Let's play a game of pros and cons. Pros: the best hours of any pizza shop. Fresh hot pizza at 9 am is the best! Cons: the pizza. Before you get too upset about this review, keep in mind bad pizza is still really good food. The pizza: they make the whole cheese on top of the pizza which I think is the wrong way to do pizza unless it's Chicago style. Cheese on top doesn't make sense. The toppings don't get crispy or charred especially it's a mat topping. Then the cheese is charred which is only good in moderation. Also when the toppings are on the bottom and the pizza is hot, the cheese and topping will slide off the pizza dough! Some people might like this inverted style but not a pizza analyst like me. The pizza was fine: thin sweet tomato sauce. I prefer a more savory chunky pizza sauce. Would I go back? Yeah of course I would, I love pizza. Came in for lunch and was greeted with warm smiles and true hospitality. The ambiance of this place makes you feel right at home. It's your Italian uncles favorite pizza spot with all the history on the walls supporting local teams and showing appreciation to the kind staff. The service is friendly and the food is hot, but the pizza doesn't have enough flavor to stand up to the substantial crust. This is one of my favorite pizza spots that's low key but big flavor! I tried Jays combo and changed a couple ingredients! The crust is not exactly thin crust, but not too thick that it overtakes the flavor of the ingredients either. It's pretty well balanced. They don't smother on the red sauce either which is what I prefer. They threw in a couple cookies that were deli as well. Lots of tables inside to sit in and pretty cool decorations. Listen, food and customer service are both super important for a successful business in the restaurant industry. This is why Brizio has been around for a long time. I've ordered delivery and picked up from here numerous times and tonight's experience prompted an absolute 5 star experience.... We were busy so we decided to order delivery through DoorDash because Brizio always does a great job of getting their food done quickly and ready for delivery. We were excited when we got our pizzas but quickly realized that one of the pizzas was the completely wrong order. Instead of handling it through DoorDash, I called the store. The manager was extremely apologetic and said he would have an employee deliver the pizza to my home. Within 30 minutes, the employee arrived with 2 pizzas, saying that they didn't want to deliver a cold pizza so they REMADE our pizza and delivered both. Holy moly! That's the type of customer service that you don't find nowadays. We truly appreciate that they went far above and beyond!!! On to the food... The pizza is great! Several reviews mention Pizza Hut because of the similarity of the pan crust style. That's where the similarity ends, Brizio clearly uses high quality ingredients! The crust is always super flavorful, an excellent cheese blend and is never greasy. Even my kids loved it so much that they went through and entire pizza on their own. When we do have an issue with the delivery, they are always kind, considerate, and professional which is why we continue to order because they are trustworthy. We came to Brizio Pizza around 6:30 PM on a whim because we were really hungry! One of our party members recommended it, so we gave it a try, and oh my goodness! It was so delightful! The parlor is relatively small, but very homey. It gives locally owned vibes (if that makes sense?). There are a bunch of pictures and cute little phrases placed along the walls to add to the atmosphere. They have a little claw machine and an arcade game set up here as well. The cashier/servers were really nice, we were assisted by a staff member named AJ. He was really patient with us because we were really indecisive when we tried to order at first, but was really helpful when we were ready. We ordered 2 large pizzas and 2 orders of the garlic bread with cheese. The total came out to roughly $100, but it fed 6 people (with leftovers!) so I think it was really well priced for the quality of food that was given. Everything was so good! The pizza had great flavor and structure. I hate it when pizza slices droop so much that the toppings fall off - not the case here!
