WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! After a day of hockey our 8 and 9 year old team went to Broadway Pizza for a team dinner. Upon our arrival, the waitress announced that she was the only one covering the back room which our team was in and the whole bar so please be patient. In my 20's I worked as a server so I completely understood what she was saying and mentally prepared myself to be patient. She then proceeded to take all our drink orders. This took forever to get our drinks but I understood because we were a big group. Seeing how long it took, I wanted to make sure we got our food orders in first because my son was starving from a very long and active day of hockey. Me and another Dad at my table were the first ones to order food at 6:37 pm. I know this because we had been waiting since 6pm to place our food orders...the boys were hungry! We both said if she doesn't get here by 6:40pm, we were just going to leave and get Culvers on the way home. Luckily for me she squeaked in just before our deadline...and orders were placed at 6:37pm. At 7:20pm the food started to come out. Everyone that ordered after us was getting their food first. The other dad at my table said she must have put the orders in from the bottom up so we will get ours last. At 7:30 the other dad at my table got their food. My son and I watched them eat their food. At 7:40 they were done eating and the dad left the table to take a phone call. Five minutes later he comes back and see that I still don't have my food. I then go up to the bar to find our waitress. I ask her if there is any more food coming out and she says she will go check with the kitchen. She comes back to our table 5 minutes later and says she entered our order but the kitchen lost our ticket. She apologizes and said she yelled at the cooks and they are expediting our food. It is now 7:50pm and everyone in our group is starting to notice that I still don't have my food. The whole team is done eating and at 8pm they finally bring out my son's chicken tenders. She said they just put my Original Sausage Hoagie in the over and it would be out shortly. My poor kid was starving and I've never seen him eat so fast. 10 minutes later she comes back and starts handing out checks. She gives me my check and says she comped my food. Let me remind you at this point I still don't have my food!! WTF! Another 10 minutes she comes back with boxes so people can box up their leftovers. I am so pissed at this point that I ask her for a box so I can box up my when it gets here and leave. She says I am so sorry...I will box it up for you. I wait and I wait. Everyone from the team is now leaving and it is a big joke that I still haven't gotten my meal. I finally am so irritated that we get our coats on and walk up to the bar. We stand there for a couple of minutes and I don't see our waitress. We then walk up by the front door where you can see into the kitchen. We stand there for 5 minutes and our waitress is nowhere to be found. At 8:35pm I finally leave completely disgusted...almost 2 hours after I ordered our food. Our check after she comped the food was $12.37...I thought about stiffing her but I am not that guy. I left $13 cash on the table and went home starving...saying to myself that I will never dine or order anything from any Broadway Pizza again. At the end I have to assume our waitress was in the back hiding...waiting for us to leave. This was handled so poorly. In the restaurants I have worked at in the past, the customer wouldn't have even had to ask for a manager to come out. The manager would have just come out on their own and apologized for the mistake and comped our whole meal. Terrible experience!!! read more

What a pleasant surprise!!! I have driven by Broadway Pizza a ton of times....and finally gave it a shot when the appropriate pizza craving collided with a coincidental backup at the intersection that left my husband and I starring at it. Walking in, our first surprise was that they had a buffet!!! We were kindly greeted by a host that took the time to walk us by the buffet and explain everything that was offered on the buffet. Our second surprise was the friendly staff. We were warmly greeted by Jenna, our server, who quickly took our drink order and told us to head up to the buffet when we were ready. I was also very impressed with the wine selection, most pizza places do not have a great wine list and I was excited to see the many oprtions of wine that they offered. A couple staff members kept checking up on us as well and clearing our plates and refilling our water glasses. The pizza was great. I think we tried all the different kinds that were out. We were in line when a customer asked if there was going to be a certain pizza coming out and they said that it was not part of the selection tonight, but told them they would get one in the oven right away and let them know when it was out on the buffet. How neat is that! We got to try pizza we would have never ordered and found out it was a great combination. Our third surprise was the owner came by our table to ask how everything was, when I told her it was our first time there, she took the time to talk with us and let us know what they had going on during the week, how long they had been there and just made small talk with us to make us feel even more welcomed. I am so thrilled that we made the stop last night. We will for sure be back and will not wait for traffic to bring us in. read more

We ordered online and was given and hour before delivery. Ok, no problem. 80 minutes goes by and we call about our pizza. Was told by the woman who answered the phone that the delivery driver just got back and our pizza was on the way. Another 30 minutes pass by. We call again. Same woman answers. She puts us on hold to contact the driver. The manager gets back on the phone and then proceeded to tell us that the card was declined. Not ONCE during the previous phone call was this mentioned. Manager talked down to us the entire time. We gave him the same card number that we used to order the pizza and whaddya know, the transaction went through. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. Two hours and two phone calls to get a burnt luke warm pizza!! read more

My absolute favorite pizza - go for the original thin crust only. Fun neighborhood pizza place and bars.
