My experience at Brite Dental Spa has the been the best dental visit I've ever had. I've always had a fear of going to the dentist, based on previous negative experiences I've had as a child and a young adult. However, I had this pretty bad pain on the right side of my mouth and wanted to get it checked out and also get a cleaning since it's relatively close to my job. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere of the office is very calming and tranquil. For people like me who are scared of the dentist, this was able to help relax my anxiety and nerves. I saw the dental hygienist at my scheduled appointment time. I forgot her name, but she was just absolutely amazing. Before she started the cleaning, she gave me a rundown of what she was going to do during and after the cleaning. She was also really easy to talk to and answered the many questions I had about my teeth. Once I was finished with the cleaning and seeing the dentist, I was escorted to the front reception area where GG assisted me with all of my questions about my insurance, etc. The one thing I really love about this place is that they are thorough and explain every detail to you. This is especially important for me because I have slim to none knowledge about how I should care for my teeth, and am pretty clueless when it comes to what I need to pay out of pocket. Absolutely the most amazing experience with a dentist . I have to start with saying that I am scared of dental work and injections but Dr. G at brute dental is so amazing . She is so caring and has a great touch . I have been suffering from TMJ dislocation for many years but she was the first dentist that told me the reason for it and fixed it . As for them being on time, I've gone to destiny before where they make you sit for 30 mins to an hour to be seen but here I was on the chair a minute after I checked in with the front desk. After switching dental practices a few years back and over a year (Covid) since my last cleaning I was happy (and much over do) to return to Brite Dental; and Dr Garemani did my cleaning herself. Never any judgement and so kind and caring of well-being the entire time. The staff are welcoming, helpful and assisted me and my husband navigate through our insurance and got us in a day early and together. I've been going to Dr.Garemani for over 6 years now. I came in needing some serious work after an accident. I had to have implants, bone graphing, crowns, and aesthetic work, in addition to getting my wisdom teeth taken out. I was dreading this whole experience. I had been through some rough dental experiences in the past and what I can only call too many braces. I did not want to have to go through major dental work again. Dr. Garemani helped me through the whole process. She introduced me to specialities where needed, kept a special eye on my case, worked with me on scheduling, payments, etc. and made sure my smile was restored. The whole recovery process was very long, sometimes with several months of waiting time between big procedures. During that time Dr. Garemani still had me coming in for routine visits and was always preparing for the next step. The office definitely feels more like spa. The music is always good. It's clean and friendly. Sometimes you can be greeted by her pup! Overall, it has been a great experience and I am confident with my smile again! read more

SCAM ALERT: STAY AWAYYYYY!!! Beware: Brite Dental will write comments to discredit my review just like what they did with other bad reviews but I have evidence on what I'm going to say here. I was so busy lately and would have forgotten to write a review if they didn't keep sending me an additional charge with absolutely NO hint on what the charge is for (image 1) given that my last visit was almost a year ago and I never cancelled an appointment (don't pull that cancel fee trick!). I asked them via email and phone calls and got no explanation. I already paid for everything stated in the receipt (after confirmation from my insurance) of my last visit and have no clue what else is left! My experience at Brite Dental was horrible - where to start!? They tried to SCAM me anyhow they could after learning that I didn't visit a dentist for quite a while and had some cavities. They suggested that I get porcelain crowns on two molar teeth (#2 and #4) and use temporary/provisional crowns (provided by Brite Dental) on these teeth while waiting for the real ones to be done. A quick google search would show you what temporary crowns look like -- they are made from cheap materials but look no different from porcelain crowns. Here comes Brite Dental's trick: They just filled my teeth with some unknown material (that would have costed only $20-50 after insurance) and charged me for temporary crowns ($200 each - image 2+3)! I went to another dentist to confirm and got the same answer: I only got tooth fillings, not to mention that Dr. Garemani was careless enough to leave a hole on one of the fillings and make the teeth stick together so I couldn't floss them at all (image 2+4) - just look at the pics yourself! After I asked for a full refund they insisted that I had got a provisional filling material called Luxatemp before getting actual provisional crowns in the next visit, accidentally admitting that they previously tricked me into thinking I got provisional crowns (image 5). If they really wanted to give me provisional crowns in the next visit, why would they charge these before that visit and not tell me anything until I pointed out? Later they made a partial refund but added new charges on stuff not listed in my appointment receipt to make sure I couldn't get all my money back and never acknowledged any