This restaurant is located inside the Hilton. We were staying at the hotel and decided to get pizza after a long day. I'm from Chicago, and so I didn't get my hopes up, but I was pleasantly surprised when our pizza (pepperoni, onions, and peppers) came and I took my first bite. This thin crust pizza had an ok crust, but the toppings wanted to slide off. Once you get past that, it did have a generous amount of cheese and the toppings were fresh and tasty. Our waiter was excellent. This is definitely worth a try if you want to stay in and grab a bite to eat.

We stopped by for a late dinner and for breakfast. Both times it was a bit of a wait time since it was on the busier side. Everyone was extremely friendly and attentive. The lobby music was a bit loud but it was perfect since everyone was being loud especially at dinner time. We were pleasantly surprised by the food and the portions. Everything we got was perfect to share and still have left overs.

When you are making a quick trip, hotels with a restaurant are ideal so you don't have to drive around. We were only staying the night and weren't sure where to have dinner. For ease, we thought we'd check out the restaurant. When we walked down, they stated that the seats were first come, first serve and we took a seat. We were immediately assisted and our waters arrived. For an appetizer we had chips with Queso + Spinach Artichoke Dip and it was AMAZING. This was my favorite part of the meal and I kept returning back to it. For the meal, I enjoyed the Margherita Flatbread and it was delicious. They have a brick oven there that this was made in. My boyfriend enjoyed a Salmon (it was being eaten when I remembered pictures) but the size of the salmon was a nice large piece compared to normal. Even the potatoes that came with he said were good. I ended up going down for breakfast Saturday morning and had a 2 egg omelette with cheese and tomatoes and an English muffin. They are much busier in the mornings but it was delicious. This restaurant is awesome and was definitely better than anticipated.

Plenty of places to sit and music was low key peaceful.

Staff was super helpful and took my order quick. Got here after a long flight and was starving. Found a good spot to sit and not be noticed. Food was delicious. Brown gravy on the steak was interesting, but had great flavor. Only thing I was not a fan of was the onion on top of the steak. May have been soaked in vinegar or so thing. Was super strong. Great food in a quiet environment. I will eat here again. Thanks.

We all knew we were going to order cocktails, and he went to each of us individually and asked us to describe what we wanted ie. vodka, gin, tequila, strong, fruity etc. and had the bartender craft our cocktails according to our key descriptions. That was fun! For food, I ordered the Watermelon Feta Salad with chicken 10/10! I would order that again. Aside from the drinks, food and excellent service, the atmosphere is super modern and cute. I loved the décor. I am overall happy that Mag picked this place for her birthday lunch. Thank you, Brandon for the excellent service! Would come back again!

While our favorite one was the beef slider for the classic burger vibe we were both very surprised by how crispy, meaty, yet easy to chew the pork belly slider was. The sauce and veggies kept the pork slider from being too heavy. As for the chicken slider we really liked the fry on it and how juicy it was but felt that it was too salty. - Sea Bass Crudo (5/5): Quite possibly one of the best crudos I have ever had and my favorite dish of the night. The sea bass was super meaty and fresh and the sauce gave it a very unique twist. Normally we only have refreshing light crudos but this one was a lot oilier and heavier with the chili crisp and serrano peppers. My gf found the dish too spicy but it was just right for me. - Spicy Tuna Tartare (4/5): Super refreshing and loved the chip pairing. I would have personally preferred more tuna and less avocado but I was still pretty happy with it. - Rye Punch (5/5) - Strawberry Yuzu Butter Cake (4.5/5): We were shocked by how big this dessert was especially since we were already pretty full - it looked like a challenge to finish even though we were sharing it. Really loved the light flavors and the fact that it wasn't too sweet for us. Only thing that could be better is that we couldn't really taste the yuzu. Overall (5/5): Very happy that we decided to check out the seasonal menu at Solstice! Service was great and restaurant was pretty quiet since we were there early. I personally love the decor of the place too. Given the quality and care put to each dish served we hope to be back soon!

