    Steak Tartare
    Lori R.

When I write these reviews, obviously it's important to consider the quality:cost aspect. Certainly, an inexpensive pizza place can still have 5 stars even though you may never get what you would in a high end Italian restaurant because you can't compare apples to oranges.. So with that said, the food was decent but I think it fell short compared to what it cost. Two appetizers, 3 total drinks, and 2 entrees were about $265 (not including the tip). The food was decent but did not wow, though I do feel certainly that the ambiance was great and it would be a nice place for drinks. The view of the stadium was very fun as well. The steak tartare was very good, not the absolute best I've had but absolutely the best that I've had from this area. The burrata was tasty as well. The steak was the duck fat marinated ribeye, it had way too much salt so it was a bit difficult to appreciate its true taste. The summer in Italy drink was delicious, they did a nice job with it. Here's the other caveat, I had serious GI issues for about 36 hours following the meal. I don't think it quite qualified or felt like food poisoning but it was brutal. I'm never one to call out of work and I didn't but I was concerned that's where we were headed. I'm not sure the cause of it but it does make me somewhat hesitant to go back. Service was slow but our waiter was very nice, attentive and considerate. Overall, there are some perks and some downsides. Again, great bar vibe and fun views, but probably wouldn't do the whole meal again.

The food was pretty good. I ate off of the appetizer specials menu. I had the chilled sesame ginger tuna tataki and the meatballs. The one thing I didn't like, and you need to be aware of is that there is a 3% up charge if you use a credit card. Usually this wouldn't be an issue but I was traveling for business and I had to use my corporate credit card. That 3% charge put me over my per diem. That's why they didn't get 4 stars.

This is my second visit and I enjoyed it. From the valet service, to the deliciousness of our food, it was an exceptional experience. It was not jammed packed like it was during my first visit. This time it was well spaced to enjoy a private meal in an intimate setting. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable of the restaurant and what it had to offer. I was curious of the meatballs after seeing a picture of it online and it did not disappoint! It was delicious! My daughter and I were celebrating her 27th birthday and I wanted to give her an experience. Brinkley's didn't disappoint. I highly recommend this restaurant.

One of the most expensive meal options around, the steak, atmospheres and staff are worth the price. Skip the tiny tasteless desserts.

I heard good things about this place so I've been wanting to come here for a long time. Does bread not come with the meal or is it extra charge if we ask for it? No idea because the waitress did not clarify and we therefore did not get any bread with our meal. The wagyu tasting appetizer was very mediocre and in my opinion not worth it. I would choose other appetizers instead. The hangar steak and filet mignon we got were both perfectly delicious. My filet didn't come with the potato croquette as promised and I had to ask for it after I noticed. When it finally came out, the potato croquette was basically a plain fried mashed potato ball. If you have the option to switch it out for another side, please do. We got the basque cheesecake for dessert and it was also very average. The end of the dinner left a bad impression when we were presented with the dinner total without an itemized bill and an additional credit card processing fee. After we asked for a receipt, they realized they charged us for an extra drink, which wouldn't have been caught otherwise. Also what's with the extra 3.5% credit card processing fee? This is supposed to be a high end restaurant, not nickel and diming people over a $200+ bill.

We had a date night to brinkleys and I enjoyed myself. We opted for outside seating instead of inside. The drinks were amazing. The service was great. Our server was extremely attentive & knew the menu well. We thoroughly enjoyed the tomahawk & to no one's surprise we didn't finish it lol. The server boxed it for us to go & we finished it the next day. Overall 10/10. I will be back!

Risotto (a bit under), stawberry and peach salad with salmon (probably my favorite out of our meal that night), scallops, oysters.

A little sad they no longer have tini Tuesday and wine down Wednesday on our recent visit bit we still enjoyed our meal. Our food came out quickly we got a lot of things to share. I think the sides are a good size for sharing. I love that they have bread pudding have different flavors that change all the time.

Incredible ambiance and standout service! Tanner was very professional, communicative, and friendly. The restaurant was beautifully located at the beginning of North Augusta and across the canal. Parking was just a little walk away but they also have valet available. Scallops, pork chops, cheesecake, and fried green tomatoes were delicious.

This place is awesome. We went with some friends and the four of us had a wonderful time. We thought the food was great. I had such a good time. I'm planning on going back real soon. Maybe within the next week. They have excellent steak choices. Nice cuts, prime meat you can't miss. Give it a try.