wrongdoings. Apart from the obvious scam above, they did a poor job examining/cleaning my mouth and still tried to rip me off for this. On the day of my last visit, I had a bad tooth abscess that's swollen right between my two upper front teeth. Dr. Garemani completely ignored it when giving me a deep cleaning (upper quarters) and after I specifically asked about the abscess through an assistant, she just said I might need root canal on the front teeth without taking a proper look. It's swollen so bad that I had to seek treatment from another dental office but completely gone after a good deep cleaning there. My new dentist said I had a lot of calculus left when I arrived, which kept me thinking what kind of "periodontal evaluation" and "deep cleaning" Brite Dental actually gave me just days ago. When I asked for a record/report on my comprehensive oral evaluation and periodontal evaluation (charged separately), they couldn't provide any. In all the years of dental appointments I've had, Dr. Garemani's was painless. I had fillings done and in the past, I've always had shooting pains with previous dentists. The work she did was so gentle. She and her assistant kept checking to make sure there wasn't any discomfort. Don't be fooled by the aesthetics of this office. The dentist is a scammer and just wants your $. I went in for a cleaning and the hygienist wouldn't stop talking to me about her life, complaining, and whining about the bad turns her life had taken. THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME MEETING HER BTW! and I had to endure her sad life story during my cleaning. When Dr. Garemani came in to see me, the first thing she told me was that I should consider having BOTOX done by her, to soften my jaw line! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Is this what a PROFESSIONAL dentist does? I don't think so. I then went in for a filling, and Dr. Garemani did a terrible job. It's been two months since then and I'm in discomfort because of her. I scheduled an appt to fill in my other two cavities but since I work in media and it's a very fast paced and demanding job, where changes happen almost always, I had to cancel last minute because of an important work meeting. I called and left a message early in the morning explaining to them that unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to make my appt and that I'd need to reschedule. They never called me back to confirm receipt of my message or to reschedule me. Instead, they charged me $100 for canceling - which I saw on my AMEX statement. When I called the office to ask them if they could please waive this fee due to the circumstances of my job, they were not accommodating at all since "Dr. Garemani has to charge a fee for the time she lost" THEY ARE RIDICULOUS AND UNSYMPATHETIC IN EVERY WAY -- STAY AWAY FROM THIS WANNABE HOLLYWOOD DENTISTRY. read more

I went to see Dr. Garemani for my TMJ (I've been trying to find a TMJ treatment plan that actually works for me). Dr. Garemani listened to all of my symptoms, educated me on TMJ, and gave thoughtful treatment recs. We decided that Botox would be a great option for me! I started my Botox treatment the same day as my initial consultation. Every time I go in for follow ups I feel so comfortable and cared for. Dr Garemani and Giselle have always been so wonderful to me, and are always such a delight. Today I went in for my annual exam, and a cleaning. I would not recommend Brite Dental Spa. While the staff and dentist I saw (Dr. France) were all very kind and patient with my dental anxiety, I felt that the staff was disorganized/inexperienced and that the dentist was unable to give me a confident/thorough diagnosis. Most importantly, after getting a second and third opinion, I feel like they recommended care that was unnecessary for their financial benefit. I was told to see a dentist after going to Urgent Care for facial swelling and jaw pain. I was able to make an appointment with Brite Dental Spa on Zocdoc for 10:30am the next day, and then later changed my appointment through the app to 12:40 after realizing I would have a conflict with work. I also called the office in the morning to confirm the time change. Still, at 10:35am, they called me to ask why I wasn't at my appointment. During this call, they asked if I could come in at noon instead of 12:40, which I agreed to. While I was in the waiting room for my appointment, they called again to ask where I was, even though I was sitting in the waiting room and had just checked in for my appointment. And when they escorted me back for my appointment, I realized I wasn't going to see the doctor I was scheduled to see on Zocodc. They had assigned me a different dentist. In the chair, multiple assistants struggled to get accurate x-rays of my teeth. To be fair, I have bad dental anxiety and sometimes I involuntarily push on the x-rays with my tongue, but I have never had so much difficulty with x-rays. After finally getting the X-rays, Dr. France said my left second molar had a "big cavity" and possible infection. She said she needed a better view of my back molar and asked to take a 3D panoramic of my teeth that would cost over $400. I agreed to this, and they took the scan. Dr. France pointed to a place on my scans that could be indicative of an infection, but she could not give clear answers to my questions and could not offer an explanation about the cause of the infection. She just told me I needed a root canal consultation with their specialty endodontist (another $200) who would only be there July 11th out of the entire month of July. In the meantime, she recommended 13 teeth for fillings. This raised an eyebrow for me, so I asked for a copy of my