Turkey bacon egg and cheese on everything

A quick in and out place with fire sandwiches. They have a lot of premade options but it's also really easy to order and customize what you want. My sandwich definitely hit and was one I'll think about for a bit.

Very efficient bagel spot with a very nice bacon, egg & cheese! They have a solid lineup of bagels and schmears, and they also offer breakfast classics like pancakes and orange juice, plus baked goods. You can order at the counter or at one of four kiosks, making it super easy and quick to request even a complicated order. I was surprised at how quickly my order was made. When eating a BEC, I'm looking for a nice bagel with a lot of everything topping, crispy bacon, and melty cheese, and I got all of that from this. Very satisfied! But, if that's not what you're looking for, you can easily customize your sandwich on the kiosk. I'm so glad to find such a good spot in my neighborhood!

Green onion Cream Cheese on a Bagel

Every neighborhood deserves a dependable bagel shop, and for me, Broadway Bagels plays that role beautifully. Their bagels have that perfect balance--chewy yet flavorful, hearty without tipping into dense brick territory. My go-to order is the everything bagel with green onion cream cheese, a combination that consistently earns its place as a star performer in the bagel world. Now, let's address the elephant in the room--or rather, the mountain: the cream cheese. Yes, they're generous to the point of excess. It's practically an architectural feat. I usually end up editing the portion myself, but on the bright side, it makes the bagel hearty enough to stretch into two meals. Efficiency and indulgence in one. The one drawback is the absence of indoor seating. This isn't a "linger with your laptop" type of spot. Instead, I take my bagel three blocks down to Central Park, which, truthfully, turns the whole experience into something rather idyllic. Bagel in hand, city all around, nature just ahead--hard to complain. A neighborhood classic, and one I'm grateful to have nearby.

A solid place to get bagels. The dough is good, they have a good selection of cream cheese and bagels and the prices are pretty decent. I got the scallion cream cheese on the garlic bagel and my sister got the everything bagel with egg, turkey and cheese.

Ever since absolutely bagels closed down, I've been trying to find another bagel place. Broadway bagel is now my new bagel place. My favorite is the egg everything bagel. Scallion and lox cream cheese hits, and I've also had a BEC on egg everything. Quick turnaround, friendly folks behind the counter.

Absolutely spectacular Bagel place on the UWS. We tried Modern, we tried Tal, we tried Absolute Bagels (now closed) and were happy that we found this amazing place, but sad that we did not find this sooner! Self-service options, extensive selection, quick service and most importantly - reasonably priced (Modern has good selection, but expensive and is closed on Sat. and Tal is just expensive). This will be our go-to place for bagels.

My new go-to bagel spot in the UW after Absolute closed! I have been on the hunt for a bagel shop with an egg bagel that is on-parr with Absolute's custardy, slightly sweet egg bagel. Broadway Bagel's egg bagel is a good replacement! The scallion-lox cream cheese is packed full of lox! No small lox bits here. The plain scallion cream cheese is also great! Unfortunately, they ran out of plain egg bagels when I came (Friday afternoon). So, I settled for the everything egg bagels-- still tasty. Service was very fast-- no line and convenient kiosks with ipads to order. Bo's egg bagels was a disappointment, but I would recommend Broadway Bagel's egg bagel!

Our friends had this delivered to their apt after arriving in from a long flight. My sandwich was really damn good. I also got hash browns with it and they were good. I also got a couple bagels to eat later on the day. I'm very happy with the results and can't wait to try other food in the future.

Snowy day calls for a hot bagel sandwich with egg, sausage, and cream cheese. I'm usually a BEC girl but today I wanted to mix it up! I really enjoy their sausage and you can't beat this spot for a quick bagel on the UWS. The store front itself is very clean and the counter guys are friendly!

First lemme say, WOW! The bagel size is tremendous.... Service was quick with lots of staff...Lots to choose from in spreads...fairly crowded. So you ask, "why only 4 stars?" Here comes the negative. First no seating available. Had to take my bagel and cawfee to the Broadway Mall benches and consume breakfast there. Cawfee not that hot. Now onto to the goods. Despite the oversized bagel, seasonings were not only light on the seasoned side but non existent on the bottom. Also the bagel was about 90% cooked leaving it a little too chewy. Decent experience but slight room for improvement. I will go back to give them a second chance at getting to at least the top ten. Perhaps being a busy Saturday led to deficiencies.

Everything Toasted with Scallion Cream Cheese and Egg

My favorite bagels in the UWS is Absolute Bagels but when I know that there are too many people waiting at that place, I come to Broadway Bagels. I feel so sad to say that they are second best, but trust me they are still amazing. Put them anywhere else in America and they will be the best tasting bagels you've ever had. I always get the Everything Toasted Bagel with Scallion Cream Cheese and Egg wherever I go, I really should change it up though. The cream cheese itself is delicious, extremely scallion-y which goes well with the eggs, although I wish they were fluffier. The everything bagel is also delicious as well although the outside bits could be ever so slightly crispier. This is all just nit picky things but I still really enjoy this bagel! Overall, solid bagel place in NYC. The wait here is also pretty short, we waited only 3 minutes on a Sunday morning which I consider a win.

Good bagels! The only disappointment was that they were pretty sparse with the flavorings like Everything Bagels, Sesame and so on.

The deluxe pho had all the meat fixings with homemade beef meatballs, thinly sliced sirloin, and pull apart brisket. The noodles and toppings were standard. Overall perfect soup for a chilly rainy day. I only had some bites of the chicken pho but it tasted clean and soothing. The wings in their "pho" sauce were crispy but a little on the saltier side. Almost reminiscent of Korean fried chicken. Service: It was decent. Ambiance: Generally modern decor. Narrow with only about 5-6 tables of seating, so it can fill up fast. We had to wait about 10 min for a table to open up so we could get seated. Here I am…read more The legendary Florentine sandwich shop achieved global fame by earning some of the highest praise in food journalism for its massive, fresh-baked schiacciata sandwiches. Google their name and "best" and get hundreds of hits, but the majors who crowned them "best sandwich" title include Saveur Magazine, the big one touted by the family; Eater NY, ranking La Paradiso the most elite Italian sandwich outside of Italy; Las Vegas Weekly, who crowned them "Home of the world's best sandwiches"; TripAdvisor, for whom the Italian original is the most reviewed eatery with a near perfect rating; and The Infatuation NYC guides who promise the execution of the crispy, airy schiacciata bread completely justifies the hype. All 17 options looked amazing, so I spoke to a regular in line, telling her I couldn't decide between "La Paradiso", the most praised (even though she informed me "mortadella is just bolonie" or the Hot Italian, which was more my style. So, I did what any gluttonous American would do and I got both. And a Diet Coke, of course. La Paradiso has thinly sliced bolonie for a savory base, with creamy shredded stacciatella cheese, with sweet but earthy pistachio cream, and a sprinkle of toasted pistachio for texture (that I didn't detect). It was good, but I will likely fuggedaboutit. The Hot Italian had thin, lean turkey, spicy and smoky spreadable Calabrian pork sausage, a balancing provolone, calabrian chili honey, and peppery arugula (that they claim adds crunch that I didn't detect). Were they life-changing? No. But I rank Paradiso a 8.8 and Hot Italian a 10. And because everyone is hard-working and everything is so freshly prepared and cut, it's a class act. They should seriously make a sign that says, "Can't decide? Get two!" and then give me free sandwiches on my yearly trips for the idea.
