Fast, efficient, clean shop, and super good! When I'm up in Inwood I always stop here for the ultimate BEC on a brioche bun! It's incredible for a hot, grab & go breakfast. I highly recommend not subbing the brioche for a bagel.

Everything Bagel w/ Scallion Cream Cheese

The coffee here is absolutely amazing. The scallion cream cheese has a delicious flavor, but I would say the bagel itself doesn't have my ideal texture. I got an everything bagel and it was lacking seasoning. Nonetheless, it was a good everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. This is such a cute spot in Inwood and I would definitely visit again.

The staff at Inwood Bagels are super friendly. I purchased a dozen bagels for $17. This is a bakers dozen so you'll receive 13 bagels. I did a mix of onion, garlic, egg, blueberry and wheat. I always avoid sesame bagels or any type of bagel including sesame as my mom is allergic. I was super disappointed when I got him and realized there are sesame seeds on the onion bagel. Now I'm not sure if this was a fluke for the 3 that I purchased or if it's common practice. Either way money was wasted as my mom could not eat the bagels.

Solid BLT bagel here. Lots of fillings, and they season with salt and pepper (which not all places do!).

    Vegan Tuna on a bagel

I love their vegan tuna. Just make sure they give you enough for what you paid for. I had an egg on an whole wheat bagel, something simple yet good. If you're vegetarian/vegan diet, they do cook the eggs on the same grill with the meat. The service here is good!

I saw this spot with great varieties of bagels, and it seems like a popular spot. So, we decided to check them out one weekend. The inside was smaller than I expected, long and narrow. You can order fillings on a roll, bagel, or as make it a hero sandwich. They had so many cream cheese spreads, and also, vegan spread, Lox, egg, bacon, etc... They had a cute display on the wall with all sorts of bagels in rows of racks. Although, we didn't see too many bagels there. The male staff greeted us as soon as we got there, and told us that they don't keep too many bagels there on the racks, in order to keep them fresh. That makes total sense... So, if you don't see a particular kind of bagel you want, just ask them to see if they have more in the back. One thing about this place is that there is not spot to eat... Since it was a chilly day, we decided to just head home and have the bagels. The first bagel creation was chosen by my hubby. He went with Fresh Lox & Flavored Cream Cheese on Salt Bagel. And what kind of cream cheese did he get? Blueberry. Hmmm... Blueberry cream cheese with lox... It was actually not bad, the blueberry cream cheese was not so "fruity," but cream cheesy. The bagel was good, but a bit tough. I went with more breakfast type, Sausage, Egg, & Cheese on Everything Bagel. It was quite tasty, and the bagel but much softer. Maybe because it was toasted? I really enjoyed this bagel! The staffs here, especially the male staff who made our bagel creations, was really nice. We felt welcomed and our business appreciated. We shall return for more in a near future!

I've given this place several tries & it's a hard no for me. Dry, cardboard like bagels. I rather spend $5 on bagels from Trader Joe's.

WAY overpriced. $15 for a sandwich made on a bagel? No. Just, no. Here is a tip: never order without seeing a price on the menu.

I ordered a toasted gluten free bagel with cream cheese and what I got was cold and pale. I took a bite and it was disgusting. Many gluten free bread products need to be toasted to be edible which is why I always get them toasted. My receipt said toasted. The bagel was pale and cold. And falling apart. A different bagel store refused to sell their gluten free bagels untoasted. At least they didn't give me food that I couldn't eat. I will not be going back to NYCB&CH anytime soon because that experience left a bad taste in my mouth...literally. But if I do I will make sure to check my bagel before I go.

I mean seriously the options are ENDLESS. Sweet, salty, savory, you name it. I will admit, it's a bit overwhelming because you want to try it all especially because they're all beautifully displayed. Even after you pick the spread, you still have to choose from one of the many different bagel options too so.. that's the hard part - making choices! There is seating available both in and outside. It's within a great walking distance and easily visible / accessible. Love, love, love!! I'm not from NYC, I was visiting so I will be missing this place whole heartedly - until next time!
