I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with both the customer service I received and the quality of products from Brighton, a brand I have supported loyally for many years. In November, my daughter purchased a bracelet for me as a Christmas gift. Within just a few months of light wear, the magnetic clasp failed to fasten properly. By February, the issue had worsened to the point where the bracelet was no longer functional. When I brought the item to your store at SanTan Village, I was assisted by Fiona Carr. Unfortunately, my experience with her was extremely unpleasant. She was dismissive, rude, and condescending in her communication. Despite the product clearly being defective, I was told it had to be sent out for repair rather than replaced. After waiting four weeks, I received the bracelet back, only to find that the clasp issue persisted. When I returned to the store with my repair receipt and explained that the problem had not been resolved, Fiona again insisted it be sent out for repair. I demonstrated that even the display versions in-store had similar fastening issues, including the same style with a topaz stone. Reluctantly, I agreed to exchange the bracelet for a different one (blue instead of topaz), even though it was not what I originally wanted. By this point, my only goal was to avoid any further interaction with the store. During the transaction, Fiona's behavior remained unprofessional. She dropped the receipt in front of me without acknowledgment, and when I thanked her, she turned away without response. This level of discourtesy is unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed--not only in the declining quality of your jewelry, but more importantly in the lack of basic customer service standards demonstrated by a store representative. This experience has permanently damaged my perception of your brand, and I will not be returning as a customer. I strongly urge you to address both the product quality issues and the conduct of your staff. read more

Great service... Carrie at the San Tan Mall helped me she was super nice and very helpful. I needed a repair for my turtle keychain which I have had for a long time, I love it, and I always get complements and people ask where I got it. Brighton fixed my turtle, or it looks so good it could have been replaced with a new one. Ask for Carrie she's very helpful. Thanks Brighton. read more

My son and I went in Brighton at San Tan Village today and was appalled at the customer service there. A very snooty woman with short blonde-black rooted hair was at the front entrance. I went to the necklaces to buy one and she basically shoved me out of the way to show someone else a necklace that I was looking at. She didn't say a word just came within inches of me and stepped right in front of me. I agree with the other comments made regarding customer service and the employees attitudes. I will never go in there again, this wasn't my first experience with rude employees there either. I'll shop on line or find another brand that's just as decent!!! read more

I love this Brighton location. I have been in this location maybe 5 times total since I found out about it right before Christmas. I have dealt with almost every employee there. Every single employee was very helpful and one of them won me over. I don't use purses or where jewelry often. Well that was until I found Brighton's bright star. This employee was amazing. I came In to get a charm for my purse. She didn't have one that I could get, but with her creative mind she made one for me out of a keychain and charms. I love it and still use it til this day. I've been to this store several times to purchase gifts. I would have to say Hillary is the nicest employee. She is the friendliest and most helpful. I have found everyone else seems to have an attitude and does not make eye contact. Two employees walked by me without asking if I needed help, and I was clearly standing at the charms needing help. 5 stars to Hillary, but the other gals knocked it down to 4. read more

The manager came in hot. Told me I was wrong on a repair. Talked down to me and raised her voice. She should be ashamed of herself. I am not impressed with this store. Although I've always loved the merchandise they carry, I finally made my first purchase four days ago. The item I wanted wasn't in store (even though she initially said that the computer indicated that it was), so they offered to special order it for me. I agreed, and when she rang up the item, she told me that it was on sale. She said it would take 10 days for the order to come in...a bit of a wait, but it was the only way I could get the item. When I got home, I saw that the money was already out of my account. Four days later, I received a phone call from the store that they couldn't special order the item because it was on sale. I asked why the money was out of my account, and why it took four days for them to realize that they couldn't special order my item (no wonder it takes them 10 days to get the item to people). They couldn't answer me, and offered to give me a refund. First they wanted me to come back to the store to process the refund. I said no, and told them they would have to do it over the phone. I wasn't about to waste gas going back to the store for their mistake. She processed the refund, and when I asked her why I could purchase the item on the Brighton website for full price (no sale online, apparently), but they couldn't special order the item for me as promised, she had no answer for me. So, it seems to me like Brighton decided that they didn't want to honor the sale price. I had to purchase the item (I couldn't get it anywhere else - and believe me, I tried) for full price from the Brighton website. Somehow, during my purchase on the website, my basket indicated I had two items in my cart. I immediately changed and updated the cart so that it only had the one item I wanted. When I was checking out, it said that I would be able to review my order on the next screen. Well, apparently that was wrong. It completed the order, and somehow I was charged for two items, not one. I am positive that I removed that item from my cart. When I tried to change the order, their website says that orders cannot be changed after they are placed, but rest assured I could return the item to a Brighton store if I no longer wanted it. That's all well and good, but what about the shipping I had to pay for that item? That's $2.50 out of my pocket for yet another one of their mistakes. After this purchase, I am never stepping foot into Brighton again. I can't believe the horrible way this company is run. If you can, go somewhere else. read more

