Happy with the service and the good has always been very good in all their restaurants we have been to!!!

We hired Briquette's to cater a meal for twenty-five people, for a business dinner to our location. Everything was perfect. Bryan was so easy to work with, and made ordering for 25 a breeze. There was plenty of food. In fact, we were able to share our extra food with a local ministry, who was so grateful for the donation. The meal was delicious, delivered hot and in a timely manner. This location is nice. The inside of the restaurant is decorated nicely, It's clean and inviting. I definitely prefer this location over their Montlimar location (that one definitely needs some work). Our server was super sweet and was on top of everything. We were served hot buttery yeast rolls which I devoured. For my entrée I had the Fillet Mignon with asparagus and a side salad. I ate every bite of everything. The steak was tender and flavorful but not the best I've ever had. The asparagus was maybe a little small and over chard but still good (I probably wouldn't get that next time). Overall, I was pleased with my meal. In my opinion,, The prices were a little high for lunch and the portions were a little small but the service was good and I did eat every bite of my food. read more

The service is outstanding, recently we had a horrible house fire and one of the hostess found out and told a manager , when we got there he said we are paying for your meals today ! The crunchy casserole topping part of the Mac n cheese was particularly delicious, but sadly, the yummy topping part was only on one bite (mostly the dish was just basic pasta, and not very hot). We had a hankering for steak so we made the drive to Briquettes after reading the good reviews on Yelp. It seemed sort of strange to see this place in a strip mall since I'd read it was locally owned and not a chain. The next thing I noticed was the line out of the door. We almost left but decided to stay and wait out the 45 minute wait. Do you know how some places automatically tell you the wait is going to be longer than it actually turns out to be? Not so with this joint. It was a 45 minute (if not longer) wait for sure. I was able to enjoy two Bloody Mary's and the Rotisserie Chicken Nachos while waiting at the bar and they were pretty darn good. I ordered a ribeye with onion rings at the table and though the flavor was awesome, it seemed to be over cooked on the outside. There was too much of it charred instead of being tender. I'd probably return, but I might think twice about ordering a steak at Briquettes. read more

Best steaks in town...hands down! I've patroned Briquettes on many occasions, tried all their cuts of steak, sides and salads. Always has been an enjoyable experience. I will mention that this is my go-to spot when I'm craving Pittsburgh-Style. In fact, on my last visit I had the bone-in ribeye Pittsburgh-rare and they nailed it! I just realized that I had not written a review for Briquettes since the COVID-19 pandemic started. In my experiences, they have followed all state and local health guidelines very well. At the beginning of the pandemic, they set up an amazing drive through. Now when I get pickup food, everyone is wearing masks and social distancing as much as possible.
