Too much miss communication with the customer, sales rep, and mechanics. Took in my truck to have the sparkplugs and coils changed. I had changed my mind about the parts I bought. Since I took the truck in at closing the day before I figured I'd call them the next day and have job cancelled. I was told that they already started the truck somehow before opening shop...and that the parts were already being installed. Then I get a call at lunch that the plugs were out of spec and they needed another set, but at the same was also told nothing was installed. I questioned them about this and said ok put the new plugs in, but don't touch the other parts, so I can return them. Later about 3 PM I get a call that their mechanic had already installed everything and that there was a "miscommunication" so I bought new parts and couldn't return the ones I had. No resolution was offered other than they can pull the parts out. That did me no good because once installed they can't be returned... No discount or anything and I had to eat the cost. After being told installation of two tie rod ends would be 149.00 and the cost of the parts were 169.64 plus 40.00 in "shop supplies' equals 358.64. I asked them to to put on the front brake pads. (Which no other brake work was done in turning rotors). That total was 699.00..... that is 340.64 to put on brake pads without turning of the rotors. By the way I supplied the pads. Next I was told that I needed an alignment.... New total is 856.91..... Add this up and it is a ridiculous amount for slapping on brake pads. Not to mention I was told the alignment was going to be 99.00 plus "shop supplies". Obviously this wasn't true. Labor of 630.00......Wow. It took two days to complete. They had NOO PROBLEM allowing me to leave in that condition! My car was shaking and rattling after I left. No, I didn't have have that problem initially! If I can give 0 stars, I would. Went in to get an alignment on my boyfriend's truck. It is a 2020 GMC sierra 2500 durmax so somewhat of an expensive truck. We dropped it off at open (8am) and did not hear back until 5pm. We called multiple times for updates around noon and my phone call got disconnected multiple times. Worst part about this experience was the accident that occurred with his truck. During the alignment, the front passenger side slipped off the machine holding it in the air. This caused the passenger fender to be ruined, the passenger door was bent in places, and a lot of damage under the truck. The owner (Martin) did not disclose the extent of the damages on the vehicle when he called my boyfriend at 5pm. He also didn't disclose that the truck was not turning on. We decided to involve our personal insurance and get a police report. Martin was being hostile towards us making that decision. When I asked for his insurance information, he stated that "Texas doesn't require them to have insurance" and that the BYOP was going to pay for it out of pocket. Whole situation seemed sketchy and we did not trust his opinion on the care for the truck. Martin also used unprofessional language that involved him saying "well I don't understand why you have to involve insurance when we are paying for it out of pocket". His tone was very unprofessional and made the experience worse. I only came to this shop because I know a specific mechanic that works there and I trust. I understand accidents happen and this was a "freak" accident, but the process and experience after was the worst part. read more

So a friend of mine had been talking about this place and how he wanted to take his vehicle there. Im surprised that more places like this don't exist, because you can ALWAYS get parts cheaper than what most dealerships or large mechanic chains sell them for. Most people either don't know that, or are too lazy to look around online to find something cheaper. Also, a lot of places wont take outside parts and install them on your vehicle. This is how they make money off of you. Take notes people!! I needed to get my rack and pinion replaced, so I called to get a quote. The guy I talked to on the phone gave me a quote that was actually cheaper than I was expecting. So I take my own part over there (bandera location), and go inside. The one guy I talked to (Martin I believe) was very professional. And I say that because a lot of places you go to...the service people act as if you HAVE to get work done there. They got my vehicle in and got to work. It did take a bit longer than expected but here's why. During the installation they found other stuff that needed to be fixed. Surprise surprise, right?. He took me outside and showed me what needed to be fixed. However, what set this guy apart from most others is that he didn't try to force me to get anything. Most places will make it seem like your vehicle is about to blow up if you don't get a new air filter. Martin showed me what I needed, got me quotes, but didn't pressure me. He sat there patiently as I cursed and chose which ones I wanted to replace. I can only give them 3 stars tho. After they installed the new part and I drove off...my vehicle started making a new noise. a loud one at that. I took it back to have them look at it again. there was something they didn't remove during the install that was rubbing against something else and making a bad sound. I didn't like that. If I could give 0 stars I would. Please read all the reviews before you take your vehicle. I took my car in just to have a coolant temp sensor replaced. I was quoted 129.00 for it. Next thing I knew of course now I need a new thermostat, and a couple of other things to go along with it. Well 4 hours later and 562.00 I am told that they can not figure out what is wrong with my car. It was not over heating when I took it in, and they're telling me that it is over heating now. The idiots suggested for me to come back tomorrow so that they could take the