scans to get a second opinion from my hometown dentist who had seen me a year ago and only recommended 2 fillings. Brite informed me that they could email my x-rays, but that the 3D scan was too large a file to email and could only be uploaded to a physical disk that I could take with me at the end of my appointment. It wasn't ready at the end of my appointment, so they said I could come back at 3. It wasn't ready at 3 either. Finally (after going back and forth to the office 3 times), I was able to get a copy of my scans on a CD. My treatment plan was also never uploaded to my patient portal, so I could not access a summary of my treatment plan for my own use or for another doctor's. On top of all this, Brite's payment software prompts you to tip when you pay at the end of your appointment. I have NEVER been prompted to tip for dental services before until my appointment with Brite. I was able to get a next-day appointment with a different endodontist this morning and brought my x-rays and the CD scan with me. The endodonist was confused because my physical presentation and x-rays did not match the 3D scans. Turns out they uploaded THE WRONG PATIENT'S scans to the CD, somebody who had wisdom teeth, a previous root canal, and needed 2 tooth extractions. (I have never had a root canal, and my wisdom teeth were removed years ago) Brite charged me $400 for a scan only to give me someone else's scan. The endodontist redid my x-rays (which his assistant was able to get 1st try without issue), and confirmed that, despite a small amount of decalcification on my molars, they are perfectly healthy teeth that don't even need a filling, let alone root canal/extraction. He also performed tap, gum, and cold sensitivity tests and confirmed there was no evidence of infection at all on these teeth. After reviewing my new x-rays from the endodontist, my hometown dentist confirmed that I only needed 4 fillings (including the 2 I still needed to get done from last year), not 13. He also confirmed that, in his opinion, there was no evidence of infection or the kind of decay that would warrant a root canal consultation. TLDR: Mixed up $400 scan with another patient's, unnecessary treatment plan, disorganized staff (except Michaela who was helpful) read more

Today was my first time going to Brite Dental Spa. Lia at the front desk was very welcoming and even though there was a slight issue with my insurance company, Lia remained polite and was very helpful to alleviate the issue. The dental hygienist was very gentle and throughly explain everything she was doing and why. Then Dr. Behnaz Garemani came into to do the exam, she explained exactly what the next steps in my dental procedures will be and answered every question I had. I am writing this review as I am waiting in the fabulous waiting area on my husband. Let me tell you hunny this dental office is amazing from the time you walk in till the very end. Getting here was quite easy since we live nearby however its easily accessible by the C,E trains to 50th street stop and walking a few blocks. There is also a parking garage directly opposite for those who prefer to drive in. Pretty convenient right? Making an appointment was easy and they were very accommodating. Both my husband and I were cocvered by insurance and we had no issues what so ever. Ameera is such a ray of sunshine when you walk in so professional yet friendly ( signs of great things ahead). Also hygiene is everything here, Ameera wiped the counters while I was waiting which says a lot!! And of course everything looks sleek and clean! You have a few short forms to fill out like any other office so I recommend getting there at least 5 minutes early before your first visit. You are then seated in their "fabulous waiting area"...... Yes I know I said it before.... until another cheerful person calls you to the back. I had Brooke who was such a sweetheart, listened to my concerns and addressed each one. Their assistant Areli is just adorable. She took my X-rays and although they were a bit uncomfortable ( all dental x rays are) she was quick and made the process an ease. They recommended a procedure that I did take that was not covered by insurance for $80.00 but I was informed of this beforehand and I didn't feel pressured like you sometimes are in places. Brooke did an amazing and thorough job with my cleaning. Dr. Garemani is indeed such a pleasant person and I am scheduled to meet again with her next week to perfect my smile. I thoroughly enjoyed my dental appointment. Like who says that? But it was indeed a pleasant experience and I have now found my family's dentist!!!! I went to Brite Dental Spa for my annual cleaning/exam and I am super happy with my overall experince. The office is very nice and makes you feel that you are not in a Dentist. I changed my Dentist because my previous dentist told me to get all my wisdom teeth extracted two times and that felt a little pushy so I wanted to get a second opinion and I am glad I did. The cleaning was very smooth. The hygenist (don't remember the name sorry:) ) has the lightest hand I've ever experienced at a Dentist. She was very thorough. Dr.Garemani was very open and very friendly. She came up with a treatment plan for me. She showed me where the cavities are with a mirror and explained everything very clearly. She also said that I shouldn't get all my wisdom teeth extracted now, only one needs extraction and again she explained and showed why. She told me I can schedule the extraction whenever I feel like which was very nice of her. The ladies at the front desk was very friendly, kind and very clear about my copays and out of pocket costs. They even printed out a treatment plan report