Because the hotel is just off…read morethe road from John Wayne Airport, many flight crews stay here, and the morning rush for the buffet or à la carte breakfast can get busy. Surprisingly, though, the restaurant is almost empty on weekends. Most guests seem to opt for room service instead of dining downstairs--such a shame! The restaurant is beautiful, and I had great experiences with a couple of the servers during different meals. The lunch and dinner menus are somewhat limited--in fact, identical--so if you stay more than a night or two, you may run out of new options to try. That said, the chef (as I was told) has over 30 years of cooking experience, and it really shows. The food quality and preparation were excellent. I ordered a steak with a glass of wine, and everything was perfectly executed. Given how few guests dine in the restaurant, my party enjoyed a quiet, private meal every time--almost like having the entire space to ourselves. If you're looking for an intimate, low-crowd dining experience or a quiet date night spot, I'd highly recommend WAVE as a top option in Newport Beach.

I did not pay for the entree, but still paid for a side and beverage and left a tip. I started to order DoorDash food and was told there was no eating in the lobby as some kids left a lobby table a mess. Proper hospitality would just clean the mess from the other people and ensure your business travelers can be comfortable and go your merry way. Instead a blanket policy is alienating customers. Bad service from the restaurant and front of house staff.

It makes everything feel casual and convenient. I forgot the name of the bagel we ordered, but it was the lox bagel with all the toppings. I really enjoyed the overall flavor and the combination of toppings, but the bagel itself was a little too hard for my personal taste. It was quite chewy and difficult to bite through. The salmon also had a slightly fishy taste, although the cream cheese was excellent and tied everything together nicely. I'd definitely come back to try one of their regular bagels since I liked the vibe of the restaurant. I think something simple, like a bagel with cream cheese and egg, might be better.

However, what is amazing is the food quality which definitely is attention grabbing. I've had many breakfasts and evening dishes (salmon or salads).that were surprisingly good because usually hotel expectations are lower than average. Today I tried their Loco Moco for the first time and it compelled me to finally write a review because it was so good. The patties are thin yet flavorful - the over easy eggs prepared runny just like I ordered and the rice is soft and warm. The homemade gravy is the best part because it brings everything together. Not too thick, not too watery. This was definitely a dish that I wolfed down like there was no tomorrow. I'll be back and will be circling Loco Moco on the menu as a go-to breakfast dish. That's all

It took a minute to locate the restaurant and figure out parking, but once we arrived at the door, the experience was first-class from beginning to end. The hostess was charming and welcoming, the staff kept our waters filled and the table spotless, and our server, Juan, was outstanding. His knowledge of the menu, detailed descriptions, and personal recommendations made ordering easy and built our anticipation for every dish. We started by sharing the beet salad and Chicken Tinga Empanadas with the Gringo Killer Sauce. The beet salad was fresh and beautifully balanced, while the empanadas were packed with rich, savory flavor. The Gringo Killer Sauce added a bold kick that made them especially memorable. My wife ordered the wedge salad, my daughter chose the Grilled Octopus Al Pastor, and I had the 8 oz Picanha special. Every dish was exceptional. The octopus was a creative and flavorful take on al pastor, and the Picanha special was perfectly cooked, tender and was an absolute standout. Everything was so impressive that I sent my compliments to the chef and was fortunate enough to meet Chef Jackie personally. Then came dessert. Juan described a peach cobbler special that immediately had my mouth watering, while my daughter ordered the Espresso Crème Brûlée. Juan returned to our table with three plates and spoons and informed me that Chef Jackie has recommended her specialty. I did not argue, Chef knows best. She surprised me by sending out something different: a slice of Baklava Cheesecake accompanied by a scoop of house-made peach cobbler ice cream. Now, I have eaten some outstanding cheesecakes all around the world, but this Baklava Cheesecake was on an entirely different level. It was rich, layered, perfectly textured and flaky, and so unbelievably delicious that I nearly licked the plate clean. The house-made peach cobbler ice cream was equally impressive--light and creamy, yet captured the full peach cobbler flavor. The Espresso Crème Brûlée was also beautifully executed, with a crisp caramelized sugar shell and a deep, smooth coffee-flavored custard. My daughter ate half of hers before turning her attention to the cheesecake, and she does not even like cheesecake. That alone should tell you how special it was. I live three hours away, but I will absolutely be making the drive back. Lemon & Thyme delivers exceptional food, thoughtful hospitality, creative dishes, and the kind of personal service that turns a meal into a lasting memory. This is my new favorite restaurant!!! Do yourself a favor and make the trip to Lemon & Thyme. Ask for Juan, trust Chef Jackie, and do not leave without desert.
