a manager on however he was just as disinterested to be working and we had a feeling something was wrong with our order. Finally after being very patient we asked about our food only to be told they made a mistake with a calzone we ordered. Never did anyone tell us, bring us our other food or offer anything! Horrible we will never go back and we visit the soccer fields down there a lot. To bad as well for Briggs because we will spread the word of the horrible service. read more

Did they change their crust? I use to love this place and made it a stop a few times a year not living in the area any longer. However we stopped in this week on our yearly pilgrimage to LaSalette and the pizza was just blah. It almost seemed like they started using Sysco pre-made frozen dough. The fries weren't that great either, they serve those weird textured fries. However our server ( Dom I think ) was great, very polite and even joked around with my 4 year old. Briggs please get a better crust and start cutting your own fries and I will 5 star the review. read more

Food is pretty good, however the service is something that needs to be worked on. Called to discuss the daminier of the drive -thru attendant, the Manager Tammy, was very hostile and defensive, as she stated it could have been herself or another colleague however there was no sign of being apologetic on the encounter, instead provided the fact she was the manager for 18 years and when asked to speak with the owner, was told he would not speak to anyone. The entire encounter was just so unprofessional especially for a business that relies on people wanting their service. read more

I expected a nice evening out with friends, but wow, I chose the wrong place. Absolutely awful from the moment we walked in the door. The place was not even busy and when we stepped in, the hostess just looked at us awkwardly for a few seconds before bringing us to a table and just walked away without saying a word. We ordered an appetizer: garlic bread. It was quite lacking in garlic to be honest and was over saturated with butter. I ordered a chicken caesar wrap and my friend ordered the baked shells with meatballs. His dish was dirty and quite unappetizing in appearance. He bit into the meatball and was instantly taken aback. He said they were obviously frozen. I took a bite and sure enough they were absolutely frozen meatballs. Gross and unappetizing. Especially when people are paying a decent amount of money for poor quality food. His pasta was overcooked and the whole dish just kind of became a pile of mush over time. My chicken was dry and the croutons were soggy. There was barely any caesar dressing in the wrap. The waitress briefly stopped over and asked how everything was and I replied "not great" and she just walked off right before I was going to let her know I didn't want the meal at all. When it came time to pay I tried again to stop her but she just dropped the bills and walked off not paying attention. The restaurant was still not busy at this point. There were maybe five tables with customers at them. I was sitting there for a while trying to get a hold of someone and when I finally did I explained to them that I would like to be compensated for my meal. They went to get our waitress and after I explained the issue she snatched up the check in a huff and came back with the new one. When she returned to the table she said "you know, you should have told me that you didn't want this. I came over and asked how everything was several times and you didn't say anything." She only came over one time to check on the table as I had previously mentioned. Extremely rude server, overpriced and poor quality food, dirty dishes, dirty bathrooms, a waste of time and money. Never going back. The only people that appeared to be enjoying themselves were regulars. Highly advise against this place unless you would enjoy being ripped off and eating reheated garbage on a dirty plate. read more

However, as I discovered when I was eating my leftovers the next day, I did have a surprise extra ingredient I wasn't expecting ... GLASS!!!! Yep, nice fresh, crunchy glass shards in my already messed up calzone. I called the restaurant, they asked me to bring in my food to show them, and they promptly made me another calzone ... without asking me what I wanted for a resolution. The last thing I wanted at that time was another calzone. I did not get an explanation, barely got an apology, and was told to "Think about karma..." when I objected to having another calzone made. Nothing was said to any of the cooks about the problem, they were simply ordered to make me a calzone. Please, be careful if you still choose to eat here. read more

I have been going to Briggs for quite some time have lived in Attleboro for many years I love the prices and it is so close to my house so it's convenient I love the drive thru very organized and have not messed up my order once in over three years the only thing that needs to be changed is the way they make their subs the past couple of times I have gone there and gotten a steak and cheese sub the bread is completely drenched in grease it's very sloppy the meat is great cooked perfectly but I always have to put it in another piece of bread but other than that great service read more