Last time I will ever shop at this location. Ran in with a quick question if a bracelet could be repaired . Informed they were not in the business of repairing only warranty and my bracelet was so old anyways. (Yes, it is and one of my favorites). Went back to her conversation with other associate as if we weren't even there with no offer of help to find something similar or further conversation. I have been in this store numerous times and have always received the best service!! But today was absolutely incredible and I must share...I came there this week to use my birthday gift card from the store...In the mail today I received a lovely card hand written from Tammy who helped me out this week- She not only thanked me for my business but wished me a happy birthday on the 16th (my actually bday) and remembered that I was leaving this week to celebrate my mothers birthday and wished her well for her 80th!!...She definitely went above and beyond ...I've always had wonderful service at this location...(Other locations not so much)...Thank you Tammy and Brighton for showing what true customer service really is!! read more

Really loved my saleswoman and her knowledge and help with me buying Christmas presents for my girlfriend. However, this review is focused on the after-care/support of their merchandise which I am extremely disappointed about. I purchased 4 items from them, one being a purse. It was a surprise Christmas present for my girlfriend and the purse was $370. When my girlfriend opened it she loved it, but because she is 5'1" and petite the purse hung too low and rested almost to her knees when carrying it on her shoulder. We called to see if Brighton would help us with the situation with either another strap or maybe making another few holes in the strap to make the strap shorter but they were not helpful at all and just referred us to a 'shoe maker' and we would not be reimbursed. I don't care if we weren't reimbursed but to not stand by your product and refer us outside to someone random you don't know is unacceptable. Very disappointing. Coach or Versace or Gucci would not do this to their customers. At the price point of the purse I purchased I would expect a little more from Brighton. Very disappointed. read more

First, let me say that I have been shopping at this San Tan location for the past 10 years. It has by far been my favorite Brighton store. I got a call this week to come in for my birthday gift and I was super excited to come pick out a new piece of Brighton jewelry. Unfortunately, today was the worst experience I've ever had in this store. I asked Tammy Z what the birthday gift included. She asked my name so she could look it up. I told her my last name and she did not hear me and asked if my last name was FLORES. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and thought she may have not heard me correctly through my mask and not just assumed I had a Hispanic last name because of the color of my skin. I let it pass. I wanted a pair of sunglasses today. There was a lady trying on several pair so I waited patiently for her to finish. Tammy Z stood and watched us both. When she finished I stepped up and grabbed a pair to look at. Tammy immediately spoke up and pulled out a table where I could place the glasses I had touched so that she could sanitize them with alcohol wipes. Now I was upset. I asked her why she didn't tell the previous lady who had just tried on several pair, the same thing. In fact the pair I chose was full of makeup and finger prints. Were the things I touched needing more sanitized than the blonde haired lady in front of me? I have never been treated so poorly or unwelcome at this store. I know they have a certain look they are going for when hiring employees. Generally, they are classy, well informed, and helpful. I hope that racism isn't a new qualification! I see there are a few reviews abo ut Hilary. I was lucky to have a great experience buying. I walked into the store and immediately began searching for the vertigo set. Dawn came by and ask how I was doing and that she was searching for - while turning the display as if looking at jewelry. I told her I was too. She walked away never offering to help so I felt like she was just making sure I wasn't shoplifting. Hilary came by later to ask if I needed help finding anything. I am a regular shopper of Brighton jewelry. I don't know why I continue to go into this particular store in San Tan Mall! I am rarely greeted when I enter the store. They act as if you are an inconvenience and have hassled my TWO returns WITH RECEIPT! I have had to deal with the difficult woman, Hilary, both times. I brought it to attention of store manager. I keep saying I will drive all the way to Chandler. They clearly do not understand the importance of exceptional service in these days. So, to Chandler location from now on! read more

I love Brighton!! My husband got me hooked on the jewelry 8 years ago and I've been obsessed ever since. I am especially fond of this SanTan location. Every time I go in I receive a friendly greeting and the staff is super helpful and so fun! They always look so great and professional so it makes me want to buy everything they're wearing :). There're are so many beautiful things in the store so I have a hard time narrowing down what to get and the gals there have been great at giving their input to help me decide. I feel like I'm shopping with my girlfriends when I go there. Even when the store is busy the gals still go out of their way to make sure the customers feel welcome and offer water or cookies. This is the only Brighton I will visit and I've shopped at many other locations. I would give them many more stars if I could! read more
