I came here to try the brunch and was immediately impressed by the gorgeous layout of the restaurant. There are plenty of windows and dim lit interior which sets an intimate and enchanting mood. They also have a selection of desserts and baked goods by the entrance. The brioche breaky croissant was honestly the best stuffed croissant I've ever had. The cream sauce and combination of three cheeses baked was delicious. The French toast unfortunately fell a bit short of expectations. I was hoping for it to come more dressed with toppings, though it only was served with some fruits and jam. If you're someone that prefers more a plain and clean dish though this would be great. The pistachio latte was amazing, I like that all the pistachio frosting and chunks were on the rim so you could decide your sweetness for each sip.

Charming place, greatly decorated and super clean. Great place to take a sweetheart. Owner came by to talk with me and it felt nice to know a little bit about the restaurant. The food takes a while to get to the table, but it is soo fresh and aromatic that it's worth the wait. The ciopinno was tantalizing. The bread was fluffy and seasoned. And the parpadella with seafood was a delight, very true to Italian and seaside form. Only two beers on tap, but the do have many by the bottle. They have many house wines. I asked for a house wine that is not too dry and they served me a perfect pour. The prices are VERY fair given the quality and location.

My lovely wife...incredible ribs, spinach cheese ravioli with Alfredo sauce and garlic bread for dipping...OMG

Amazing...like being in Italy...the food, the service, the vibe...our server, Burack!! So accommodating... you wont go wrong. "We'll be back." Say it like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Basically the best Cioppino I've had anywhere. So rich and creamy. Most of the time the soup is just a broth with some flavor at the end of the sip, but this was amazingly good and rich. I finished most of it. Their Bolognese sauce is also scrumptious. My son devoured much of it. Very authentic and delicious. The only thing that wasn't the best was the seafood pasta with the combination marinara/pesto sauce. It needed salt and was pretty bland. I would skip it next time, but I would definitely come back. Wonderful service and I like how they had large picnic tables outside for people like me who have messy kids. Very kid friendly and nice for people watching.

creme brulee - so good!

Came here twice in 2 days and ordered the exact same thing. The first time we came was on a tour and we got the sample of the cheese tortellini with salciccia. It was so exceptional we came back the next day to have that exact meal for lunch. And it was absolutely, 100% worth it. Also had some red wine. They have a special for a free dessert. Turns out you have to spend at least CA$40 to get it, which we did. So we got the creme brulee and it was sooooo good! I have to be honest, I am not sure I would have stopped here had we not come here on the tour but super glad we did because that pasta was so good! There menu is so grandiose and I would 100% come back and try more.

Everyone in this place was delicious. I will come back for sure and 100% suggest everyone to try it out and you won't regret

Cioppino and the special (Rockfish, scallops, shrimp over pasta)

Stopped into this cute little Gastown restaurant on a rainy day and didn't regret it! Really massive portions and all delicious. I enjoyed the Cioppino, and my husband had the special, which included Rock Fish, shrimp and scallops. I personally enjoyed his scallops and shrimp the most, but everything was good! And a great price for the portions - I recommend sharing or getting it to-go! The service was nice, prompt and they were very kind. My only criticism is that it felt a bit warm in there, but we had sweaters on because of the rain, so it's no large worry.

Brioche is one of our favorite restaurants. And we visit at least twice per year and they never disappoint. They have amazing breakfast, lunch, and dinner and the pastries are yummy. This visit we brought family and Burak and Seyitali were very hospitable. My family was impressed and insisted we eat there before we travel back home. See you all next visit.

French toast, potatoes drenched in French mozzarella, side of fresh assortment of fruits

Brioche was on my itinerary for places to go while staying in Vancouver for my fiancés birthday. Went for a lovely walk from the Douglas hotel where we were staying to have brunch here. Great food, nice and cozy authentic Italian eatery. Great service and location. Would dine here if ever in Vancouver and would definitely recommend!

Crab and avocado Benny

Came here at first on a stop for the Gaslamp Food Tour - we had this amazing ravioli with meat sauce on the food tour. Damn, that was so good. I highly recommend their fresh pastas and sauce!!! We were told they have great brunch too so came back the next day and got their French Toast and their Crab Benny. The thing that stood out the most out of those two meals was the Focaccia bread - I can eat 10 loaves of that. It was baked so well and it had butter and a little garlic too - mmmmmmmm so good. Crab Benny was yummy but I think the crab got lost a little under the Hollandaise. I would recommend changing the protein to be one of the other options. The eggs and sauce were all perfectly cooked though. The side of home potatoes were really really good!!! (They don't have ketchup in the store FYI). But they were good without it. So: get their homemade pasta and sauce and get anything with focaccia bread. Oh, I didn't really care for their almond croissant though.

