I love this place, we always get pasta dishes. Im OBSESSED with the Chicken Marlasa dish and the marinara sauce is so good, pasta is always al dente, good warm bread comes with the pasta. Meatballs, Penne alla vodka and Bolognese dishes are really good too. I like that your able to add to your orders like we usually add spinach or broccoli to our Alfredo and shrimp to our A'la vodka. Solid slice of pizza. I was in a rush so I wanted to grab something quick. I had eyeballed the lasagna slice from someone else on Yelp, but unfortunately when I was there at lunch they just had the checked parm slice. In my opinion it's one of the best takeout options within 5 blocks of the Kosciuszko train stop. With no good supermarkets around, I was ordering in quite often. Here are a few of my favorite things... The regular cheese pizza, the cookies, especially the white chocolate macadamia ones, the chicken francese with a side of veggies instead of pasta, and the Penna Vodka. The wings are pretty good as well. I'm sure there are a lot of other great things on the menu, but these are a few I can say with confidence will not disappoint I don't recommend the baked ziti, chicken marsala or meatballs. read more

My son plays it safe and orders the cheese slice. This is a nice quick bite spot where you can feel comfortable enough to stay a while and enjoy your food. Seats fill up fast depending on the time of day. There's a good variety of pizza available but of course they ran out of my favorite but he made a personal slice just for me. So they get 5 stars. As others have said - best pizza within walking distance to my home, but still not absolutely great. If you only have your credit card and want a pizza fix which means Athom Cafe (a block down the road) is out of the question (or in my case, if it's Monday and they're closed), it's an easy solution. I go there fairly often, all things considered. Pros - The staff are super friendly, the food is fairly quick, they accept credit (!!!!), huge portions (if you and your friend both want pasta, order one plate, not two), and you get what you're expecting every single time - they're really consistent. Cons - The marinara sauce they use for pasta is almost herbless, the pizza crust tastes like cardboard, NO DELIVERY, and, while not their fault, their customers tend to be assholes. But okay, it's this or Kennedy Fried Chicken. read more

I live for Broadway Pizzeria. The food is fantastic and the place is always filled with a wonderful melting pot of people around the neighborhood- old and new. Their pizza is legit, but I'm often grabbing a burger (which is ALWAYS great, especially for the price). There's often a little bit of a wait, but that's because they're actually making your food on the spot. The staff are always incredibly kind to me and I once got hooked up majorly when they flubbed one of my orders. Also- dieters beware, there are SO MANY COOKIES and they'll heat them up for you if you want so now you know. Seriously, my only negative is that the other stairwell at Kosciusko isn't open (which obviously isn't in their control), because then I could get there even quicker when I'm coming home on the train. P.S. They don't deliver and I secretly hope they never do. read more