whole day to diagnose something as simple as changing a thermostat, or sensor. They tell me that they do not suggest me driving it like it is. If anything is wrong with it, it would be a problem that they created, and they would not be responsible because they do not want me to drive it like it is. My car was running fine before they worked on it. First I had the receptionist try to explain to me why it took four hours, and she's telling me the car is not fixed. Then the mechanic came out to repeat the same bull****. I finally just asked her to please stop talking to me. I guess there was a misunderstanding on the price, because I thought I was quoted 349.00 for everything. NO that was in addition to my first quote. CRUCES!!!!!!!!!!!! Never Ever Again!!! I went to get a break caliber and brakes changed and was quoted $484.99.. I was told they don't make any money on parts and purchasing the parts through them would be at no additional cost. So I did so. Upon trying to up sale me on some additional services, the rep showed me his computer screen where the part he invoiced as $119 was actually only 79.. A $50 mark-up!! I called it to his attention and he notated the difference in price. Upon paying for the services I noticed the invoice was still the same price as before even with the $50 difference. Once again I called the price to his attention. He then goes back to the invoice to show that the adjustment was made and the price was the same. I take a closer look at the invoice and I see an added line for "Fuel Flush+$50".. I then called that to question. Nothing of any sort was requested or agreed to and labor was already included in the original invoice. He then looked me in the face and said "Thats for bleeding the breaks" As if I didn't know that is a part of changing breaks and calibers. He went ahead and removed the charge that had "randomly" been added since discovering I was being scammed on the parts!! Ok, this is an updated version and as you can see I am giving them one star. This is for two reasons. I am going there because I like to get full synthetic oil in my car and I bring my oil with me and they just change it. Now my car takes about six quart's, this would be one case or one large container of oil. I brought a case of five and a large container and was hoping they would of course use the large container dirt and leave the case with five single quarts so I can keep them, but they common sense isn't common and now I have a large container I don't want to carry in my car. For not having common sense they list one point. This would give them three points out of the four I gave before. Now the other points they lost because they wanted to sell be an injection system cleaning. I drive a trailblazer and the throttle body gets dirty on this vehicle. In general you take it out, use throttle body cleaner and everything is fine again. I do not need some injection cleaning as they tried to sell me. Yeah they said just $99 would be the normal price but just today half price off. A can of such cleaner cost $4 so I will do it myself. So for these two reasons they lost all stars i gave them. They were good in the beginning but now I have to find another place that can do my oil change the way I want it done. What a shame, they were a good company in the beginning. And after thinking about it, my vehicle takes 6 quarts of oil, I provided a 6 quart container and 5 one quart container and they only use the five single ones, so what did they use for the last missing quart? I bought full synthetic, so I hope they didn't use some lower quality one after I provided plenty of oil for my vehicle. Yes stay away from that place, they went way down. read more

Quote they gave me over the phone compared to what they told me at the location begin with was wrong. But I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Once they had told me the price I agreed leaving my car behind. A few hrs passed and I had to call in order to find out that the didn't have a certain part and it would have to remain overnight. They didn't even call to let me know. Followed by the next day they called me to inform that the parts they got where a extra 98.00 dollars making it $412.00 which they had originally quoted me at $334.00. BTOP on 1604 is a total RIP OFF. This business should be called Bring Your Petroleum Jelly for the way they screwed me. I had them replace my brakes and do some suspension work, on my Sierra and now my truck rides worse and the brakes are far worse than when I took my it in there. Their shoddy work wasn't immediately evident so I took my wife's car to have headlight lamps replaced. No other issue did I have with her car. the day after I picked up her car all of a sudden I'm having motor mount problems. They sent me a video of the motor damn near jumping out the car. Not knowing that I've seen done this type work before. All the while they have someone in the car shifting the car from drive to reverse to create the appearance that the mounts were bad. Upon seeing this video I jumped in my truck and retrieved my truck from them. Took it to Cavender GMC, had the mounts and serpentine belt replaced and a lower price using genuine GMC parts. I needed a motor swap on my vehicle. I called them for a quote. He quoted me $1900 for labor plus any other parts needed. We ended up settling on $1500, out the door including taxes, fees, & parts. However, that was not the case. By the end of a very hard road dealing with this company, it ended up at the original quote. He made final price at $2000 for labor plus parts & taxes. Turns out, that was what he wanted from the beginning. Since they had already done the work, I had to choice but to pay the balance of $2400, instead of the original $1500 price. I will definitely not be returning back to this mechanic. I have dealt with lots of other companies, & I have never had this happen.