which shows the tooth image, where are the problem areas, which treatments should be done and the out of pocket costs to the patient. I have never seen such a thing, of course they are estimates but really good to see how much everything is going to cost approximately. I am very very very picky about and scared of dentists but Dr.Garemani listened kindly and made me feel calm about the process. I recommend them to everyone! I still adore Dr. Garemani-- she's warm, reassuring, and most gentle dentist I've ever visited. Her hygienist AJ was the same, and he gave me lots of wonderful dental advice. The whole staff is very welcoming; it's clear Dr. Garemani works hard to make going to the dentist an enjoyable experience. Billing, on the other hand, was a small disaster. This probably won't be a problem if your insurance is simple. But Giselle didn't seem to want to work with mine, so I'm not sure why Brite Dental Spa says they accept it. Giselle presented me with a $700 bill I knew was higher than what I owed with insurance. I told her this, since it was only one filling, and I'd had multiple fillings at another practice and not been charged nearly that much. Giselle shrugged and said "this bill is what insurance won't cover." After I reached out to my dental insurance, I learned they require the provider to bill my medical insurance before they'll pay any charges. Billing medical is against the policy of Brite Dental Spa, as Giselle then told me many times AFTER I'd been assured by Brite Dental Spa's receptionist that they accept my dental insurance (and after I'd had a cleaning and filling done by them). If Brite Dental Spa doesn't want to bill my medical insurance, that's their prerogative as a business. In that case, they might consider excluding my dental insurance from their list of accepted coverages. It's almost like being out-of-network, if they aren't going to bill the way the dental insurance requires. Or, Giselle could just tell me upfront that I'm going to have to bill medical on my own instead of presenting me with a bill double what I owe and saying she'd done her job. Dr. Garemani and her hygienists are so lovely, I would consider it worth submitting my own medical claims to keep seeing her. I mean, truly, how often do you find a dentist with such a calming effect? But I won't be coming back because having a conversation with Giselle is like talking to a brick wall. Giselle is friendly and clearly wants to do her job well, but she constantly interrupts me to anticipate (incorrectly) my questions and preemptively defend herself against billing practices I'm just trying to get a clear understanding of. One time I hand-delivered her a form I needed the doctor's signature on to submit to medical. Giselle volunteered to fax it, and said she'd scan the original to me, but she never sent either. Then when I asked for the form back, she sent me some random form from five months earlier. She doesn't seem to listen to any question that might isolate a mistake she's made. She oscillates between telling me "sure, anything to make the process easier for you!" and telling me she's only doing me favors as a courtesy. This makes me feel like a nuisance. I just can't deal with someone in billing who doesn't listen to her customers or have a stronger sense of logic. read more

Dr Garemani is a life saver! I cannot speak more highly of this place. So I had an bike accident and could not shut my jaw because of the pain and misalign teeth. Brite Dental was able to booked me last minute next day appointment. When I got there, Dr Garemani was so gentle while examining me, considering I was still bruised and in pain from the accident. She found the issue and shaved some of my bottom teeth. I could not thank her enough! right after when I got home, the pain was subsiding quickly and I was able to close my jaw/mouth and rest/recover. Overall, I was very impressed with how gentle and considere Dr Garemani and the entire staff while I had the most pain. read more

Dr. Garemani was jovial but I was disappointed that she gave me a very cursory cleaning. It took half the time of a typical routine cleaning. She didn't make much of an effort and neglected to do a thorough job. I contacted my insurance company and tried to get a refund but it's hard to prove a she said/she said type of an situation. I had hoped the doctor would exercise good customer service and offer to either give me a refund or another cleaning that was decent. That was my first and last appointment there. I must note that her staff was very pleasant. Interestingly enough though one of them told me that I should have asked for a thorough cleaning if I wanted more than a very basic one. I thought that was the point of going to the dentist for a cleaning, for it to be more thorough than what I could accomplish at home. Terrible experience with Brite Dental Spa - came in for a routine cleaning in May 2021 and they pointed to a cavity I had my wisdom tooth. Dr. Garemani said the best course of action was to fill it which I agreed to. Shortly after the filling, I experienced excruciating pain in that tooth any time I would bite down or drink cold water. Doc told me the sensitivity should die down in a couple weeks. A few weeks later with no relief, she set up an appointment with her endodontist who recommended that I get a root canal ($1800) or get it extracted ($900/tooth) and if the latter I'd need to get both top & bottom removed - Dr. Garemani was not in the office. I decided to go back when Dr. Garemani was in the office & she recommended that instead of a root canal, she drill down again in the same tooth (painful 45min process) and fill it again. I was told to wait a couple weeks again. Now I'm sitting here 4 months later and the tooth is as painful as ever with no sign of relief other than to get it extracted which will cost me a lot of money. Horrific experience overall. I normally hate posting negative review but this was an exception. Oh & everytime I would come in to get checked up, they would file another bill... read more