    Mezcal old fashioned

First experience was not bad. Alan if I remembered correctly was entertaining at the bar. The lobster bisque was very off. I haven't had anything of that consistency ever. It was a very gritty texture. However my chicken dish was delicious and the mezcal old fashioned yummy. I love how the baseball stadium is connected. Next time in town I will visit again and try one of the steaks.

The service and ambiance was great! Can't wait to return to try different dishes! Menu changes so can't wait to see what they have on the next visit.

8oz Filet Mignon and creamed corn. The Brinkleys Butger with mashed potatoes and Calamari. Macallan 10 years and Prosecoo w/vanilla vodka.

The service at Brinkleys is always top notch, the food and presentation are another level of amazing cuisine. The layers of flavors mixed with great company and even better alcohol keep me always coming back for more.

If you've never been there, they will start you out with samples of all of their lemonade (which all of them are incredibly flavorful) and you'll inevitably get one because it's THAT good. The staff comes with recommendations to help you navigate the menu and they are so attentive and helpful. I'd go as far to say that they had some of the best service in Augusta. Now to the food, 10/10 I could not recommend them enough. I've had the honey lemon pepper wings and the loyalty platter. And it was so good. The honey lemon pepper wings were full of deep flavor and they give you at-least 10 wings with the plate. The steak and shrimp are the best seasoned meats I've ever had at a restaurant. I've also had a few nibbles of their seafood and ‍. Then when you're ready for dessert, don't worry you get samples too. The blue velvet is my favorite but all of them are award winning so you can't go wrong when it comes to Nattas sweet treats. Over all, great experience, great people, and great place. Get out and support local, it'll never disappoint. P.S. if you think it's pricey, you're wrong. You get what you pay for here. You get no less than two meals out of one plate.

The portion sizes are generous and very tasty. I made a Southern Palmer with their Peach Tea and Unsweetened Ice Tea 1/2 & 1/2 of both mixed together, was the perfect beverage to pair with the Honor Platter. I finished the honorable meal with The Strawberry Velvet Cake Brownie & Red Velvet Brownie dessert pairing. The service from when I stepped in, while eating and leaving was exceptional, inviting and very pleasant. Shurell was fabulous, vibrant and a fresh of breath air. I highly recommend Kitchen Kings x Natta's Sweet Bakery to discover Augusta's Hidden Gem off Gordon Hwy. The Ambiance was the perfect R&B Vibe for a casual, sexy Saturday. The music Playlist was the perfect R&B garnish to the entire dining experience. I will be back for their Low Country Boil & the wonderful Strawberry Velvet Cake. Kings Kitchen x Natta's Sweet Bakery will not disappoint you. In fact, it will make ypur day better. First things first... the hostess Lyne set the tone immediately. Personable, funny, and quick-witted. She picked up on my husband's "I like to cause a little trouble just because I can" energy within seconds. Without missing a beat she said, "Listen... we're going to put him in time out right there." Another guest nearby started chuckling and I knew right then we were in good hands. Our waitress Kim was just as amazing. Attentive without hovering, friendly, and she kept checking on us to make sure we were good and boxed up once we tapped out. Now let's talk about the food... whew chile. I ordered the Lady Killer and let me tell you... it absolutely understood the assignment. Whatever magic was happening in that kitchen... keep doing it. The salad was huge. I only made it a few bites before I had to surrender. The rest went upstairs with me because wasting food is not in my ministry. And the cocktail... round of applause... smooth, balanced, and pretty enough to make you pause before the first sip. All in all... great energy, great service, and food that delivered. The manager walked around inquiring about the service given. Someone mentioned they weren't happy about their food and she appeared genuinely concerned as she further asked questions and how to take care of the matter. I was impressed. For me it's the small things like this that'll guarantee me being repeat... Separate review for the hotel itself coming up!...

The menu is a thoughtful fusion--think jalapeño cornbread salad and impeccably fresh ingredients that shine in every dish. We sat at the bar and received excellent service--our bartender was attentive, with spot-on food and drink recommendations. Their house-infused spirits and handcrafted mixers made for refreshing, balanced cocktails. We tried a wide selection, and the pork chop was the favorite--smoky, juicy, and bold. Venison followed closely behind, rich and perfectly cooked. Scallops were a bit fishy but beautifully plated. The eggplant fries and mussels app combo was unexpectedly delightful--sweet, savory, spicy... fire. And dessert? The chocolate mousse cake with a shot of espresso martini wrapped up the meal on a luxurious note. If you're looking for refined Southern fare with an inventive edge, Frog Hollow delivers.
