    If I could give ZERO stars, I would. When Monitronics managed my security system they rocked it. Brinks bought them out and everything went to crap. See the attached photo? That is how long you are on hold every time you call. Nearly 3 hours!!! I tried to cancel last year because of the wait time on the phone and the rep said that the long hold times are due to Covid. BS. Hire people. I have purposely been setting off my alarm system for months now and NO ONE answers the alarm. I called regarding this very problem and someone finally answered nearly 3 hours into holding. Because I had to hold so long, I cancelled my service. Had to pay $300 to get out of my contract because I was breaking it. But weren't they breaking it by NOT answering my alarms?? BS. The woman did everything in her power to get me to stay, but I told her I'd rather deal with a break-in than deal with Brinks crap service anymore. DO NOT GET BRINKS. They charge and do not monitor. Now they are sending emails offering me monthly fee of $14.00 to stay. I wouldn't stay if it were free. The phone issues alone are enough to drive someone mad.

    This company is unbelievable!! Trying to get a tech guy out has been a nightmare to say the least. No service since November and have called, made appointment for tech guy to fix system but as ALWAYS they are a no show!! Call again, reschedule to ANOTHER no show. I then call to cancel in January since tech services doesn't exist but their monthly billing continues to roll in every month! They talk me into upgrading my system, reluctantly I accept but to no avail ANOTHER no show. I'm getting furious at this point. I have a non-working security system. They apologized and stated they will be replacing my entire system for mine is out dated...YES I have been a customer for years!! I said if you don't show I'm done. Feb. 3rd is my date at 8-12noon!! Yep like clockwork they text to reschedule on Feb 1st. Now I have Feb 25th 12-5pm. Here we go, I get another text now they will be here at 8pm!! Absolutely not!! I advised you have all day on the 25th up to 3pm. If you can't be here cancel my service. And as you can guess NO SHOW!! Now I have called every dept. Just to be hung up on. 6 times in one day. I finally get someone who tells me this is the collection department for I am 3 months past due. They offer me a discount (-$15) if I pay today. Are you kidding me. My system has not been working since November I not paying. Cancel my service. Yep disconnect again. I have called several more time and waiting on hold for HOURS up to 2-1/2 one day and still no answer just hold music. This is crazy!! YES I am on hold again now with the cancellation department almost an hour now. This company is undeserving of customers. Customer service and tech services gets a ZERO rating from me!! ~Katrina McGowan

    Scam company, all talk no follow through. Be careful using them as they don't follow through with their comments.

I have a new construction home and one of my first projects was networking/cabling. I wanted two Ubiquiti APs (one on each floor), several Ubiquiti PoE security cameras, and two CAT6 drops into bedrooms which the builder didn't add. Starlight Tech was able to take care of all of this and the best part was minimal holes in the drywall. There were some small holes that Mike told me about ahead of time, but they were small enough to be covered by standard wall plates. On the day of the install, Starlight Tech was here on time, worked together to make sure everything was done in a clean and neat manner, and made sure everything was fully up and running before leaving. They even came back on a second occasion because I was still waiting to order a final security camera. I've recommended Starlight Tech to my neighbors and highly recommend them for any networking or cabling job needed. They are extremely detailed and are excellent at problem solving. The price I paid was very fair for all the work they did. Thank you Mike, Javad, and the Starlight Tech team!!

Pat's suggestion is he's coming out Monday and he's going to bring a amp, take care of the overheating and create a real easy solution. By a Sonos system so both me and my wife can control the music on our phones. It's very hard to find somebody that doesn't worry about money as much as taking care of your problems. Affordable prices and he sat down with me for a while to make sure I got what he was saying he's Just a great guy. I highly recommend him, I'm an electrical contractor and I need an audio video low-voltage guy. He is gonna be my connection for people that need those services. Been a number of break-ins and even robberies in my quiet corner of the world. So, I felt I needed to beef up the home security. Made the call and scheduled to get an assessment of my property and a quote. The gentleman who came out was incredibly polite and a straight shooter. Broke down his recommendations, explained the benefit of his products, and gave me a fair price. We needed 14 window screens and 3 doors. They custom manufacture everything locally, so I had to wait about 6 weeks till they could install (apparently a lot of other folks before me in similar circumstances, so could not be fast tracked any sooner). Once they completed all the window & door screens, they confirmed the installation dates and scheduled our start time. Installation was smooth. The crew was very tidy and handled their business like pros. I was pleased with the fit and finish of the final product and do not regret my purchase. The screens do not hinder my view from the inside and the frames do not ruin the aesthetics of the house. Door hardware works very well and seems sturdy. Nice to know I can leave my windows open at night now without worry of break ins. Very pleased with the product and service of this company. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to add an extra layer of security to their home or business.

Lots of similar reviews about poor follow up. Nobody wants to do business in this manner. No matter what - you can always call. And do what you say your're going to do! Ridic! Already ordered my screen door with another wonderful company, Progressive Screen Doors (Daniel). My new door will be installed in 4 weeks.
