One thing I really appreciate is that the staff actually remembers my preferences every time I come in. That kind of personal service makes such a difference and really keeps me coming back. The 16-Piece Sashimi is definitely my favorite. The fish is always super fresh, and the portions are surprisingly generous. With how expensive everything has gotten in the Bay Area, I really appreciate finding a place where you still feel like you're getting good quality and a good amount of food for what you're paying. That's honestly one of the biggest reasons I've stayed loyal to this restaurant. My second favorite is the Oh Fish Roll. The combination of fresh fish and those crispy tempura bits is SO good. You get the freshness of the fish along with that crunchy texture, and somehow it all just works perfectly together. I've been to plenty of sushi restaurants, but this is one of those places where I genuinely look forward to coming back. The food is consistently good, the portions are generous, and the staff makes you feel remembered rather than just being another customer. Definitely one of my go-to spots in the Bay Area. If you haven't tried it yet, I'd absolutely recommend giving it a shot -- especially the 16-piece sashimi and the Oh Fish Roll. I'll definitely be back!

The scallop sushi rice fell apart - you couldn't pick it up at all. Like this is a bad sign when a sushi place can't make decent sushi rice. The beef in the beef udon was a little weird, like they tenderized it and they overdid it. The tempura was fine. The service was just as rude as a Chinese restaurant... I expect better service at a Japanese place. Won't be back. Honestly I think some of these yelp reviews are not authentic. Or written by people who've never had good sushi. I should have suspected something when we went in on a Sunday lunch and everywhere else was packed but here.

They sell everything from samosas to curries to chutneys. You can find them at Nugget Market, United Market, and some other big grocery chains (in the Asian food section). For just $4 you can get their Tikka Masala, their Korma, and Vindaloo sauces to prepare at home. My favorite is the Tikka Masala curry. All you need is a pound of chicken or protein of your choice (cut up into little pieces), a cup of water, and a 1/2 cup of whipping cream. Throw it all into a sauce pan and let it simmer. And in 15 minutes, you'll have a spicy meal for 4 - 5 people. It's really that simple. Serve it with some basmati rice (which you can buy for cheap in the store), and maybe a little garlic naan (which you can heat up in the oven), and you're all set. The flavors and aroma are exactly the same as you'd find at your favorite Indian place. Believe me, you'll be licking your plate clean, and all your friends will think you made this dish from scratch. And best of all, there's very little clean-up since you're cooking everything in one pan. I see that Sukhi also sells frozen version of their dishes that you can microwave at home, but I think their home chef collection of sauces are the better way to go. This ain't no TV dinner; this is a legit Indian meal made with a terrific (and gluten-free) curry paste and chicken. FYI, if you decide to go with the samosas (which you can find in your store's frozen foods section), I would recommend cooking them in the oven instead of microwave it for maximum crunch/flavor. And if you're on the hunt for a quick lunch, I'd stock up on their frozen Indian burritos (my favorite is their Chicken Tikka Masala). They only cost about $3.50 and they only take a few minutes to nuke. It's a satisfying lunch or dinner, and a spicy alternative to your regular frozen burrito. As you can tell, I'm a huge sucker for Sukhi. If you like spice and all things nice, make sure to add their curries and burritos to your shopping list.

Order the ube cheesecake, butter toffee cookie, and a assam milk tea with boba. The order came out quickly. Ube Japanese cheesecake is tasty, not too much ube taste. It is super light and moist, love how it is not too sweet. For the assam milk tea, I prefer it with more tea flavor. The drink was ok, the matcha drinks look better. The butter toffee cookie was the best, it was flavorful, the toffee has added toasted nutty flavor with some sugar. I would get a box full. Overall, has a great variety of baked goods.

A minimum order of $10 is required for curbside pick up at Eon Coffee on Saturday, but you need to order by 7pm the day before. I decided to order a variety of mochis and most of them were $2.25 each. I received an email confirmation right after I placed my order and another email from Yukiko with specific instructions, which I thought was helpful. I arrived at Eon Coffee a little after noon, and Yukiko was already waiting inside her car with a sign in her trunk. I told her my name and she gave me the bag with my order. The entire transaction was very seamless. She gave the box a nice touch by adding a sticker of the business. The mochis were extremely soft and wasn't too sweet. My favorite was definitely the mochi with peanut butter filling. I also enjoyed the fresh mango & red bean mochi. I'm glad that there is a mochi business in Hayward that I can order from for myself/someone else. I love supporting small businesses and hope they will be around for years to come!

EVERYBODY loved it. My favorite hands down was the chocolate covered date. You HAVE to get that one. I only got a single, but I wish I got like five. You can also pick and choose and they provide you a little baggie to put them all in. They also sell turkish delight which he cuts for you by hand. I really enjoyed the pomegranate one as a nut-allergy girlie. The rose water was a little too rose-y for me. Too floral, it tasted like the smell of a grandma with her potpourri. Well, how about the fact that Fabrique Délices (a U.S. subsidiary of SAPAR) is based in the East Bay and uses local producers, like Niman Ranch, for many of its offerings? And they sell their wares at a wide variety of farmers' markets in the region? When you put this all together, it makes FD an outstanding source of delicious meat products sure to amp up the flavor in your life and bring out your inner carnivore. After passing by their stand at the San Mateo farmers' market for many months, we were finally lured into trying Fabrique Délices at the Saturday market in Half Moon Bay. Maybe it was the sunny skies and cool breezes, maybe it was the friendly salesperson, maybe it was the light crowds that morning. Whatever the reason, we stopped and sampled. Superb! There was so much to choose, but we settled on a French dry salami (saucisson sec, $11) bursting with rich tastes of pork, fresh garlic, cracked pepper, and sea salt. Sliced thin and served as an antipasto platter with even more cracked pepper and some cornichons, it is out of this world. It makes a great weekend lunch or light evening meal with fresh radishes, tomatoes, cucumbers, mixed greens, and a glass of wine or beer. My first encounter with FD will definitely not be the last, as their catalog of offerings is simply too good to pass up. Next on my "wish list": their smoked duck breast, the chorizo d'España, the Rosette de Lyon, and their Merguez lamb + beef sausages. I am also tempted by their natural pâtés and the sausages made with game (rabbit, wild boar, venison). All in moderation, and all in due time. If you eat meat sparingly, as I do, you want these indulgences to be memorable. The French chacuterie tradition practiced by FD may well be your ticket to bliss.
