Took my M235 for rear brakes and this obnoxious clicking noise in the front that was coming from left and right side depending on how you were turning. They did brakes with OEM pads and aftermarket rotors. They also figured out the issue with the clicking noise which was under torqued lugs. This was all done the same day day. I was referred to Dominic by one of my neighbors who raved about his service. My first impression was that I must be walking into a converted firehouse--brick on the outside; a shiny and amazingly clean work area inside. It didn't look like any service center I had been to before. It's a small operation--just Dominic and a couple of other guys--but when I walked in, they made me feel like I was their only customer at that moment. They listened to what I had to say, performed the required service, and even diagnosed an intermittant "check engine" light problem that another mechanic I had been referred to said was solved--at least until a week later when it started up again. Any BMW owner knows service on these cars are not cheap. (Stay away from LB BMW--major price gauging!) I felt the fees here were very reasonable for BMW service. I'm very happy I found Dominic and his team. This is a group of guys who know what they're doing, treated every customer that I saw walk in with the same personal attention (and no talking down), and were very down to earth. I was having issues with the charger for my GPS in my car and the fuses kept blowing every so often, the last time it happened I did not feel like driving to my usual garage and stopped in to ask if they could help me get this fixed. I was nervous about showing up without an appointment asking for help on the spot but the gentleman that was in the office, stepped away from his computer immediately, asked me to bring the car in, got on the ground and changed the fuse on the spot. I have been bringing my BMWs to this shop since 1996, I have always received top notch work and friendly service. The owner has even given me his car as a loaner (no charge), repaired items for free, found the least expensive OEM parts, and has had my cars always running as if they had come from the dealership. Even when I moved 30 miles away I still bring my car to Dominik and his crew because I trust they are going to tell it to me straight and give me the best solutions for my car. I brought my BMW to his shop after it was acting up. He told me he did not want to work on the car after I had performed some work on it myself to save some money. I got the distinct impression that because I spent my own money that he did not want to work on the car because he was losing money that I had saved working on it myself. His attitude was piss poor and I literally had to get my car pushed out of his building and towed to another shop to fix it. Dominic is a good guy, I found him on Yelp over a year ago. I've come back to him twice already for misc. things like a head light out, and my air conditioning. My first visit they changed all four rotators and break pads, I waited too long to have them changed and they grinded. I had a great experience and the price wasn't too bad either. I felt comfortable and confident with what I paid for. I haven't had any issues with the breaks and that was a year ago. No noise, no squeaks! If you run into big tasks that are outside your skill level, you'll often need the services of qualified independents like BGS who aren't nearly as expensive as the dealership. NOS Mercedes parts are very expensive. However, it is possible to find the same NOS parts online at a discount. eBay is a great place for an occasional used part. Bear in mind, most independents like BGS frown on customers providing their own parts. If your vehicle needs a lot of replacement parts and expensive labor, you might simply abandon the project due to the cost of the restoration. Due to limited finances, I wasn't able to continue my restoration project with BGS and have since transferred the project to Ultimate Autohaus in Cypress, CA. read more

After reading so many rave reviews about this service I decided to give them a try. I had just purchased a used 2013 E-350 Benz and though the dealer assured me that the car was in perfect running shape, I felt that another sources feedback wouldn't hurt, even if it costs a few dollars extra. The test drive was fine and the vehicle handled well,but better safe than than,,, Made an appointment w/ BGSC, asking them to go over the car for any possible flaw now or future problem. Also, since the Mercedes-Benz manuals are daunting I asked if after the inspection they'd give me a crash course in the basic operation of the car. Long story short, when I went to pick up my car, Daniel told me that, indeed it was in perfect working order, then he had the mechanic spend 1/2 hour or so going over the many features of the car. After which I felt much more comfortable and confident about driving it. I was very pleased and satisfied w/this new to me auto repair service and then asked for the bill. You ready? I was informed that THERE WAS NO CHARGE. What? That's correct, we want to help our customers enjoy their cars I was told by Daniel. Where else can you find an attitude like this among dealers or mechanics? Brought my 5 series in here since they work with warranty companies.