A fantastic experience, I couldn't recommend Dr. Garemani and her team more highly! Having previously worked in a dental office for quite some time, I find that I am very particular about how I like these visits to go and from start to finish, my entire visit was seamless. At Brite Dental Spa, they care so deeply about the work they do and it shows! Everyone was so knowledgeable, professional, honest and kind, not to mention the office itself was beautiful and spotless!! From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed and comfortable, and it's not often that you walk into a dental office and just feel at ease upon your arrival! Further, Dr. Garemani had an excellent chair-side manner, she was attentive, compassionate and she took the time to walk me through all of my x-rays/ answer all of my questions as well. She was also very gentle and she made sure to check in on me to ask how I was feeling throughout whole the visit, which I really appreciated. Additionally, I found that she was more conservative with regards to her treatment recommendations (a true testament to her outstanding character). She only suggested treatment on the teeth that needed it the most, while keeping an eye on any others that she was a bit concerned about. Despite needing a little treatment, I left her office with the biggest smile on my face. Fantastic dentist (Dr. Garemani), incredible service and extremely welcoming environment. I've been suffering severe clenching issue when sleeping for many years now to a point that my jaw muscles would lock and the pain would wake me up causing constant headache, earache and jaw pain. After my visit at the Brite Dental Spa, I was told that I have lost 3.5 mm length of my teeth due to constant clenching while sleeping. Dr. Garemani suggested a Botox injection in masseter muscle to ease the tension and I agreed knowing at this point I'd do anything to let go of this pain. Within a few hours, the tension was completely gone and has remained the same (it's been 4 weeks). Now I can sleep in peace, no more grinding, no more clenching and my mouth is at awe of this magical procedure. I have terrible anxiety when it comes to dentists and this experience did not help! They took 18+ x-rays while the dental assistant yelled at me for having a small mouth. She then left me alone sitting in the room for 5 minutes. The doctor then marches in (without even looking in my mouth) and announces I have four cavities. I felt extremely uncomfortable like a kid getting yelled at by the principal. She didn't have one nice thing to say to me. She then looks in my mouth for 2 seconds and leaves the room. I was not comfortable here. The dental assistant did my whole cleaning in less than 5 minutes. It was not thorough or gentle but rough and uncomfortable. I am just as confused as you are reading this because she has nothing but positive reviews. read more

Highly recommend it. Dr. Eric and Dr. Behanaz among with all other doctors / hygienists have been professionally skillful and very friendly too. I have done multiple service there from filling to root canal there. Only suggestion is that usually the bill I received after the treatment is higher than what the expected cost was over the phone when I made appointments. I understand some extra medicine/service was implemented but an itemized receipt provided by admin assistants will clear the confusion and boost the satisfaction. Dr. Garemani has that special touch. She is amazing, wonderful, attentive and caring as well as the rest of her clinical staff. I've done my research prior to coming to Brite Dental Spa. Since I could remember my smile wasn't what I truly wanted, I had major insecurities and I settled after I trusted a dentist in San Diego,CA. My very first visit at Brite Dental Spa was mid-Summer 2020, even during COVID times I felt everything was sanitized, safe and clean. First had my xrays and I met with Dr. Eric , he did his first initial assessment, he listened to my concerns and was informative of what treatments to consider. Then I met the queen herself, Dr. Garemani. She also understood my concerns and guaranteed me that I will have that "smile". I had some cavities and recommended deep cleaning, but the main reason why I was there was because off my on going toothache of my two front teeth (#'s-8, 9). Dr. Eric and Dr. Garemani recommended that I also see the endodontist Dr. Kuhly for a root canal, she is also absolutely amazing. The procedure itself went very smoothly and the recovery was minimal to zero pain. I also did the whitening treatment- was quite $$ but worth it. (use sensodyne at least 1 week prior!!) I had my final appt regarding my two front teeth on 9/10 and I can't explain enough how much I love my smile! When I took that first look into the mirror I had that smile from ear to ear it took over 10 years-- to finally get where I wanted to be. I am so happy to be a patient at Brite Dental Spa, the clinical team of Dr. Garemani's office, you all are absolutely wonderful! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!. Dr. Garemani is the best in the biz. I'm a real baby when it comes to the dentist and she makes me feel comfortable and secure every step of the way. Dr. Garemani spends extra time explaining what she's doing and why she's doing it. This isn't your typical transactional dental visit.