This beautiful small red brick cafe in gastown has charming ambience and wonderful staff. They make you feel like home and no matter you are going at what time of the day, you will love it. Their portion sizes are worth the price. The food here feels like home cooked meal. Veg Panini is a must try with a mimosa.

Upon the recommendation of the concierge at our hotel, upon arrival to Vancouver, we walked to Brioche Ristorante & Catering in a steady rain. Thankfully we arrived just as a lunch rush was slowing and although we started at a counter on stools, we were able to transition to a standard-height table. The French Toast: Sweet & Simple with maple syrup and a ramekin of fruit was delicious--the maple syrup comes already poured on. I would've liked a little more, but overall the sweetness was well balanced with the proportion of bread. I also appreciated that the fruit was not what is usually served in a "side of fruit" in the United States--it seemed more fresh and varied. The Eggs Benedict also received rave reviews. Had to take some pictures of the pastry offerings in the case, as the artistry was out of the ordinary. Overall, good service, great food: highly recommend.

Cute lil date spot! My review is only wine and dessert as we came here after my husband's bday…read moredinner for a nightcap. We both ordered red wines to start which we both enjoyed. Good wine list! Hubby switched to a negroni that he liked and I had more wine but this time late night happy hour had started which was a nice treat! We ordered the Dolce de leche dessert and the kitchen was lovely and gave us both desserts on the menu as a bday treat. The rice dessert was incredible - it was like sticky toffee pudding but with a rice base. The caramel sauce was killer! It blew the dolce dessert outta the water. The service was also kind and attentive! The music choices were odd for our night, I love vinyl and collect it myself but just wasn't feeling the vibes that evening, it was a lot of house style music and the same beat over and over with no lyrics. Some folks loved it tho and had asked to move closer to the speaker so to each is own. The tables are also really close to your neighbor so you catch quite abit of convo around you and it's a touch distracting especially when it starts to get little loud as the room is small. It was fun to people watch though.

Ordering style was interesting, after we ordered our small plates we were ready to select our main courses but the staff just took our menu away and we had to ask another server to put in our main entrees. I understand they were busy so they may have assumed we were done ordering but it was a bit of an off putting experience. Overall food was good, the bread was divine. The highlight item for us was the tuna tar tar with chinese donuts, the chili crips totally brought the dish together. Everything else was pretty good, but wasn't amazing as I hoped. The citrus notes in the canton noodles threw me off and the chicken liver mochi balls felt more like a dessert dish than an appetizer for some reason. Highlight was having the DJ also be one of the servers!! Love the vibes that Bar gobo had, definitely a good date spot. Will have to come try it out again next season.

I got the mocktail Spicy Daisy $14 and B got the Mermaid Purse $19. The Spicy Daisy was very delicious and had a nice kick of ginger flavor. B said his Mermaid purse was good but not worth $19 good. It tasted like a regular cocktail. For food I ordered the beef tartare $22 to share with B. The beef tartare was delicious. What B and I liked the most was the chips that went with the beef tartare. The chips tasted like it was made in-house. The portion size of the beef tartare was pretty good. For entrée, I got the seared trout $34 and B got the Bavette (6oz) $52. The seared trout came with greens and the greens were amazing. The greens had more flavor than the trout. The seared trout itself was not. The Bavette was amazing. The sauce was very very delicious. The wagyu was cooked to perfection. It came with fries and the fries were very tasty. Out of all the items, I say the Bavette was a must try item. B then finished it off with the Beach Radler $8. The beer here are average price of anywhere else. Because my friend and I are celebrating our birthday here, we each got a Rhubarb Tart. I really enjoyed the tart. It wasn't anything special but it was definitely a nice treat. The entire bill for Brandon and I came to $160 before tips. The food was amazing here. I highly recommend trying. The atmosphere was gorgeous and cozy. The place is very small and getting a reservation was not easy. The place was super packed when we arrived at 6:30 pm. I do know the restaurant opens quite late and I am guessing the later you arrive the higher the chance of getting a table for the day. If you want to come here for dinner than a reservation is required. Also you do have to put down a deposit for the reservation online.

Since this wine bar is attached to the restaurant Provence, I've often passed here and heard live jazz musicians and singers who perform certain nights of the week, and man, they sound GOOD. It just always felt like this would be a super place to mellow out, have a glass of good wine, relax with friends, either on a summer day or at night, any season. I finally got to check it out in person today. I went with a friend for a drink mid-day, sitting outside. The weather was lovely, and it was a perfect day. Carmen was our server and she was great. I appreciated how knowledgable she was regarding all the wine and cocktail selections. My friend had a glass of white wine which she loved, and I had an amazing cocktail with lavender and rose.
